The class I took with Demerese was amazing! She is such a wonderful instructor. She took her time and demonstrated how to do each step. If someone had a question, she answered it and would demonstrate a technique to assist. She had so many tips and tricks that are helpful in sewing and not just bag making. I would love to see more classes with her.

Nicholas Ball is a truly great teacher and is taking our craft forward in inspiring directions. The triangle quilt has been one of the most enjoyable to make in my 30 years of P&Q, and the result is the most satisfying. Nicolas’s simple technique was beautifully demonstrated, and his explanation of how to grade colour has opened new possibilities. Thank you, Nicholas!

I have recently taken a Nicolas Ball zoom workshop. I found Nicolas' approach very friendly but informative he was very patient & willing to go over things again when asked.I've always been nervous of trying improve but know feel confident to give it a further try. Excellent value for money.

From beginning to end, Nicholas, Rachel, and CraftyMonkies knocked it out of the park again. Registering and paying were easy and the class divine. Nicholas (or, as I refer to him, Sir Nicholas Ball) is a wonderful teacher: Clear, patient, giving.

I had a particular project in mind and Nicholas delivered in words and demonstration the information I needed to make it a success!

I have been enjoying Crafty Monkies classes for nearly 5 years and throughly enjoying them. The wide range of classes available has enabled me to try different mediums and learn lots of new skills. With so much on offer, can’t see me stopping any time soon.

It was a fabulous weekend with like-minded people learning new sewing techniques in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Rachel works so hard to give people the best. That's not only at the retreats but also for the online classes.

I recently attended the CraftyMonkies retreat and had a brilliant time. Very friendly and accessible with generous, sharing tutors, lots of interaction and activities, great food; all hosted by the wonderful Rachel Pierman, for whom no little request was too much, who made us smile and whoop. This was not a one-off - CraftyMonkies has supplied excellent Zoom workshops with interesting tutors for a few years now and all have been excellent.
