The company was very good at communication and dealt with our queries efficiently and timely. The booking process was simple.
However, we chose the proprty because it was perfectaccess the South west coastal walk and walk our digs to Lyme Regis annd Seaton.
They failed to inform us there was a land slip on the access path, and it was impossible to access the Coastal Path. This was a selling point of the property, and the main reason we paid a little extra, so it spoiled a large part of our break.
The property was pleasant enough, Joiners on the Rousden estate, but not really dog friendly, with lots of low level breakables, and was in need of a deep clean, although not overly dirty, just high level ceilings with cobwebs and dust in places

Beautifully cared for cottage in an ideal location for exploring Dorset and East Devon.

We had the most fantastic time at this truly perfect seaside apartment. We were down for a weekend and wished we could have stayed longer. The location is ideal - right on the high street, but set back so that you don’t get noise and you have beautiful views out to sea. The rooms were comfortable and clean, everything is modern and nicely maintained, and the kitchen was well equipped as people who like to cook while we are away. The parking was very secure and convenient too. We recommend this place very highly to anyone looking to stay in Lyme Regis - you won’t be disappointed!

The cottage was lovely and thoughtfully laid out. There was everything we needed and having our own parking space was a bonus. The house needs a bit of maintenance. On occasions when running the cold water it made a banging noise which was fine during the day but woke everyone up at night. The boiler too needs repressurising as it’s on zero. Apart from that we had a lovely holiday and will be back !

1 Lilac Cottages was very clean and in a great quiet location in Uplyme, had everything you needed and was really comfortable.
Dorset & Devon Holiday Cottages responded immediately when we found we had no tea towels, they were delivered the very next morning.

We liked the position of the accommodation overall. However, there were a few issues -
My friend has reduced mobility and is in heart failure. I had understood when booking that there would be parking with her disabled badge

The top of the shower room had lots of mold. I have cystic lung disease so was unable to use the shower. An extractor fan is needed.

The key safe was difficult to use.

There is no dishwasher- tho tablets were provided?!

Very good, clean spacious, and with parking - exactly what was required.

The flat was clean and comfortable, well equipped and not too far from the front. The parking was needed! We'd definitely consider returning.

This is the 4th or 5th time we have stayed here and would happily stay time and time again, the property its clean and perfectly located, we had an issue with the tv not working when we checked in, spoke to the property manager and the maintenance man was there within the hour with a new tv which we did not expect at all, can’t fault the service at all 5 stars and would definitely recommend to any one, what a lovely property thanks again

Great location. Comfy and cool.No sound proofing. Could hear other guests above very clearly. Back yard like a waste ground and not cleaned a real shame.

We actually booked this property on the morning of our departure after another accommodation cancelled at the last minute, so it was a huge relief to find somewhere so lovely.

We had a lovely few days staying in Harville Cottage. It is a quaint cosy cottage right on the sea front. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed, and the location was superb. The views of the sea and the Cobb from the windows were amazing and it was wonderful to go to sleep ( and wake up ) to the sound of the waves. The town centre is only a few minutes away, with an excellent range of pubs and restaurants. We particularly liked the Town Mill complex with its craft shops, microbrewery, and tapas restaurant.
