Ordered parts over a year ago, parts never came, got no refund, had to charge back from the bank.

I then left a negative Google review for custompcparts.ie only for the site owners to get my review removed and then proceeded to block me.

Not sure how these guys are still in business with shady practises like this...

Up to this day I didn't receive my money back.
They ceased their activities and now opened a new company to scam people.
Be aware.
JUNE 2025, still no sign of refund. They totally ghosted me. They opened a new company to keep trading. Be aware. Don't buy from this company!!!

Cancer is better than them. Overpriced, unprofessional, no care or respect for the customers. Custom parts, game force, custom pc, they keep changing the name/brand...

Worst online shop I have ever dealt with thanks to PayPal I was able to get my money back.

Order received, but no reply from customer service when I queried the order status.

Their customer service platform is hard to find and they don't answer the phone number on the invoice. I hope that improves because of I have an issue, you really need a response. But the order was received within their maximum time limit.

Very good support, called me when they didn't have the ram I ordered and asked me if it was ok to swap with a similar kit, package came with lots of goodies including a free mousepad and USB. Fast delivery.

All of the following info is publicly available and I encourage anyone who is interested to do their own research. Just find a 'whois' website that can also do 'reverse whois' queries (ip addresses to domain names.) Simple really.
The IP address this website uses has four active domain names pointing at it, three of them with individual trustpilot review pages that they have posted responses to in 2022. The 'about' section for each review page is different and there is no indication whatsoever that they all belong to the same business (the address is identical, but written with slight variations.) The domain names with trustpilot pages are custompc.ie, torquegaming.ie and custompcparts.ie.
They also each have four separate google business info pages with different reviewers and reviews attached to each, the fourth is cheaplaptops.ie. To find these google info pages just do a search like so - cheaplaptops carlow. Negative google reviews appear to be significantly more difficult to remove than ones on here.
Is this in violation of trustpilot guidelines for businesses? I'm still awaiting a response to a a tweet and a DM I sent to their twitter support page. Or are they ok with straight-forward deception and camouflaging tactics?
I could also talk about the negative experience I had using their broken website, but that's the lesser of two evils, but still unacceptable since these guys have been at this since 2009!

Thief and scammers.
Still no money two and half year.
Do not buy from them, better to find different store.

Absolutely awful customer service, I ordered components worth EUR600 to fix a PC (Deciding to pay more for an Irish company, hoping they would get here sooner.) and after they weren't dispatched - I gave them a few days to get in contact with me considering the current situation but they advertised themselves as open for business. I tried to get in touch with them and heard nothing so I opened a case in PayPal which they ignored.
I asked via email to cancel my order several times since it could not be dispatched and again, heard nothing. I even tried to call two separate phone numbers on several occasions and heard nothing.
I called PayPal who game me the phone number associated with the PayPal account and when I called that, the gentleman on the other end seemed to be very annoyed that PayPal gave me that number - he also told me that they couldn't dispatch orders until that Friday and the office is open so I should email them. I did and... silence.
That Friday came and went with nary a peep and eventually I could escalate the case to PayPal who contacted the company for information. The company said that my parts were sent and that my tracking number was "000". I had to wait another few days before PayPal would make their decision but I emailed them letting them know that the tracking number is fake and that they may try to send out the parts at a later date and change the tracking number (Even though I had cancelled the order). Eventually, PayPal saw reason and closed the case in my favour.
Save yourself the stress, buy your parts elsewhere. Learn from my mistakes.

Edit 06/04: Glad to see the company admitted to fraud on their own part.
How about you respond to any one of my claims instead of suggesting I somehow committed fraud?
Edit 08/04: They deleted their response and now have settled with reporting my review.
Edit 27/05: My review is stuck as "Under review by Trustpilot", if anyone sees this in the future, know that Trustpilot is complicit with this nonsense as long as they aid these companies in hiding reviews.

I cancelled an order via email but the order was sent to me regardless. I would like a refund and to be able to return the parts.

Just got a response from the company. The problem with their reply is that I cancelled the order before restrictions were put in place. There was no mention of Covid-19 on their website at the time. They should check the dates of my emails.

Good store, but some parts are not fully described.

It took over a week for my order to get to me—bearing in mind that I'm only seven miles away!
Pretty bad service considering the price i paid for postage.

All good, i can reccomend that company.

Quick dispatch and friendly customer service. They have a very good range of products too.

High quality product, at a good price, quickly shipped in a tough package.
