I was looking for a style of truck that was out of stock. Unexpectedly, one came available and my saleswoman(Christina Hawblitzel) called me the second she saw it. I was able to get the truck under contract that same day.

The knowledge and thoroughness of the account manager. He was always engaging and updating us on models that were available and new units as they became available. He is very proactive and really sold us on Custom One’s service.

Really good experience acquiring my new crane truck, Joe always answering any single questions about it.

Don was always quick to respond, honest with delivery dates.

All questions/concerns addressed very quickly. Staff was very professional and the truck was exactly as advertised. The minor problems found were addressed before we left and overall this company was great to deal with.

Trucks were available and at the right price. All negotiations were handed over the phone and email. Couldn't have been easier.

Brett and the folks in the rental department are really great. Was coming through the area and they got "Betsy" in for a solid preventative maintenance tune up.
Had the opportunity to learn that Custom One began building the trucks that now are available to rent. Extra peace of mind knowing the people looking over the truck have also put in the upfittings when I'm in the bucket 30' up there. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Purchased 2 brand new Peterbilt trucks from them. 1 came off the line not working. For the past 4 months my NEW truck has been sitting at Custom Truck waiting for the sensor...that is nowhere to be found. How many trucks are being sold that do not work or are waiting months on a part that come NEW off the line? My company is losing 5 figures a month because of this, while we still have to pay the monthly payment on a truck that is just sitting there. We have reached out to multiple people and no seems to understand the urgency or the seriousness of the situation. We continue to be told we are in the cue...tell that to the money I'm losing daily. Stop selling trucks NEW that do not work

The ONLY reason I am giving one star is because I'm not given the option of negative stars. I bought a brand new Demag 120 truck crane from Custom Truck One Source about 4 years ago. The crane was located in Texas, and Custom Truck hired drivers to deliver the crane to my shop here in Union, MO. The drivers either weren't instructed, or wrongly instructed by Custom Truck, on how to operate the truck crane and drove it all the way from Texas to Missouri with the transmission in DM Mode which is only supposed to be used when operating the crane on job sites. Because of this, we began having issues with the transmission and clutch as soon as we began using the crane on job sites and informed Custom Truck who said they were noting it. We contacted them several times after to inform them of transmission & clutch problems and they'd send a mechanic to clear the error codes and said they checked the clutch (we've since learned that was an outright lie) and always said they were noting it, but reported that once the codes were cleared, there wasn't much else to do except pull the transmission and motor to see what needed to be replaced and that I'd be without a crane for 2-3 months. I asked if we could wait until winter to do that, and they confirmed we could. Once winter rolled around, and I reached out to get the repairs scheduled, I was told that they couldn't get parts due to COVID but would let me know when parts became available.
About a month ago, while setting up on a job site, the transmission and clutch froze up and the crane became inoperable. I called Custom Truck that day, talked to Zach Boss and he said he'd call back within 24 hours. Nothing.
I've called SEVERAL TIMES and only been able to speak with someone a couple of those times. I spoke to a mechanic who said he'd send us copies of all our service tickets - we never got them. Spoke to a guy named Joe Ross who said he was looking into it and would get back to me - that was 4 days ago and still haven't heard anything. Now, no one there will answer my calls. You'd think when someone spends over a million dollars on a crane that Custom Truck would hire competent drivers to deliver it, AND, that if they'd keep their word when they said they'd take care of damages caused by the incompetent drivers.
