Awful thieving company.
House was filthy. Poo in toilets
Dried food in kitchen and bins
Urine stains on carpets dust everywhere,
Disgusting.
Someone’s contact lenses stuck to basin.
Complaints department is a joke take days to reply. Don’t USE THIS COMPANY. Spend your money with people who look after paying customers

Clipping Waves is a fabulous holiday home, extremely comfortable and super clean; with all the comforts of home and a lovely enclosed garden which is perfect for alfresco dining and play. The house is set in a great location, with a play area at the end of the cul-de-sac. Just 1 mile walk down to Readymoney beach; the track is at the side of the quirky bus/library shelter Or just a few minutes drive to the car park. The village has lots of lovely shops, eateries and good access to enjoy water sports or coastal walks. We would highly recommend Clipping Waves, it's a great base for trips out; Our favourites:- Charlestown (Film location for Poldark), The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock is a Victorian Country House with beautiful Gardens and (Day Out) Minack Theatre. Thank you Cornish Horizons, we all enjoyed our stay; including our dog Wilson

Lovely cottage and location however unless you are less that 5’ the shower is too low for a comfortable shower and if you are over 6’ you would bang your head on the beam running over head. Plus the shower pressure is less than startling. The double bed is a small double so any 2 Normal sized adults will have a very uncomfortable holiday. Hot tub wasn’t working for the entire week and you have to pay extra for the sauna. Great location just a lot to work on with the fine details and comfort

Accommodation exactly as described- great location, very clean wonderful views

First time to Cornwall and was lovely we all de-stressed in the week as have busy night shift jobs!! Atlantic bays holiday park was lovely the chalet was very comfortable and cosy and was a bonus of having essentials on arrival!! Not far for places to go leaflets helpful and updates of information from Cornish Horizons was great before our holiday would recommend the website

The apartment was as described, the location was excellent. All the arrangements worked well.

Do Not Book with Cornish Horizons! Customer service is poor! They take zero responsibility for anything that goes wrong with your property and claim its the property owner you must liaise with, its in their terms and conditions (this is only received once booking and payment havr been made).
Pictures of properties advertised are not a true reflection of what the property looks like - false advertising!!

We have been owed deposit for 6 weeks and have had to chase, still not received it.
The houses are lovely but the customer service is really poor.

The kettle was faulty to which i recieved no reply.
More importantly, as we walked in there was a smell of damp. The wall bybthe stairs was damp and it appeared to have been pai rlted over, but you could feel the damp as you put your hand on the wall

A comfortable, clean and quiet cottage with a great garden which had lovely views across the estuary towards Polzeath. The cottage was well equipped, the caretaker very helpful, and the beds particularly comfortable. A great location for beaches, walks and going into Padstow.

This apartment is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very convenient for exploring Cornwall. Padstow is a lovely town to enjoy evenings - for a stroll, a drink, or a super meal.

Everything you needed supplied in the cottage with very helpful owners next door

A lovely spacious, airy apartment with a parking space to the rear via 13 or so steps. You can unload at the front. A short walk on a very busy road to the beach and shops. No welcome pack which was a major disappointment compared to other properties we have stayed in, but that really was the only negative.

Fantastic cottage lovely location in the village with sea view from balcony and a two minute step out the door to sit on the rocks with morning coffee.The harbour has plenty of places to eat and drink lovely views and atmosphere.

We hired a house through Cornish Horizons at the cost of £2300 for a 3 bed for a week. The downstairs bedroom had bad damp and smelt horrendous! It smelt of drains. There was a dehumidifier but it didn't make any difference. My parents in their early 80's stayed in that bedroom. Their bathroom towels and dressing gowns remained wet all holiday. I reported the issue to Cornish Horizons early on (with photographs), they said to contact the house keeper, who said contact Cornish Horizons. There was also a broken loose step at the property, you had to walk on at the top of steep steps. My messages about this got ignored all week. I found the company and home owner to be irresponsible and advice anyone to AVOID this company. They rated our property "Gold 4 star", The lodge @ Kylgenna. Maybe for the view but that's it. I'd advise choosing a website where you can actually read owners honest experiences. I asked for a part refund which Cornish Horizons said "nothing to do with them, the owner says no".

Booked a holiday cottage through here in cornwall. The company are so thorough and great value for money. Property was accurate to listing and lovely. Almost constant communication and great service. Will definitely be using again.

Impossible to get the phone to answer unless u are prepared to wait 30+minutes.sorry this was not meant for country cottages. My experience of them was excellent. My apologies
