I purchased at 1000W Electric Bike Kit - 6Ah Battery.
The product arrived in great time and was packaged nicely and the components looked great.
I had a few issues installing the front wheel motel, but this is not dillengers fault as they cannot possibly accommodate all various forms of bicycles (although instructions are not the best and should be considered being redesigned by dillenger). A little saddle bag is given to place the controller in although it can barley accommodate it, I had to cut a hole it it to get the wires in. No trouble can fix that.
Once installed, I was eager to get going! However it would not function, I checked all connections and everything was good. Tried again and the handle displays the the battery is flat even though it is charged. Read the voltage with a multimeter, all good. Still displays flat battery, I had to switch it on and off for about 5mins before I got it to function. Bike runs really good for about 5mins before completely shutting off and losing power.
I contacted Dillinger and were quick to respond where they offered a few suggestions that did unfortunately not help. I now have to send back the battery for them to test (yes at my expense!)

I had great faith in this company and was excited to own a ebike from "Australia #1 for electric bikes". But unfortunately, I would like to express my deep disappointment in dillenger. I bought this kit with the expectation of it being in a working and functional condition upon arrival; this is not too much to ask. But I do understand that sometimes components can slip through the cracks. However, it should be a standard procedure to test the product before being sold. And it is deeply disturbing that dillenger expects the consumer to then undergo added expense of returning their potentially defective product and then pay to have tested ("at Dillengers discretion") by the very company that should have conducted this beforehand.

Be careful.

Ordered the Street Legal upgrade kit, arrived in Melbourne in 2 days.
Had some issues with the wheel hub rubbing against the fork, this was rectified by adding an additional washer as per Dillenger's staff advice.
Otherwise the installation was extremely easy, and I had great fun riding the upgraded bike for the first time today!

My top of the line Hunter Off-road is amazing.
Want to climb mountains? Want to commute to your job 20k's from home? Want to get free parking and have it cost 4c to recharge? My new bike paid itself off within 1 month, and goes faster than morning traffic too!

My new Dillenger step through bike helps me get around since my hip operation. I had some questions and every single one was answered professionally and honestly by the staff of the Dillenger office and I purchased a bike that was absolutely right for me and my lifestyle.

I have a Hunter Off-road and it is amazing!

These guys share my passion for getting around economically (and fast) and provided me with an awesome electric bike. A few months after I bought it I experienced an issue with the display so I contacted them, sent them a couple of pics and a replacement was sent out on the same day! the BEST customer service experience ever. In my experience it is not just sale but how a business handles problems and I cannot fault Dillenger at all.

Easy website, easy order placement, easy to track goods, prompt delivery, everything as it should be with a supplier keen for future business. Straight forward assembly, works well, looking forward to many more enjoyable rides. Would certainly recommend Dillenger to others.

The front wheel hub motor was easy enough to install and makes riding a lot of fun.

I did find it kind of fiddly getting one of the brake cutout mechanisms to work because of the shape of my brake handles and it would have been good if the manual had done a better job of describing how to do that.

I live in an area with a LOT of hills and the motor makes them much flatter ;) I think I'll now ride a lot more.

Delivery service excellent. As per above maybe an idea to check the batteries.
Also no handbook accompanied the conversion kit
Cant comment on performance at this stage as have only ridden it once before the battery went flat and failed to charge

Very helpful in dealing with my phone enquiries and questions. Delivery was fast. So far the bike has been awesome. Great power, good suspension. Can't wait to get it onto some serious MTB tracks.

When I blew my old controller after 2 years hard use I searched around for a replacement and found this one for a fair price. 95% similar to my old controller, only the PAS and throttle connections needed a bit of rewiring to make it work with my existing setup.

I bought a kit and found the installation instructions very out of date and not appropriate for the kit I bought. There were references to other documents (which weren't available) and it meant I spent a fair bit of time trying to interpret their instructions, rather than just following them.

So eventually I had to take it to their head office to have them install it properly.

Once I had it back and had driven two hors to get home, I took it for a ride. It was then I saw that the wheel wasn't true. So I rang dlllinger up to ask if they could just pay for a local bike shop to true the wheel rather than me wasting another 3 hours driving the bike back down to their office to have them fix their dodgey wheel. They refused. They insisted I waste three hours of my time so that they didn't have to pay $15 for a local shop to fix their dodgey product. Very sad and terrible service.

I again highlighted to them that it was really unfair for them to insist I waste my day driving their defective product down to them, just so that they can save $15. They didn't care.

As a result of their attitude and approach to customer service, I would definitely not recommend buying from Dillinger.

Delivered fast, but no email confirmation of freight. Box well packed. Didn't contain printed instructions. Was easily found on their website, but wouldn't hurt to include it.

Haven't used equipment for long, but seems of reasonable quality.

I got the hunter and love it. It has plenty of power and also comfortable to ride, I am pleased I chose this bike and have not problems getting places with it.

Have been using the kit for a week now and went onto a GIANT CYPRESS, no dramas at all. Very pleased with the whole kit and the performance as well. Has helped to take the burn out of the legs on a daily 20km commute.

The bafang mid drive kit is good although the motor and control wire came with different fittings, quick snip and different join solved problem. The staff were pleasant. The toolkit is not great and instructions could be better but most solutions can be found on the net.

I have purchased 3 items from this company to fix my electric bike which broke down, first time the part worked. second time the bike broke down the wrong part was sent, correct part was ordered. No satisfaction from Dillinger. gave up without replacement and 2 months later ordered another part which does not work. And I cannot be bother with dealing with them again. Too much trouble, too poor service

The wheel excel is too big for my standard fork ends and require modification. The sales rep made it sound easy but in reality this kit require specialised customisation that is not easily done and not without precision tools. Management is not interested in returns. I would not recommend buying from this vendor
