Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, cannot return cricket trousers that don't fit as they are coloured (black) yet they are standard cricket trousers, I haven't had them personalised or anything! Absolute joke of a company AVOID at all costs.

Excessive postage and then do not bother to send items out until a week later!
Extremely slow answering queries and are not truthful when dealing with them.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

Terrible after care customer service. Bat purchased for my son with full bat care / knocking in added. The bat broke with very little use. The company is trying to palm me off by saying they are trying to get a response from the supplier - acting as a middle man and taking no responsibility. Left in limbo, out of pocket and no bat in the middle of cricket season. Emails from the company are dismissive, bordering on arrogant. Almost 2 weeks now since raising the issue with them and yet to get any sort of clarity. Shocking service and attitude!

if I was allowed to give no stars or…

if I was allowed to give no stars or minus stars I would. Ordered on 1st April took weeks to even reply, no tracking - my package was delivered to the wrong address, god knows where. they lied and lied and lied more about everything.
I asked 20 times for a refund then accepted 20 percent discount and resend my order ... the tracking showed after 4 week that the parcel ws delivered 200 miles from my address...more lies and deceipt.
this company should be banned from operating in the UK ... they didnt even refund 20 percent - these people are con artists. I am waiting for a refund 8weeks later

Shut this place down!!!!

Is there a Better Business Bureau in the UK like we have here in the US? This company needs to be shutdown. Places and order on April 27th 2025 and it’s May 16th 2025 and still nothing. Place an order costing over $500 and have not received anything, I tried getting in contact with customer service with no luck. Anyone having and issue call your credit card company or bank and have them do a “charge back” for this company’s horrendous service…

If I could give them zero stars I…

If I could give them zero stars I would.
They refused to replace a pair of New Balance cricket boots which were bought in March this year and have been used in half a dozen games. These boots have split along the upper section resulting in my son’s toe poking through and they claim that this loss of protection isn’t a loss of performance. They actually wrote “keep using the boots and get in touch of something else happens”
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Ordered Size 13 cricket spikes and was sent size 9… When I contacted them, they said it was a picking error and I needed to return the old ones (fair enough). As I needed the spikes for the weekend I contacted customer services and asked if they could send size 13’s out asap as it was their error I didn’t have the correct size in the first place. I was then asked to pay again until they received the incorrect shoes back… (slightly concerning, but ok). Received the correct size and sent the incorrect ones back. Still not had a refund 12 days after incorrect shoes were received and signed for after returning them. Even after supplying tracking number and proof of delivery, customer service has gone quiet and not replying to my emails… Absolutely shocking… AVOID AT ALL COSTS…

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. Dreadful in everyway. Over charge for postage then when you try and sort an exchange they take that long you go elsewhere. Been waiting 2 weeks in the end I got a refund. Will never use them again. Customer service is shocking, tell you that the items shipped when it's not even in the warehouse to ship.

Extremely Disappointed – Still No Parcel or Refund After Weeks

I placed an order with Cricket Direct on 15th April, and as of 9th May, I still haven’t received my parcel. I contacted customer service multiple times asking for an update, and now they’re telling me they haven't received the parcel back from Royal Mail—which is not my responsibility. I paid for the product and have nothing to show for it weeks later. When I asked for a refund, they refused, blaming the courier. This is unacceptable customer service and incredibly frustrating. I will never order from them again and would not recommend this company to anyone.

Embarrassment of a company

Embarrassment of a company. £300 order still not received. Fobbed off after 15 times trying to contact them. Days on end telling me my order will be shipped. Cannot speak to a manager. Pay for 1-2 delivery. Yet it’s been over a week. Told “it’s busy season”

AVOID THIS COMPANY

Conned me! Sent me a bat where the stickers weren’t put on properly and were hanging over the edges, also were peeling off and the grip was too small for the bat. Emailed them and they are very rude unhelpful and totally unprofessional trying to make out I’m stupid and I don’t know when somethings wrong, I have over 40 years cricket experience and they try telling me the bat grips standard size even after I bought a new one and that was 3 inches longer they still said I was wrong!!! £400 bat and it’s such poor quality won’t be using them again!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. £200+ bat arrived, was knocked in and snapped in half first set of throw downs, Replacement took two weeks after much persistence, second bat knocked in again, this time by machine, oiled and scuff guarded at additional costs, exact same thing. Clearly not fit for purpose or stored properly as top brand bats should NOT be dry and snap like this. Still awaiting feedback and refund for second bat.

Pathetic customer service

Pathetic customer service. I ordered 8 cricket balls from them on 10th March 2025. My shipment was not shipped for 2 days even when I payed the shipping fee. Up on contacting them, they informed me that 2 of the balls are out of stock and that I need to wait 2 more days. After 2 days they got back to me saying, I would need to wait a week more for them to restock. I asked them to dispatch the 6 balls that are in stock 1st and then send the 2 other balls once they become available. They did the same, up the arrival of 1st shipment with 6 balls, 2 out of them are of in correct size ( I ordered senior 156g balls but received junior balls) when I contacted them they have sent me a return label in email. I have politely requested them to send me the return label along with the 2nd shipment they anyway need to send me the next week. I have requested them through email and phone as I do not have access to printer and also the post office in my neighbourhood doesn't do the printing. They blatantly said it's not their fault and that it is my fault of not securing and print and they dod not send me the label in the 2nd shipment. I dialled them and asked them as a business, did they not even have a printer and if they have a printer can they not offer a print to make customer life easy? They admitted that they have a printer and that it is not their job to send a label. I dod not ask them to send the label in a separate post, all I asked is to pop the label in the consignment that I am receiving any way. They denied and are adamant. As a customer, all I expect is a proper customer service, after all it is their fault to send the wrong sized balls in 1st place. I ahvevtalked all this process through a person named Tina. I am utterly disappointed with the pathetic customer service. Thisnis ny 3rd order with cricket direct and I am not ordering with them anymore. They also misguided me that the label can be scanned in post office, I went around 2 post offices that said this label is different from the bar code that they usually scan and would print the label.
