Terrible Hidden Hook Clasp
I like DY's designs and have 3 men's bracelets. BUT....do NOT get the Chevron bracelet or any that have the Hidden Hook Clasp. These do NOT work. My $995 bracelet came undone several times because it wouldn't stay clasped. I actually went to the store and they said it was functioning properly. But eventually it was lost from my wrist, even when I triple-checked to make sure it was clasped everytime I wore it.
A friend has the black diamond bracelet and it does the same thing. This is a serious design flaw. Don't expect to keep your bracelet very long if it has this clasp.

I had a problem with one of the springs not locking and called customer service and they were extremely helpful .
I was instructed two options . They could set up a on-line return for a full refund or I could return them
or exchange them at the nearest store .
They called ahead to let them know I was coming and sent me a confirmation email and left a phone message.
When I called the store they were already aware of my situation .
I have been a huge fan for many years and they always take such great care of my needs.

Do not purchase anything on line. My husband bought me a bracelet for Christmas. It was too small. We called David Yurman and were told to just return it via UPS and then they would issue a refund. My husband dropped the bracelet and original packaging to UPS as requested. We never received the refund... they are saying they did not get the bracelet that the box was empty... We contacted UPS who are saying they delivered the package. We followed their process on returning the bracelet and are now down $600.00. I will never purchase David Yurman again. I have a few other pieces we brought and love but I will never buy again. They are implying that we sent them back an empty box... and stole the bracelet... NEVER AGAIN!!! SHAME ON THEM.

Bad experience
I own many David Yurman pieces and generally have been happy. I bought a bracelet about 4.5 months ago and changed my mind right after so I returned it the next day. Because I paid cash they said they will issue a check for the refund which usually takes 4-8 weeks. Itâs 18 weeks now and have yet to receive the check. Contacted customer service via their official email twice a month ago and was told they will escalate but still have not received it. Horrible experience for such a high end butique jewelry store which supposedly sells high quality jewelry - extremely disappointed. Will send them another email now and go to the store tomorrow to see if I can speak with a store manager. It should have not been this way having their customer waste their time for sth that should be guaranteed on their end.

Purchased a ring in New Hampshire from Nordstrom, picked it up and they had repacked the ring in a non David Yurman ring case.
Figured this wouldnât be a big deal, Iâll take some extra time off and travel out of my way to a Yurman store, Iâll ask for a ring box.
After explaining things and proving I purchased a David Yurman ring, they refused a courtesy ring box. Pretty poor customer service, Iâd purchased other fine jewelry from them before and didnât make a big deal about it. Iâll be going back to Barmakians in the future though, I kinda feel dirty betraying them honestly, Barmakian have always been customer focused, returning emails and offering me up-to 15% off regularly.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
I went into the David Yurman store at Lennox Square in Atlanta, Georgia. I had cash in hand to purchase a bracelet from David Yurman that I had always wanted. I was in the store for 30 minutes waiting on somebody to help me. People were helping other customers and there were several that were just standing around not offering to help me at all. I ended up walking out of the store without the bracelet that I have been wanting for a long time and I felt that I have been ignored because I walked in there with blue jeans on and probably look like I couldnât afford any of their jewelry. Again, I had cash in hand and no help. This has got to be the worst customer service I have ever seen in any high-end store anywhere. I even went into Rolex store that day and people offered to help me right away but not David Yurman. I will never get my David Yurman bracelet for which I am sorry but Iâve even more sorry that David Yurmanâs people do not care about customers when they donât look like people that should be shopping in their store. Not all of us dress like we are wealthy, which makes it easier for us to move around.
Extremely Disappointed with Service and Lack of Communication
I ordered a ring and returned it the next day for a size exchange, but the replacement was shipped to the wrong address. I called as soon as I saw the delivery update and was told someone would look into it, yet no one followed up. I emailed customer service and never received a response. I filed a UPS claim, which is now stuck in limbo while they try to locate the package, and I still have not heard anything from DY. I spent over $2,000 and wanted this ring as a gift for my daughter. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable, and after reading other reviews, it all makes sense. At this point, I just want my money back and donât want to keep wasting my valuable time trying to get a response.

