I feel sorry to write this because I have been using Coverfox services for the past few years and had a decent experience till the latest one.
3 months back I contacted Coverfox as my insurance broker seeking help with alternate options to port my medical insurance and also communicating on my behalf with my medical insurer as I traveled abroad and didn't have any means to reach them directly to respond to a claim that I had submitted while in India.
On my request for alternate options to port, my point of contact whom I had spoken to looped in a couple more folks on email and then stopped responding. So, after a few weeks of follow up when I never got a response, I stopped the mail trail. By then my medical insurance had lapsed and I lost out on the opportunity to continue to be insured.
I still kept following up on the other issue where I needed Coverfox help to reach out to my insurer on my behalf. 2 months of follow up and I never got a response to my query if my concern was passed on to the insurer. Meanwhile, my claim was rejected. Fed up, I sought escalation details. It took 2 weeks of follow up just to get the escalation contact.
Then started my next battle to get a proper response from the escalation contact who is an Associate Manager at Coverfox. From his first response I realized that he wasn't interested in fixing the issues but rather keen on a cover up and pushing the dirt under the carpet. His responses were always vague, and after a month of follow up with him I sought the next level of escalation and 2 weeks of follow up for that resulted him responding that he was the highest level of escalation!
Since then I have written to Grievance@Coverfox a week back and haven't got any response.
In summary, Coverfox isn't what it used to be. when you realize that they aren't even keen in selling a product, then expecting them to represent you is a long shot.
Based on the response or rather lack of it, I get this feeling that the firm is on the downturn.
So, beware and don't waste your time engaging them.
