Excellent customer service
I purchased a set of Kohler pistons and rings from DIY spare parts, once I received the parts and tested the fits I noticed what I thought was a problem with the dimensions of the piston rings. I contacted DIY spare parts and was put into contact with Colin who was extremely understanding of the issue I had and very willing to help get to the bottom of the problem. Quite a bit of time went by with Colin having to go back and forth to Kohler for all relevant information and constantly pushing to get my problem solved. Long story short the dimensions were correct but without the help and support I received from Colin (and possibly others in the team) I would have been completely stuck and wouldn't have got the engine rebuilt for my customer.
My experience with DIY spare parts was over and above what I expected, I would highly recommend them for the fair pricing, excellent customer support, excellent ability and willingness to be able to help with problems and to follow the process of buying parts right through to ensuring the customer is extremely happy with the service they have received.

My 20 year old Stiga mower had badlyâŠ
My 20 year old Stiga mower had badly damaged blades and could find no parts in the US. With a broader search, I found DIY Spare Parts in the UK. They did a fantastic job of tracking down blades, not just exactly the correct part but even upgraded with replaceable tips. Jon even contacted Stiga in Sweden and was able to confirm correct fit. Hi Jim, there are 2.5 million parts available on the site and we have a huge stock holding, but cannot hold everything. Stock can go in and out of stock, particularly at this time of year and we are dependent on manufacturers resupplying us, this normally only takes 1 to 2 days, so there is rarely a need to show stock levels here.
If a manufacturer is out of stock and there is none of a part in the UK, then we have to wait for the manufacturer's supply.
We have both Gaskets in stock, but Stihl UK are unfortunately out of stock of the Carb until Wednesday this week. It looks like a non-stocking item with them, so is a very rarely sold item, but they have sourced it from Europe in 8 working days for you.
We replied to your web enquiry with this information and will get the part to you as soon as we can.

Lots of time to send the parts and only after contact the support they have said there were some stock problems and they were waiting for the parts.
After reception... they sent one part wrong... i controlled my order... they have sent the wrong part. Contact... waited for days... new ticket... and then, "there was a mistake... ble bla bla... we will send you the correct one..." two months have passed, no part.... and my current ticket is waiting for 5 days right now.
