Hi Jennett, we’re genuinely sorry for the frustration you went through. Vehicle issues are stressful enough on their own, and we understand how disappointing it feels when things don’t go as smoothly as expected.

We do want to clarify, with care and transparency, that at the time of this situation your policy had not yet taken effect due to the initial grace period tied to mileage. That said, our goal has always been to support you, not hide behind technicalities. Even though coverage was not active yet, we authorized towing assistance and applied a goodwill contribution toward the repair bill because we felt it was the right thing to do and wanted to help ease the burden.

You were not treated as “just a contract,” and we truly appreciate that you previously trusted us and shared a positive experience. If there’s anything still unresolved or if you’d like to talk through this further, our team would really welcome the opportunity to do so and make sure you feel taken care of. Your confidence in us matters, and we’d like the chance to earn it back.

It is a pressure sale

They say that you must decide while still on the phone or you will loose the chance. They will also tell you that you can cancel at any time, but unless you ask, they will not tell you about the cancellation fee. Our cancellation fee is about half of the monthly payment. Maybe that is a coincidence and the fee is the same for everyone.
Kevin called me the same day that Inadded this review and assured me that the cancellation fee had been removed from their policy months ago and that there is no cancellation fee anymore.

They just haven’t updated their booklets, yet. As for the pressure sale, he said that they need to change their policy about the wording so that it doesn’t sound like a pressure sale. It was just one simple phrase that she said. “You need to decide before we end this call or the offer won’t be available.” He did compensate me for my time in talking with him to resolve my issues. So as for customer service and with the new information from Kevin, I changed my review to 5 stars.

One more update. After talking to my original warranty provider that provides the diamond coverage for Ford Motor Co., I found out that this isn’t as good of a deal as I thought it would be. It ended up being more than $50/month more than the diamond coverage through Ford.
The difference is that Ford’s diamond coverage is a contract for 5 years/100,000 more miles paid ahead and this is per month for as long as you own the vehicle.

Well I wasn’t expecting to get as much information as I received . I’ve had many companies call me but they were not very thorough in there presentations. When Jennifer Barton talked to me ;she explained the whole policy that I was getting and assured me that if I ever had to submit a claim that I would be pleased that I bought it.I found her to be very honest and very professional. I’m retired and on a fixed income and she made it easy for me to purchase the plan on a monthly payment. Thank you for calling.

Giving someone a chance

My5 Stars — A Warranty Company That Actually Keeps Its Word experience with CoverageX has been


My experience with CoverageX has been exceptional from start to finish. When my 2014 Infiniti QX70 needed a major transmission repair, I expected stress and delays because that's what most people experience with warranty companies. Instead, CoverageX proved to be the complete opposite.

They asked for the required maintenance records, exactly as my policy stated. I submitted everything, and they reviewed it quickly and confirmed I had fulfilled all my responsibilities. No excuses. No unnecessary hurdles.

They immediately sent an inspector to evaluate the vehicle, and he completed the inspection professionally and on time. From there, CoverageX worked directly with the shop and paid for all approved repairs without pressuring me, delaying anything, or adding confusion.

What stood out was their communication. They updated me at every step. And after the work was done, they called me personally to ensure everything went well and that I was satisfied.

CoverageX helped get my vehicle safely back on the road, and I’m honestly impressed by how honest, transparent, and reliable they were throughout the entire process.

If you meet your obligations as a customer, they absolutely uphold theirs. I highly recommend CoverageX to anyone who wants a warranty company they can actually trust.

Charles Keysock was my salesman and while he knows his product well, he kept going over and over what the policy covered and how the company is A1 certified by better business bureau! I was on the phone for over an hour! I think if a customer says they understand he should move on to the price!
