We had solar panels and battery quoted by Cosy Homes. Our experience with all involved, a cold caller, sales person, surveyor, operations, installers, office manager and office staff was positive. The customer service is really good, so polite and helpful, and they explain everything well. We are currently going through the process of all approvals to be able to export excess power generated.
Our panels are working well, even on dull November days.
Only slight negative points, the scaffolders and installation crews turned up 2 days earlier than expected, both crews offered to come back but we were home - I understand a slight communication error between office and installer. Also the installation guys left all of the boxes, polystyrene, metal bar cut offs and all rubbish on our driveway. I did let Cosy Homes know the next day, but I loaded up my car and took it to the local dump as we had nowhere to store it. I did get an apology and I believe they would have collected it once it was reported.
Overall a good experience mainly due to how lovely everyone was.

Outstanding customer service from initial visit and proposal through to installation. Extremely knowledgeable team, led by Daryl who visited our property after installation to inspect the works and go through app functions. Both the installer and electrician were polite, friendly and courteous. All work carried out and rubbish cleared to high specification. Would recommend this team if you are interested in solar power

Had my insulation installed by CozyHomes, they were helpful and efficient throughout the process, and kept me well up to date with what was going on. I felt reassured, and everyone was so friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend if you planning on getting any energy efficient products.

I would like to clarify that someone has been posting a fake review using my details. My name is Rafiq Rahman, and I can confirm that the review left under the name Raf Rahman is completely false.

My actual experience has been very different. At first, I made the mistake of going with the first company without properly checking all the details. After signing their agreement, I realised the deal didn’t sit well with me, especially as I had opted for a lease that would have cost me a lot in the long run. This led me to seek a second and third opinion.

During this time, Darryl from Cosy Home got in touch to ask if I had found anyone. After comparing all three companies, I found Cosy Home to be the most suitable for my needs. My initial visit was with Richard, who was very helpful and got me signed up. However, due to my own doubts and lack of understanding, I continued to seek further clarification.

Throughout the whole process, Darryl has been extremely helpful — friendly, approachable, and never making me feel pressured to choose them. This gave me a very positive impression.

In the end, I decided to proceed with Cosy Home, and I feel confident I made the right choice. Hopefully, everything goes according to plan, and I end up with even more than what I’ve been promised. I’ll be sure to update my review once the installation is complete.

15/08 i was origin quoted over £13k after over £3k discount where they said they had a special deal as a shop keeper was not able to pay. I obtained another quote which was a lot cheaper so i contact them and they brought their price down to under £9k! How can the price drop over £4k in less than a month. Cancelled my order as I dont trust them.

What a great experience from start to finish! The installers were friendly, professional, and even helped me set up the app on my phone, which made everything so easy. I’m really impressed with the service and would highly recommend this company.”

Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous. The work was carried out quickly and cleanly by a jolly couple lads.

This is how the company works in my experience:

Stage 1 cold call asking some questions

Stage 2 Visit by a so called surveyor (really a high powered salesperson). They tell you the government is pushing to replace existing ageing and less efficient fibreglass. They will look in your loft, and in our case, eaves. They will use a meter which shows some undefined reading demonstrating your insulation is not up to the mark. Lo and behold they have just the answer - more technical explanations. We happen to be doing work in your area (!) and if you sign up now we can give you a hefty discount.

Stage 3 Installation - very efficiently done in half a day.

Stage 4 Removal of old material by separate team. Efficiently done, but the "automatic" collection needed a reminder.

Stage 5 Provision of manufacturer's warranty within 28 days per Terms and Conditions. Still waiting after nearly two months and several reminders. This paperwork's the only proof you have been supplied a bona fide product.

Why did I proceed? Major reason was a hoped for reduction in the solar gain experienced in our dormer bungalow. Apparently you cannot insulate under flat roofs, but we were told we should get some benefit. Not true. Subsequent research shows flat roof insulation to be a minefield.

Before you sign up say to yourself is this firm's product better than others and is it good value. Don't be hassled. The old advice to get at least 3 separate quotes is good advice. There are plenty of firms out there.

Finally there is a government scheme which will pay for this and a lot else besides if you qualify. This firm specifically states that they are not associated with any government scheme.

The work was done for my
Mum who was unsure about the whole project. I haven't seen the work but am confident it will be good the reason I am reviewing is the customer service is just superb. Always polite considerate and immediately understood the approach that would work best. And recognition of service given to the Royal Marines. Impressed enough to spend time on a review.

Need the invertor for my solar panels replacing and took the opportunity to add a battery. Installation carried out very quickly, politely and without fuss.

They were so helpful and efficient in what they were doing and did a brilliant job. They were all helpfulnin gwtting the right one too and very friendly too. Thankyou to you all

Very happy with the work , I’m sure already I have noticed a difference in the warmth held in my property.

Had an inspection today and we couldn't be more grateful for Kallum for being brilliant all throughout! He is knowledgeable, very passionate about his work and has compassion towards his customers.
We are looking forward to the actual loft insulation completion. We have got great confidence in Kallum and his whole team!

The approach was made by a cold call. I have had several visits in the past for the replacement of the old under floor insulation but required me to clear the floor space which I was unwilling to do,
The surveyor measured the area ,took notice of the boxes etc. and contacted his office. A few days later the workman and his young son arrived on time and was very polite. On viewing the work area he advised me and the company that the better option was for the insulation to be in the roof rafters.
Because of the change in the area affected he had to get a further supply of the material which meant that he had to return the following morning to complete the work.
At all times he was friendly, keeping me up to date and apologetic for the delay in completion

this is a split review 5 ***** for the work crews who do the work and 1 * for the office staff.
The two teams who worked on my loft were polite,helpful and tidy absolutly no promblems.
The office well lets give them 5 ***** to start they lose 1 for cold calling a TPS number. Their surveyer was supposed to take 3/4 hour took 11/2 mostly bigging up his company. so 4****. £10,500price quoted was way to high .then the con of ring manager and i could get get a reduction if they had a commercial job local to my area to £ 7500 so now 3***. ( note my second crew came 4hours from Nottingham I'm in Wimbledon so not local ).
Then an office revue droped the price to £ 4995
which I accepted ( less than half the original quote).

First crew were late and on enquiring office told me were "stuck in traffic" they use this excuse far to offen (see other reviews),crew said they were not stuck " where did I get that idea"! I asked the office how long the job would take, they said 6 hours I told them no way, at least 12 hours ( i used to be a time and motion man ) office said they were sending 4 man crew only 2 turned up. Down to 2**. Job actually
took 2 men 13 hours.

I had agreed to the hybris system (r = 3.65) the office without telling me "upgraded" me to the Superfilm system (r=1.65) when I found out I asked how this was an up grade with less r value they said " we do not use the r value " ??? 1*

I had new windows and Doors done .
The two workmen turned up on time each day they were here for three days they removed all old windows and Doors also cleaned up all the Rubbish, the finishing job is so amazing I'm so happy 😃

The 2workmen turned up on time &were very friendly & efficient They hoovered up afterwards &left everywhere tidy The old insulation was taken away as promised
