Very disappointing experience — think twice before ordering

Before ordering, I saw a similar review about delays and poor communication. I thought it was a one-time problem and that it wouldn’t happen to me. Unfortunately, I experienced almost the exact same thing, and now I believe this may be part of their business practice.

The order was promised in 5–7 business days, but I received it only after 24 business days. During that time, I had to make 5 phone calls and send 9 emails just to get updates.

There were also unexpected DHL/import charges that were not clearly disclosed before ordering, on top of approximately $60 in shipping.

I received repeated explanations and promises that the issue was being handled, but they were not followed by action. I was even told DHL paperwork had been submitted, only to later find out that it had not been submitted due to an error.

24 business days. 5 phone calls. 9 emails. Unexpected charges. Repeated promises that were not kept.

The product eventually arrived, but the experience was extremely frustrating. I would not order from this company again and strongly recommend others think twice before ordering.

They are one of the few companies I purchase dermal filler from because they are consistently reliable.

Ordering was easy and prices are great. It does take about 2 weeks to get the products so just keep that in mind when ordering.

I have had no bad experiences with cosmo direct :) all my orders have arrived, there may have been 1 or 2 that took longer but never due to them (more so bc of the usa administration and tarif delays) I verify all the product I receive as authentic via GS1 scans :)

I placed an order for 12 lip fillers on June 8. According to the supplier, the order shipped on June 11. The shipping route itself is unusual, going from Portugal to Canada and then to the United States.

Both the website and communication via WhatsApp (which is the only contact method provided, rather than a direct phone number) stated delivery would take 7 business days. However, by the 7th business day, the order had not shipped. When I contacted “Dan” via WhatsApp, I was given multiple changing updates—first Wednesday, then Thursday, and then Friday—with no shipment confirmation.

After I sent a message stating I would file a police report and dispute the charge with my bank, the order was finally shipped Friday afternoon. I was then told it would arrive Monday, totaling 8 business days and nearly two weeks from the original order date.

On Saturday, I received an email from DHI (the shipping company) stating my package was on hold pending payment of a $21 “shipping parcel fee,” despite already paying $60 in shipping to Cosmo. This additional fee was never disclosed.

Overall, this experience raises serious concerns about transparency and legitimacy. I strongly recommend avoiding this company and choosing a more reputable supplier, even if the cost is higher.

Don’t buy, it’s a total scam. We are glad we run a test order before making a big purchase. We never received our package although it says it got delivered and customer service Dan via WhatsApp ( I mean.. this was already a red flag right smh) is not professional at all.

I even think some positive reviews are fake. Also after learning how this company was, even you received your orders successfully, it’s most likely not authentic.

Dan was very responsive, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer my questions and guide me when there was some confusion with shipping and payment, and I really appreciated his calm and professional communication.
