My experience with Debthelper has been excellent. When I signed up over two years ago the process was very straightforward and easy to understand. Tom, the gentleman helping me has even called me periodically to see how I’m doing and if I had any additional questions or concerns. Very helpful and reassuring.

Austin was very helpful with getting me on their Program and getting my Debts paid. Austin explained their program very well and always promptly answered my questions when needed. Since Debt Helper works with the credit card companies to reduce the interest to No Interest or Low Interest, my debts reduced more quickly making them easier to pay off.
(Before I found Debt Helper I went with a company who told me not to pay the debts and they would settle with them so I could pay less. After 2 months they still hadn't settled with the creditors and the money I paid them monthly still hadn't been used to pay the debts so it ruined my credit.)

Customer service sucks, can never reach anyone on the phone, their web platform sucks and you can’t make any changes without contacting customer service…. Which again is horrendous.

Also pay an additional 20-30$ fee on top of this. Yeah you get a lower interest rate, but you can get that at any debt assistance program that isn’t complete garbage.

The sign-up went smoothly. Austin was incredible with everything and was very helpful. When I decided to cancel my service, I got a call from one of the managers that wanted to know why I wanted to cancel the service. I explained to him that it was my decision and honestly I did not feel like explaining to him on why I wanted to cancel and that I just wanted to be done with the conversation, with a due respect. He proceeded to say “oh they prepped you really good, they are good salesmen”. I told him that was very rude to say and that at the end of the day it was my decision to make anyway. He didn’t even know what my alternative was or what I wanted to do, so just making assumptions, being argumentative and rude behind someone’s decision to cancel their program is a very big red flag for me. The only reason I gave them two stars is because of Austin. Another thing that I did not like too much is that you can’t include every account in this program that you have. I was still left with having to pay for some cards out of pocket due to them not being accepted into the program. Any advice I would give anyone is to proceed with caution. Taking care of your debt is already a stressful situation and as consumers, we deserve to do business with companies that are understanding and not mocking you or trying to be argumentative when you request to cancel their service. At the end of the day, this doesn’t have anything to do with them so make the decision that works for you.

Bullies! Not helpful! When I called to see what they were about they pressured me to join right away even though I told them they were my first phone call and I wanted to see what else was out there. Then when I wanted to cancel they argued with me and told me lies that I confirmed were lies with my credit card people and debthelper.com told me how my credit life afterwards would be hell, it wasn’t. Just don’t let them pressure you and or tell you things that aren’t true to get or keep your business because this company lives on these two traits.

I like that Alex went through all the information and he made sure I understood what he was saying so I like that.

Finding a qualified person who can help you with debt is easy. Alex Borge is extremely knowledgeable and helpful in this area. He can give great advice about credit card debt and how to handle it.

I've been in the program for 8 months and so far it seems to be working great all my bills are getting paid on time as far as my credit cards go I'm really happy with the service

Your program has helped me so much to be able to handle my debt increase this year because of the corona virus - I have hope now that I had despair before that my credit would be ruined and I would never get out of debt - can't praise this program enough
