Dorset & Devon Holiday Cottages レビュー

2 Hadleigh Villa
I don’t generally leave reviews unless I’m really really happy about something. That’s the case here right from the beginning Ben was super helpful with anything I asked. The house was amazing it suited all of our family which were aged 2 to 79. Very well equipped everything you would need. Beds were super comfy and waking up to that view every morning was fabulous. Lyme Regis has lots to offer beach, gardens, independent coffee shops and shops to browse in. On overcast days visited Beer,Sidmouth,Axminster and Weymouth. The welcome pack of milk, juice, cake etc.was very much appreciated. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place and hopefully we’ll get the chance to stay there again.

Very good communication and extremely helpful with a parking issue (not the fault of the agency).

Modern, clean apartment in excellent location within Lyme Regis

One word sums up Lyme Bay View - Amazing! Amazing location, amazing off road parking, amazing view and amazing hi - spec luxury accommodation. The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing time to enjoy the beach and make the most of all the great hostelries and restaurants, all a short stroll away. The highlight, though, has to be sitting on the balcony with a G & T, watching the sun set over the bay, absolutely idyllic. We can’t wait to return and experience it all again!

Lovely place plus friendly and helpful support

We had a superb weekend in January. Lyme Bay View was perfect - off street allocated parking. you could hear and see the waves lapping from the amazing balcony views and you were right in the middle of town. But it was lovely and quiet. And through the garden there’s a gate that takes you down to the beach. Everything was on the doorstep. The apartment was warm (underfloor heating) and nicely furnished and decorated. Comfy beds. Nice bed linen. Good WiFi and a mid-century sideboard well stocked for games. Loads of hot water. Decent oven. Lovely shower gels and soaps too, thanks! Definitely going back!

We are the owners of Harville Cottage, on the seafront at Lyme Regis.  We recently moved to DDHC because we felt that a local organisation would be best able to provide the personal service which we and our guests need.  This has certainly proved to be the case.  As a small, local organisation, DDHC is able to cater for our needs and those of our guests quickly and efficiently.  As we had hoped, DDHC provides a high quality service and is very responsive when issues arise.  This is not always the case with the larger providers, where guests can sometimes find it very difficult to resolve issues with an organisation which is based far from Lyme Regis and does not know the locality.  DDHC, on the other hand, are easily contactable and provide a quick, effective and personal service.  We are delighted with our move and are already reaping the rewards.

The property location is great - fabulous views over the Cobb and the Jurassic coast
The property is spacious, light and airy

Good location only 10mins walk (downhill) to the sea.
Some may find the walk back up the hill a challenge. Well equipped apartment with comfy beds. Private parking spot right outside the front door. Nice view of the cliffs and coastline from the lounge window.

Amazing location, view to sit and stare at for hours, great towels, fabulous clean and bright apartment. Only a few slight issues that in no way spoilt our stay. No batteries to replace those that ran out in remote we bought some for it. Surprised that no squeegee for shower enclosure. Tin opener seems to be going rusty have cleaned off as best we could before using.

Perfect location in a lovely part of Dorset, could not be happier with the booking process very helpful and friendly would not hesitate to book with them again and we will

Excellent company with a personal touch. We had a fantastic stay in Beer, and the attention to detail was superb. Highly recommended

Ideal for a family mini-break to Lyme Regis! The apartment is in a PERFECT location right in the heart of Lyme Regis with views of the beach. Comfy beds and well-equipped accommodation. Fantastic and friendly customer service from Devon & Dorset Holiday Cottages (allowed us to check in slightly earlier as there was no one staying the night before us). We loved exploring Lyme Regis and Charmouth and had lots of fun fossil hunting, playing on the beach, walking the coast path, looking around the independent shops and museums and much more. Would definitely recommend!

Great communication. Ben was friendly and quick to respond when I sent some queries via messages. It's the 4th time we've used Dorset & Devon Holiday Cottages and every time it's been great.

The apartment on the seafront in Lyme Regis is great. It has everything you need for your stay. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any information on how to access the apartment upon arrival and had to call. The contact person was busy but friendly and gave us the code for the key box. Improve the communication a bit and it’s a five‑star stay! We’d be happy to come back.

Had a great stay, lovely modern apartment, central location and friendly host

Easy site to book, clear property information & good communication. Helpful to know the property was ready early and contact text on arrival to ensure all OK. Immediate personal response to text & emails.

Great communication throughout, property was spotless and was perfect for our holiday of 2 adults and 3 children

Dorset and Devon Holiday Cottages were extremely helpful. One electric fire ceased to work and I texted them on Saturday evening and by Sunday morning, they delivered a replacement.
We left a bag in the chalet and they let me know and arranged to post it back to me.
Very Helpful company indeed.