David Yurman earrings not received.
I ordered a pair of earrings for $650 for a special occasion. David Yurman said the earrings were delivered on December 3. They were not delivered to our home. I called the company on the 4th of December to see what had happened to the order. They stated that it was a UPS problem and would take up to 6 weeks to resolve this issue. The customer service rep also stated that within 48 hours I would get an email about a replacement order. I heard nothing within the 48 hours so I called David Yurman back. The customer service rep said tgey had filed with UPS but it would take up to 6 weeks to resolve the problem. I then asked about a replacement order and they stated that Operations would have to get back to me within a week. Not acceptable. I wanted the earrings for a special occasion and am incredibly disappointed in the service I received. Am getting my bank to withhold payment. I have many David Yurman pieces but will not be buying from the company again.

Brought an 8 month old necklace to the Oak Brook store to have extra length added to the chain. The sales person accepted the service request and quoted $50-60 as the chain is sterling silver. Two weeks later, the quote came in at $200 - for 2â of sterling silver chain on a $375 necklace. Naturally, I complained. Another two weeks goes by before I got a response. I was told that the quote was based on the age of the necklace (8 months), the condition of the necklace (like new - had only be worn by itself 20 times or so because it was uncomfortably short), and that they donât really do repairs. I declined and requested that the necklace be returned. I had to follow up 4 times asking that my necklace be returned (policy states return within 10 days of customer decision) ⊠I finally received it after 3 months. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I bought a diamond and link ring from David Yurman , which literally fell apart and fell in my lap. It had not been worn many times. Itâs a unique ring that you would not wear on a day-to-day basis. They would not back this product. They wanted to charge me a lot of money to repair it. Itâs a shame that they do not stand by their products.

So disappointed. We purchased bezel ring for my daughterâs graduation. Not even 4 months later the stone was gone. DY did not cover the repair. They cost to repair is on the customer and the process to send in, get evaluated, and repair is over a month.
All around excellence - from quality to service.
I own somewhere around 20 David Yurman pieces - rings, bracelets and necklaces. They are high quality, designed beautifully and have worn well. My pieces range in price from $200 to $5,000 each. Recently, I purchased a Chevron black rubber bracelet that was problematic. I wrote to the NY office. And, within a few days, received a call from a representative who offered to send me a replacement bracelet at no charge. I arranged to pick it up at a local DY store. This is high end, timely customer service at its best. I remain a loyal customer.
Outstanding Customer Service
First, i absolutely love all of my David Yurman jewelry. The quality (especially of their silver pieces) is unmatched and makes me feel confident to continue adding to my DY collection. Second, I have visited the DY @ Northpark Mall in Dallas many times and have always been helped immediately by knowledgeable sales associates who all managed to find the delicate balance between being attentive without making me feel pressured to make a purchase. Today, however, the sales associate who assisted me, Dennis, went over and above to provide outstanding customer service, and it was truly appreciated.
I took in a bracelet I had purchased several months ago but thought was kind of warped/didn't sit on my wrist correctly to see about sending it in for repair... and was shocked by the generous resolution that was offered. Minutes later, it was completely handled and we had moved on to finding a ring to stack with one I had purchased previously. He patiently got out every ring I wanted to see (as well as an assortment of other pieces that I was interested in or that caught my eye), and I left with a new ring that I absolutely love.
What I never mentioned is that last week, my husband was very unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer, and we only found out yesterday that the prognosis is excellent, thank God. Needless to say, it's been a stressful 1 1/2 weeks and while relieved, we are still reeling from all of it. So, the total surprise of something I was sure would be at least somewhat of a hassle actually being the easiest thing ever plus the gracious way I was treated by Dennis really just made my whole day. : ) An excellent representative for the DY brand. and thank you again for being so kind without ever knowing how much it was needed/appreciated in that momet.
On a Friday... David Yurman came through!
On a Friday, I realized I needed an item by Sunday afternoon. The davidyurman.com website has an overnight shipping option, but that would have left me with a Monday delivery. So I called David Yurman and a lady named Karla assisted me. What a wonderful experience. Saturday delivery isn't a typical option with them and Karla went out of her way to contact their fulfillment department to make sure my overnight order had a Saturday delivery option. It was delivered on Saturday! Bonus, the FedEx delivery man was a long lost buddy that I got to reconnect with! Thank you David Yurman, you've got a gem in Karla and a happy customer in me.

My daughterâs birthday gift became the worst nightmare, expensive package was lost , customer service absolutely horrible and unprofessional, I spent hours /days/nights on the phone with them / carrier and bank and even after carrier admitted their fault and paid DY I finally received my money back after more than a month of fighting. They absolutely lost a customer I will never shop there again.
