Description of the cottage was spot on. Booking procedure was really easy.
Confirmation, travel and cottage access information was very clear. Had a super time. Will certainly use again.

lovely cottage in a beautiful village but a few niggles, website said 'seaviews' but it was just a glimpse, allocated parking was far more than the stated 5 minutes walk away, a walk that was hilly in places and at a derelict, spooky unkept hotel under a tree that leaked sap all over the car. Garden was up a few steep steps not shown on the website and photos on website must have been taken a while ago.Cornish Horizons had said we needed to vacate the cottage by 10am but the owner wanted us out by 9am!

We were left in a desperate situation over the easter bank holiday, when the cottage we booked was completely unacceptable. It was unclean and smoke damaged, and after numerous calls to cornish horizons, were told that the cottage was fit for purpose (after less than half an hours cleaning time) and that if we were not happy to stay, we could only try and claim our money back through filing a formal complaint. Which left my family completed stranded on easter saturday, with no where safe to stay, and no money to rebook elsewhere. I have had to fight hard for the last 2 months to get a refund, after being told no twice, and only offered a late check in fee. It has been a horrible experience and i would never use cornish horizons again

Company kept us well updated on our booking and provided clear information on when payment was due.
Had a good variety of properties to suit any budget.

The house was spectacular and more. With livestock on your doorstep and the beautiful birds tweeting you drift off to tranquility. Country roads are nerve wracking but when you get back to the house you forget about the roads. Tthe house had everything you need. Also Asda will deliver to the lodge. Back garden is a sun trap....ive got a beautiful tan.

The description on the website fairly accurate, a little bit of tlc on the exterior would make for an additional star

Property has a fantastic sea view, it’s dog friendly and Porthleven is just a short walk away. We’ve been here about 8 times and are coming back in November!

Very professional website with good working background. Easy to navigate. We did not have any problems but I’m sure they would have been handled efficiently.

Lovely 4 storey house in Fowey. Views across harbour from upstairs lounge . Parking space was a bonus as unusual in Fowey .Well located at bottom of steep hill near to pubs, harbour and shops .

Website easy to use. Information on property was accurate. Email and text message a couple of days prior to arrival with information on accessing property. Property clean on arrival.

Cornish Horizons have a good clear website and efficient booking and reminder system. When I needed to telephone them for further information my enquiry was handled efficiently. The property was accurately described and well presented. I originally saw the property on Airbnb but there was a problem with their site payment mechanism so I searched for it elsewhere and was pleased to find it on Cornish Horizons site at a lower cost

Great accommodation in a good location for lots of Cornwall and very helpful owners

Cottage was mostly good but after a couple of problems we contacted Cornish Horizons who told us it wasn't their problem as the property was managed by the owner - didn't go down well!
Owner did try to sort problems and in the end offered a partial refund, which we accepted. Still able to have a good holiday.

I enjoyed this property very much. The views were stunning, and this apartment provided me with a much needed peaceful place, far away from my stressful full time job. I would say that the steps are challenging for some, but for me in my 40's, and physically fit, I felt it was good for me. It was a perfect apartment for me on my own for a week to de-stress. It had all the facilities I needed. It was also very clean. The bed was lovely. The shower great. The sofa comfy. However, I hardly watched TV and read a book I have been meaning to read for a while. I loved the views and even felt inspired to paint it. The slipper bath with views of the sea was great after my long walks along the south west coast path which is right outside. I didn't want to leave and the company arranged an extra night so I didn't have to leave on the Sunday morning. I hope to return.

Stayed in North West cottage in Cornwall looe last week ,On the last night we had a rat and leak in our cottage kitchen no one around to contact despite number left In book .
I did speak to someone in the office in person in the morning and explained but she wasn't interested basically suggested I was lying as she said that the property was deep cleaned .Her attitude was very unprofessional I sent a email over a week ago but iv not had any reply .The cottage next door was having building work so awake very early . I am still waiting for a reply not happy with the staffs member unprofessional behaviour of I don't care !.? Will not be using them again .

We booked Cliff Top Cottage in Porthleven for a 7 day stay in February 2023. We have stayed at the property before. On our arrival we were completely astounded that major building work (demolition) was taking place 3 metres from the property. Astonishingly Cornish Horizon and the owners were unaware that the work was taking place……really!! What was meant to be a relaxing enjoyable break turned out to be a complete disaster.
Trying to get any sense from the company is a complete waste of time, needless to say we will never book via this company ever again.
If you have booked this cottage please contact the agents before you start your holiday and ensure the building work has been complete. Cornish Horizon will happily take your money, but will not tell you the truth.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS, there are far better companies available. The owners of the property must also be held to account….an absolute disgrace.
