I attended the free 'Get intoâŠ
I attended the free 'Get into Dentistry' conference with my mum this Saturday. This is just one of the many things that Dental Mentor offer for aspiring dentists. The conference ran from 9.30am to 3.30pm and during the day Dr Safiyyah and Dr Siva, two chief mentors managed to cover a staggering amount of information from which grades you need to study dentistry to how to write a personal statement. They gave a really comprehensive overview of the process of applying to study dentistry and the chance to ask questions during breaks was really helpful. It was a great experience overall.

Medic mentor for dentistry review
there was a safeguarding team to support answering wuestions jn the box. Mentors allowed everyone to take turns in asking questions and answered very gently. They gone through the whole process of apllying to dentistry and what you actually need to preaper for it, gave exsmples of the ucat exam and personal statemnts for an overall idea . Examples of work experince and volunteering were given. Realistic advice was spot on

There was a range of of interview preparation, with group, panel and MMIâs. There were some very challenging questions which allowed me to expand my critical thinking and build confidence for real Dental interviews. The doctors and dentists were very supportive and provided helpful advice on how to excel in interviews. The time pressure ensured the real life interview situations were simulated. This day has reduced the nerves for my real interview, so a massive thank you!!
