I booked a Carnival Cruise through this company, my first cruise with carnival. Everything went like clockwork and I had a great time. Customer support via Josephine Scott was good and the booking went without issues

I am very disappointed with the service I received from Cruise Deals NZ, especially from my travel consultant, Shelley Knight.
Booking the cruise was easy, but the real test of customer service comes when something goes wrong. Our Princess Cruise was shortened by one day due to a cyclone. After the cruise, on 11 May, Shelley promised to contact the cruise line on our behalf and get back to us with information. Unfortunately, she never responded. Despite waiting for weeks and following up, we received no assistance and no communication.
A good travel agent should support their clients before, during, and after their trip. Instead, I felt completely ignored once the booking had been completed.
This experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Because of the lack of customer service and communication, I will not use Cruise Deals NZ again and cannot recommend their services.
I hope the management takes customer feedback seriously and improves the level of after-sales support provided to future clients.

Our experience of our trip was ruined by Chinese Airlines. don't ever go with them. we flew 4 times with them throughout our trip and each time, they mucked up. They were gruff at customs, and spoke in Chinese to us with a very bad unprofessional manner. Very bad customer service. We never got things back that we had put in cargo ie: Backpack, raincoat, seat cushion, which were all attached to my wheelchair. Lost property was contacted and they just said they've gone. Not good enough. The rest of the cruise was wonderful. Really enjoyed everything else. Go direct if you can when flying. It took us 32 hours when we left the boat to get home. SO jet-lag has become quite a factor.

This was my first Cruise. I was saddened by how much alcohol was encouraged to be bought and consumed and as we had quite a few days at sea this was heightened.
I didn’t really know what to expect and wish that I had booked a Cruise with more Island or port visits.
I was aware of the long hours that the staff work and no days off. It saddened me also.
My friend and I had did have fun and thoroughly enjoyed the 4 others that we dined with each evening. The 3 Island visits were magic.
I met a young woman who was so seasick she had to pay over a thousand dollars for anti nausea treatment. I know we have Travel Insurance but it put me off going to the Medical Centre when I got a UTI. Fortunately I had medication that helped immensely. A kit of ‘in case’ some medical issue arises would be vital information for all going on a Cruise and especially Anti nausea medication.

Excellent service with a great cruise organised very efficiently.

I highly recommend Cruise Deals.

We have travelled quite a bit but have always visited a Travel Agency, this is our first experience of dealing with an agent by telephone and I admit to initially being a little apprehensive. As it turned out our travel was 100% trouble free and as planned, the agent we were dealing with totally exceeded our expectations, we made changes to our booking but absolutely nothing was too great an issue.

Kay did everything we asked of her and more!!
We will continue to use Cruise Deals in the future as we get very good deals.

Shelley arranged a NZ Ak to Sydney cruise for us. Everything worked out according to the plan and we loved our first cruise. Accommodation in Sydney was lovely and the breakfast was the best. We needed x5 staterooms and she managed to get us all close together, and we even got on-board credit, which was fabulous. Outstanding service by the lovely Shelley Knight from Cruise Deals . The Cruise well exceeded our expectations in every way and was such a fabulous ship ,the accomodation booked in New York was fantastic as the location was perfect as in Barcelona and all flights great too. Booking through Cruise Deals is the way to go as they source the very best deals but don’t skimp on quality of the ships or land accomodation .We were also able to add on extra days after our cruise finished to see other places we wanted to so this was so great.
Also don’t be worried that once you have booked and paid that the company wont help you(unlike other companies ) with any further queries you may have …as Shelly was so helpful with anything I asked .
We would highly recommend Cruise Deals and we can’t wait to book our next trip with them….we have come home with precious memories and it was made easy …thank you .
