No humans there to sort it out. No response to messages.
Just a website and a link requiring me to enter all my personal and company details to raise a ticket which you will then sell!
Mostly to scammers.
You are dodgy AF.
Just find me a human contact who can hit delete.

Idk what they do besides send spam emails I don’t want. Privacy policy sucks and or out/delete forms are TERRIBLE. If your looking for whatever service this company does don’t do it

Ich machte klar und deutlich daß wir in allen was wir tun alles vorab oder sofort bezahlen. Brauchen keine Kredite oder der gleichen. Somit auch keine Auskünfte. Und warum sollten sie mehr Auskünfte über uns erlangen. Er fühlte sich beleidigt. Finde ich unseriös er als die Schufa!!

Don’t let the "since 1841" legacy fool you. D&B is effectively a legalized gaslighting operation targeting modern entrepreneurs. They intentionally make their "free" verification process a black hole just to upsell you on expensive "Credit Builder" packages.
The Reality:
• Intentional Obstruction: I submitted 100% legitimate, government-issued documents (IRS EIN, Articles of Organization), only to be met with generic rejections and radio silence. This isn't a technical glitch; it's a feature to wear you down.
• The "Offshore" Black Hole: Their verification process is outsourced to offshore support centers that have zero understanding of modern, digital-first business structures. They follow rigid, outdated templates designed to reject you until you’re frustrated enough to pay.
• A Protection Racket: It’s simple—they keep your profile "unverified" or "incomplete" until you pay hundreds of dollars for their premium services. It’s a total protection racket disguised as "business credit reporting."
• Avoid the Headache: Modern Fintech platforms (Stripe, Shopify, Lili) verify businesses in seconds via API. D&B is a dinosaur that adds no value to a modern digital business.
Bottom Line: Save your sanity and your money. Ignore their gaslighting tactics, focus on your cash flow, and let the real financial institutions verify your business. D&B is obsolete.

This company is certainly a scam and should be investigated. The products they sell are absolutely worthless and the customer service is none existent.
I wish I would have seen these reviews before giving them any money. They should be boycotted by all businesses.

Actual MONTHS of trying to get my DUNS number and no progress. Their customer service just can’t comprehend the concept of a foreign owned U.S business.

Unfortunately, this company has been taken over by marketers for garbage or scam b2b services. Once your company is listed, it's a barrage of spam phone calls and texts. They treat your company's info like it's public information even if it's not correct. Try getting it updated and they want you to go through a two week verification process as if you're applying for a mortgage or passport.

John, You are absolutely correct in how there operations are but if you are going to have an app on Google and Apple you have to. Otherwise AVOID!!!! I originally registered through Rocket Lawyer and their registered agent was no longer, so I asked the SC of State if the founder and CEO could be and they said yes so I have. However that information has not been updated internally and even when I provide the the requested documents like articles of incorporation, irs etc they won't accept (always denied). Once you are registered that is the permanent info. What if the company that provides the registered agent goes out of business? The one that started was SureTec.

I had one page of Ms word document on my phone I wanted to convert to a PDF file. After going through the list, I chose this one. After converting, they charged me £0.10, which I happily paid. In the morning, I found a payment of £49.90 from Paypal to the same company. I contacted Paypal but they ruled in favour of the seller. I asked them to check this so-called company, they couldn't find it. It has no website, no contact number etc. Many other people online were scammed the way I was.

This is hands-down the most useless customer support I’ve ever dealt with, paired with an equally useless website.
Their entire operation is a bureaucratic hamster wheel. You get sent to one person, who sends you to another, who then dumps you right back where you started. Nobody takes responsibility. Nobody solves anything. Nobody even pretends to care.
If you value your time, sanity, or blood pressure, stay far away. Dealing with these people requires an absurd amount of free time and the patience of a saint—and even then, you’ll walk away with nothing to show for it. Avoid at all costs.
And if you’re unlucky enough to be assigned to Sherry Pardines from the Customer Service Team at Dun & Bradstreet, brace yourself. Expect gaslighting, endless holds, and outright refusal to answer basic questions. Refusal to help. Refusal to transfer you to someone competent. Refusal to escalate to a manager. Just stonewalling and wasting your time.
An absolute dumpster fire of a “support” experience.

Very nasty UK office. Zero customer service. Tried to cancel my subscription but they just auto renewed later the same day. Particular bad service from Emmy who refused to pass on a message to my ‘account manager’ Jenny to call her customer back, insisting that I the customer need to send an email for a call back from Jenny. Disgraceful and dishonest organisation.

Selten so einen unfreundlichen Telefonat geführt. Ich wurde total überrumpelt mit diesem Telefonat. Ein Anruf ohne sich vorzustellen. Dann in eine unangemessen Ton, des Call Center Mitarbeiters, meine Daten abzugleichen um ohne Erklärung wofür das ganze, einfach aufzulegen.
Their website is archaic, unintuitive, and clearly built for a pre-digital era. Basic validation, inline corrections, or post-submission amendments simply do not exist. The process feels less like interacting with a modern data provider and more like navigating a bureaucratic relic that survives purely because it has no real competition.
What makes this worse is that D&B knows it is a gatekeeper. Banks, vendors, and government entities still require DUNS numbers, yet the company operates with zero urgency, zero customer empathy, and zero accountability. Any other business with this level of friction and incompetence would have been disrupted years ago—but D&B continues to exist because the market has been forced to rely on it.
Requiring customers to restart an entire application over a missing “LLC” is not compliance, it’s operational negligence. For a company whose core business is supposedly business data accuracy, their own processes are shockingly fragile.
This was a complete waste of time, entirely avoidable, and emblematic of a company that has not modernized its systems, thinking, or customer experience. The only surprising thing is that there isn’t a serious alternative yet—because the bar to do better could not be lower.
Avoid interacting with this company unless you are absolutely forced to.
