I was let down by another company I had ordered my engineered from. I rang Hamiltons and Jordan was able to organise delivery very quickly and efficiently at a reasonable price. Very glad I found Hamiltons. Thank you Jordan!

Purchased flooring for my kitchen. Great help from start to finish, great team love the finish and service. Going back for my lounge in the new year! Merry Christmas guys!

Always top quality products and service, been using hamiltons for a while now and Jordan is a great communicator, nothing is too much, when I've had a query they are always on hand.

I visited Hamiltons to find some flooring for my kitchen, I dealt with James. He was very helpful and took on board all of things I wanted and didn’t want. My floor was delivered quickly and has made so much difference to my kitchen. I’ll definitely be back to purchase some more flooring for my other rooms! Highly recommend Hamiltons!

BUYER BEWARE !
I give Hamiltons 1 star based on their credit card payment system alongside their installation daily rate. I was quoted a price which included 4 days installation at a rate of £600 a day for a father & son doing the installation (£50 of this was apparently for Hamiltons themselves !). Once you give your credit card details for a day by day payment, they are in complete control of ALL payments so BEWARE! I told Jordan when I made the order that I would be totally p1ssed off if the installers didn’t work a full day or left on the final day early. He said don’t worry that won’t happen. What happened , they left each day at 3.30/4,00pm and guess what , they left the 4th day at 12.30pm. So, my advice to all clients is to agree a price , and then pay cash each day depending on hours worked but don’t let them have a freebie 1/2 day. Once you give them credit card dets they have you by the short n curly’s ! I can’t stress enough. Buyer beware. You have been warned. This comment I’m sure won’t affect jobs that are scheduled for 1 day only. Over this beware. Remember cash only and only when you’re happy.

Great until you have a problem, then zero communication. A box of engineered wood had four of the six boards warped beyond use, not just vertically as first thought but horizontally too. So basically fire wood. Sent photos of the issue which they disputed saying could be used. Not responding to emails since.
My advise it to buy elsewhere.

I managed to fit the floor despite not because of the ones supplied by Hamiltons using usable bits of boards from the previous supply(wh couldn't help as they no longer supplied this brand)
This is a quote from Hamiltons email to seeing my trust pilot review:
"My apologise on this, I sent the information over to my warehouse to source some extra boards in which they have now informed me they had a loose pack however they had warped due to them being unopened and in a cold warehouse"
Seems very likely my boards were also warped after being in their cold warehouse!

Hamiltons Doors and Floors gave me a firm quotation and installation date for replacing my engineered wood floor with a stick down laminate. They arrived on time and completed the job with the minimum of fuss or mess. Despite changing our minds on the scotia and door liner they retuned to fix a more expensive scotia within a couple of days with no extra charge. The floor engineers were a pleasure to have in the house being very accommodating with interruptions' from us, including moving a very heavy marble table out of the house. It is a semi open plan large floor area covering four rooms. The end result looks fantastic and this down to the professionalism and experience of Hamiltons Doors and Floors and I have no hesitation in recommending them to install your new floor.

We went along to Hamiltons showroom to discuss what would suit our circumstances and budget.
We needed flooring for our kitchen/diner that was hard-wearing, suitable for an elderly dog, waterproof, attractive but not break the bank.
Jimmy and Jordan were very helpful. They showed us many designs and explained what we would need and why.
The fitters came and did an excellent job. They managed to work around and move around the large furniture that couldn't be taken out of the room. They even resized and refitted the missing kick boards.
Beautiful floor. The room looks amazing now.

I've used Hamiltons a couple of times and have found the experience stress free. Hamiltons use a team of people who are friendly and affable, and that's really important on large scale jobs. I've had new flooring in 4 rooms and 15 beautiful doors installed by them, and it all went well. Any fine tunings I requested were carried out quickly and willingly. Great service and would definitely use them again.

We wanted to get Kahrs parquet for our flat in Belgium, but couldn't get any response from the supposed agents in all the countries around (not just Belgium). In desperation we turned to Hamiltons: they not only gave us a brilliant price for exactly what we wanted, but worked with the customs agent and the delivery people to make the whole thing incredibly quick and trouble-free. Jordan is an absolute STAR, and we are very grateful for his help to secure our beautiful floor...

Hamilton Doors and Floors have recently completed the Flooring in out back room with Khars Cornwall Engineered Wood. The first visit was informative and good advise was given. We arranged with them to have a self levelling screed put down before installation of the flooring. Their workers turned up as arranged and were professional and efficient and we were really impressed with the finish of the floor. We would not hesitate to recommend this company if you are thinking of having a floor done.

James Hamilton was great in helping us select the right floor for our new home, and the carpenter and flooring specialist, Danny, did a terrific job installing our new floors. He was punctual, efficient, tidy and friendly. Couldn't have asked for better service. And we're thrilled with how our house looks now!

Do not buy from this company, if you do, at your own risk and pay with a CREDIT CARD. James and the team are difficult to deal with over any issues, our flooring was not fit for purpose bowed & had been kept in damp conditions.

Very quick, efficient and knowledgeable service provided by James and his team. My new floor looks lovely.

Placed an order with Hamiltons over the phone and spoke to James who was very knowledgable on the type of flooring and everything I needed to know about it. James did his best to place the order quickly in order to speed up delivery.

Excellent company,
Prompt delivery, there was an issue with a few flooring planks , one phone call is all that was needed to sort this out, replacements sent out very quickly.

Hamiltons had a vast choice of laminates and with a bit of advice from James we found the exact match of flooring we wanted.
We would also like to recommend the fitters who fitted our flooring so expertly. Daniel and his son were so helpful and tidy. They finished the flooring and skirting beautifully.

You reply is a blatant lie.

I left note on my online purchase if it can be delivered to third floor, you didn't reply.

Last Wednesday, I received delivery confirmation by email. I emailed back exactly like the following.

I will be home alone I cannot bring them up to third floor. I told this to James.
There was no reply again.
I have never cancelled the delivery.

You cancelled the delivery without letting me know.

My floor fitter was waiting for almost 6 hours. It was cold and raining.

You should be ashamed for your irresponsible, rude and un-ethical behavior.

I was promised that I ordered skirting and trims would be delivered tomorrow. Ten minutes ago I phoned James from Hamilton, he reassured me my order would be delivered tomorrow.
Their distribution company phoned me my order has to be delivered by this Friday. I explained them that I paid for my builder coming tomorrow and I won't be home this Friday.
James asked me to cancel my order but I will be charged for delivery fees. He then left when we were talking over the phone.
Cannot be so rude.

The customer service was excellent by a follow-up call after ordering and providing options for delivery. Although the delivery message by the courier was a bit confusing, the customer service was very helpful to fix the problem. The delivery was in time and the wood flooring is beautiful! :-)
