Fantastic service from the guys @ Custom Timber Buildings! Had an outbuilding made exactly how I wanted it and the final product is very high quality. Would recommend to anyone who wants a shed or timber building that's going to last

What a great bunch of people they are at Custom Timber Buildings Ltd. I saw this advertised when I searched on Google for stables and I was a bit nervous as there does seem to be lot of dodgy ‘companies’ advertising on the internet. But, unlike some companies that I initially approached the quotation that they gave me included everything I needed, thus enabling me to budget accurately.

Eventually they supplied me with an 8 block of 12ft x 12ft stables specially adapted for my location into an 'L' shape. The guys travelled all the way down to the ends of Cornwall with the 8 stables. Then arrived in the early morning and where done in only a few days, working all the way through some miserable weather!

Given the great deal on the buildings I had seem to be given, I did worry whether whether the quality of materials might be somewhat compromised, but I can honestly say I couldn’t be more pleased with the materials, the build quality and overall professionalism.

I am absolutely delighted with my stables and can’t wait to have my horses in them! Thank you so much for a really stress free purchase/installation. I will be highly recommending Custom Timber Buildings Ltd to all my friends.

My new building is simply wonderful, and I am very pleased with the effort the staff made to get the building to its final resting place in light of the access problems.

Just wanted what a great job custom timber buildings have done. I'm extremely happy with how my garden shed turned out, nothing but amazing customer service from start to finish. Its fits perfectly in the very awkward space I had in my garden. I'm so happy i have a very pretty, sturdy and safe structure for my family to enjoy.

I ordered a summerhouse with additional height and breathable lining to the walls. It cost £3,014. The floor was very thin, and as you walked, it would split and crack in several places. After just a few weeks I noticed water leaking through the roof which required buckets to collect the water. Eventually I had to secure a tarpaulin sheet over the top to stop the water leaking through. There were many cracks in the walls including a large hole in one of the timbers at the rear which I didn’t notice until the contractors had left. The cladding was not overlapped and had many gaps between the timbers. The felt on the roof was supposed to be a superior quality but what was supplied was a very thin inferior quality that could tear very easily. This was obviously the cause of the water leaking through. Nigel Bennett (the Director) did not accept any liability for an extremely poor quality product. He refused to put the problem right and tried to shift the blame onto me wherever possible.

I am now on my second building from Custom Timber Buildings - this time I went for one of their large timber garages - and am just as pleased with it, as with the workshop they sold me 2 years ago.

I'm told the garage is made from the same heavy duty wood as they made my workshop from (which is still standing strong, even after 2 years of bumps, scrapes, and lawnmower crashes) so I'm confident in the quality.

My only regret, is, with winter coming up, is not looking into the insulation and heating options they offered, although, I have since been informed that wood is actually a better insulator than brick (the old garage) so it should be less of an issue that it was before.

Finally got your shed delivered yesterday by Nigel, probably the most helpful man I have ever met in my life. He was like a delivery, customer service and handyman guru.
Couple of panels of the shed didn't fit through my side door to my garden and instead of just leaving them, he helped me to take bits off and get it through the door and helped me with everything else. An absolute gentleman!!!

The shed itself seems good so far. Took about 6 hours to out up and that included a lunch break and a short stop for the great British weather. I went out and brought screws rather than using the nails they provided as I want to take it down next year to move house.
Only issues was the asphalt for the roof. It isn't the best of quality and it ripped a couple of times. Unfortunately, they don't give any spares for mistakes. The shed it solid and is now a lovely part of my garden.

I know it was a tricky time for you throughout lockdown, but we finally got there and I now have my man cave I can use to escape the missus.

Stay clear! Left me with a leaking wood structure not fit for purpose. Blamed it on “storms” and washed their hands of it. Please read the T&Cs carefully. Any rainshower is considered a storm to them & therefore not their problem if it leaks everywhere! Never heard from them again despite at one point exchanging messages. Shame on you, Nigel & co.
