Zero customer service

Seems as though some customers are lucky with Customer Services and others are not.

Purchased an air conditioning unit. Pipe on the back is awful and keeps coming off.

Instead of sending out a replacement to try, I’m told to send the whole massive unit back to the retailer!

I do hope I don’t have any more issues, as the customer service team don’t seem to be bothered and can’t be bothered.

Will be the last appliance I buy of this brand

Daewoo 12kg Ice Maker (designed by Heath Robinson).

Daewoo 12kg ice maker.
Designed by Heath Robinson in his cubism period, (should be his bullet period though) it makes hollow bullets of ice that melt away to nothing as soon as you put them in your drink, no audible clinking of ice here.
Almost entirely made of plastic by Daewoo the thin plastic moving parts look and sound like they could break at anytime under the strain of the clunky and noisy movement. After 12 to 15 mins you are rewarded with a few small hollow shaped bullets of ice, for what use they are you may as well shove them up……………………well enough said.
Daewoo offer ań additional 2 years warranty if you apply within 28 days of purchase, but its hard cheese if you order on-line where you don’t get a receipt because the receipt is the golden ticket to get the 2 year warranty no Receipt no 2 year Warranty.

Broken product and delayed delivery

Delivery was late, even though I paid for next day, and the fan came with broken pieces and a severely damaged box

Well packed, quick delivery, competitive pricing through Daewoo direct-discount offer, ordered cooling fans better than expected, especially compared to high-end brand (also beginning with a 'D'), extended warranty: what is not to like?

After a bit of a problem with the delivery, customer services sorted the problem quickly and easily. The mini oven is perfect for its purpose and was a reasonable price.

Ordering from the website was straightforward and the fan I ordered arrived within the appointed time. Thus far, it’s proved a great product, so am very happy with the product.

Exceptional quality for the price

Exceptional quality for the price. The glass jar and grinder is very attractive and safe compared to plastic ones which can cause micro plastic contamination. Highly recommend it.

This big company really seems to care !

I bought a Daewoo Smartwatch from a shop and had a problem with the charge cable so I emailed their Contact Us and received a swift message back asking for my details and my purchase details and when I had supplied the details I was informed that they had dispatched a replacement to me and a few days later it was here !
Super impressed with the customer care and speed of response!

Rubbish customer service

Ordered May 20th, told it had been dispatched. 9 days later the carrier still hasn’t received the item. I have asked to cancel the order and for a full refund. NO RESPONSE! The telephone number isn’t recognised either.

I bought a ac unit 18 June 2025 from…

I bought a ac unit 18 June 2025 from dawoo uk , it worked fine for 3 months during that years summer . This year one the first day it is not working . Tried to contact dawoo but no phone number , tried to do a live chat but that does not exist . All you can do is email them and they get back to you after 3 days with an automated response telling you to contact the person who sold the item to you . And if they are unsure what to do then they must speak to there manager …. How ironic . It seems that Daewoo is the one who is telling temself in this instance that they don’t know what to do , they did not even ask who I bought it from ! . Don’t Purchase anything from this company . They have zero customer support . I have contacted trading standards and made a complaint with the ombudsman and also I have started a charge back with my bank due to me haveing zero faith in this company’s competence . Please come and collect your faulty item !

The previous information you have provided with is correct, your statutory rights and the Consumer Rights Act lay with the retailer, not the manufacturer.

As to the consumer rights act your rights under this act are against the retailer – the company that sold you the product – not the manufacturer, so you will need to contact them directly as we are unable to offer a replacement or refund as we never took the money for this product.

Bought a replacement kettle

Bought a replacement kettle, toaster and microwave set from Daewoo in grey ‘Argyle’. Came extremely fast and we are really pleased with the look and quality. Great price too.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. .I purchased a kettle which has broke after just 6 months and contacted customer service who informs me that they will not replace or refund the kettle have contacted trading standards as this company just rip off customers with shoddy goods .

The 1st 12 months of the warranty are with the retailer as to your statutory rights, so you will need to visit your local store or contact the retailer to arrange an exchange/refund.

If the retailer is unsure of the procedure in regards to the warranty ask them to contact their head office/sales team for further information/clarification.

Amazing service

I lost the silicone feet off my air fryer trivet and contacted Daewoo customer services who were extremely helpful in sending out a replacement trivet complete with silicone trims .I received the item within 2 days if contacting them. Amazing customer service

Daewoo's 5 star response !

My Daewoo air fryer ceased to function correctly, so I dug out the relevant paperwork to discover my 2.5 year old appliance was covered by Daewoo's 3 year warranty . I contacted Daewoo's helpline and after submitting a detailed response of the fault and a few photos Daewoo offered to replace my appliance with a brand new up to date equivalent model.
Throughout this exchange Daewoo have been understanding, kind and courteous. A truly 5star response to my problem.
I cannot thank Daewoo customer help services enough.
