Try great coffee from roasters everywhere!

I have the four-bag filter subscription and I'm always delighted with the selection. We don't have great coffee shops locally so I love that I get a surprise range through the door every month from roasters around the UK and beyond. Some are familiar, others are new to me which is great. It means when I'm travelling I know which local roasters to seek out.

I love that it's easy to add extra bags or even merch if something comes in that takes my fancy. For example, I found a book for a Christmas gift and it was delivered super-fast. I also love that Dog & Hat have great connections with overseas roasters which can mean some exclusive surprises, like the remote tutored tasting with Canadian roasters Rabbit Hole.

Finally, I must mention the little magazine that I look forward to every month. It's full of the latest coffee news, interviews with the roasters that month and info on the monthly coffee selection. Plus, every now and then you get a little extra gift like a snack or Caffeine mag - always a lovely surprise.

An amazingly personal touch. The range of coffees in a monthly subscription is amazing, with the accompanying booklet interviewing each roaster, giving dialled in recipes for each brew AND updates on D&H itself is a great touch. But most of all, it's a small team with personalities that shine through the emails, website and booklet. You can message them about anything and they'll just have a chat. You really feel like you're supporting a very kind group of people which can count for a lot.

The coffee selection is amazing, I love getting my new selection of coffees each month, alongside the brilliant booklet with details of each roaster and brewing notes. I cannot recommend enough. I wish I'd been a subscriber for much longer.

Having tried a few, and stayed with a few that have then gone on to fold, Dog & Hat have not only been the most consistent, but also the best BY A ROYAL MILE.

The guide with an insight to each roaster, as well as Grind guides are priceless as well as fun and informative and save time and wasted coffee too that I found happened with most other subs coffees trying to dial them in blind.

I have made a couple of requests to alter or amend my sub over the years and Su & Dave have always obliged and done so with no hesitation or grumbling. No request has been any bother (and I’ve probably pushed my luck a bit)

They always have discounts if you find one you love and fancy an extra bag and have a dedicated members area as well as Facebook page where members swap ideas, questions and pictures.

Love Dog and Hat. I was referred to them through a coffee forum as a great subscription option and have been very happily receiving their coffee for a few years now. I have only had one issue in that time, a small quantity of one coffee was roasted outside the profile agreed and I was unlucky enough to get a bag. It was replaced within a a couple of days and my contact with Su through the experience was exactly what you hope for as a customer. I love that they're a small business and if I didn't get my coffee from Dog and Hat I'd no doubt buy a kg at a time of the same safe coffee I liked from one roaster and never have the chance to expand my horizons and experience coffee from all over the UK and indeed the world. Their subscription is easily adjusted from 2-4 bags to allow for lighter or heavier usage months. I have no plans to go anywhere else for my mainstay monthly beans and expect to remain a customer as long as I continue to make espresso.

Great products, speedy shipping & dispatch. I've been signed up for a subscription for over a year now and have zero complaints. The team are always really good at communicating what's going on, and at responding to messages.

I've also bought a few items from their shop and they've always been quickly dispatched and well packed.

It's clear the team really enjoy coffee and the community, as it shows in every box you receive.

If you're looking for excellent coffee, interesting varieties from micro to celebrated roasters, and a lovely team doing things with purpose and passion - this is it.

I have been a subscriber for two years, as well as placing other orders for additional items or coffee. The customer service offered is exceptional, on the rare occasion something goes wrong they go above and beyond to rectify the situation. An incredible company!

First class service. I've ordered from Dog and Hat Coffee twice now and on both occasions delivery was earlier than expected and contained a bonus gift too. This is how to do business. If they have it, order it here, don't bother going anywhere else.

Really fantastic, can highly recommend as a coffee lover. Luckily stumbled upon them from a facebook coffee group and decided to give them a go.

Well curated coffees, and the whole product/experience is enjoyable. They've really gone through effort to make a good experience, it's not just some bags of coffee in the post. Its a booklet, which tells you about the coffees, has some Q&A with the roaster, gives guidance on grind settings for the beans.

Amazing service, great coffee and an awesome brand

We shopped around for an eternity for the subscription for my dad, as he's a massive coffee nerd. Dog and Hat has been even better than expected. Great value, amazing selections of coffee and the little information booklet is a really nice touch. The first box even included welcome gifts etc which was well above and beyond.

Awesome service.

We’ve had a coffee subscription with Dog & Hat in the past, but this time I was ordering a set of barista scales. I ordered them yesterday at 16:00. By 16:35 they had dispatched, and they arrived this morning at 10:00! They even included a free 250g of coffee beans too. A great example of a small business, and I will definitely be starting up a coffee subscription again soon!

Purchased a coffee scale six months ago which unfortunately developed a fault.
Emailed company who responded same evening. Few pictures and video of fault and a replacement was sent the next working day.
Amazing customer service. Just need to try the subscription next.

If you drink Coffee, Espresso based or Filter. Subscribe to D&H. They deliver the friendliest service you will ever come across and fill your cupboard with the best coffee beans 🫘 going. I have subscribed and enjoy my monthly delivery. Genuinely, I’m a snob and the team always send the best they can find and It’s like Christmas every month.

I’ve been a subscriber on the International Roaster subscription for quite a few months now, and what an amazing experience it has been! The team at Dog & Hat are really great at finding exciting roasters everywhere. All boxes come with a little booklet full of information about these different roasters which is a great addition too. Although the coffee comes from far away it’s always very freshly roasted. I’m honestly amazed I’ve enjoyed 100% of the coffee they’ve offered on this subscription. I can even easily order some extra bags if there’s a coffee I really loved. I’ve also on a couple of occasions exchanged emails with Su and Elle who have always been very fast to respond and nice to deal with. Highly recommended if you want to discover a wide variety of roasters and their coffees.
