The worst Chanel. It was too difficult to cancel my subscription. Plus they don’t have English dramas and what they show in Social media, I t tried to view that they asked to top up payment even though my subscription was valid
Absolute scam site, avoid at all cost. Apologies first for the novel length review, but I want to give a blow by blow heads up on the scam actions this site takes to take your money.
They hook you in with a catchy storyline. Lead you to a website rather than an app. Scam you into only signing up with Google Pay or Apple Pay and then set the link to appear as a standard Google Play Store subscription (I don't use Apple), but what that 1 click does is link themselves to Google Wallet rather than a valid subscription via Google, deleting their transaction history in the Wallet by turning off Google's transaction history and bypass Google to link directly to your Credit card and bank account, all with that click of the button.
I attempted to Cancel my week's subscription which I didn't realise I'd signed up to on clicking the link, within 5 minutes when I realised most of the content was not what I like to watch. They wouldn't let me cancel. So I immediately changed my Visa card and deleted the one they held on record while also reporting them to my bank. The email for their support which I googled is a bad email, and the emails they sent me about their service and a link to cancel just generated attempts to deduct money before my actual subscription ended. They've made 7 attempts to deduct $19.99 in US dollars. That's 1.5 times my local currency. The first was on 10 June, the day prior to my so called expiry of my weekly subscription and was likely due to me making it absolutely clear I refused to pay further because they'd ignored my 4 requests to cancel. And then daily attempts ever since which luckily have all been declined.
I have reported them to Google. If I could give zero stars I would.
I actually want to give it Zero stars! I watched 1 story and they took 4 payments from my account totalling almost R2000 . WTF??? What do I have to do to get my money back?? I don't have the app I never registered with them so there is nowhere to go and manage the subscription, if anyone can please help me??? I would greatly appreciate it!
They randomly take money from my account months after my subscription was cancelled. They only refund it when I threaten to involve my bank.
Giving one star because I have to give some.
This is a scam a big sort of scam. I subscribed for 1 week and the Chanel did not work. I emailed cancelling and they still charging me. I try to cancelling with my bank but the payment was made as it was a live card payment made so I guess I have to change my card. I decided to change my card and to cancel my Apple Pay method as this is leading me to scammers as we sometimes use without read or looking for reviews.
Well, the app was not good with frozen videos and no response from them.
Stay away big scammers
If I could give it less I would - most of the time I give places a one star as a last resort- though some is my fault I was lead to believe that it was free for 5 days, but 2 of my transactions are pending on the first day
Also led to registering before I know where I was going and also thought I was going to get a download to a Bristol local paper
Watch your Credit Card statements carefully and I have cancelled twice and also asking them not to take the payments but not too sure if they will respond -
This is one reason whey I do not do on line banking as it is so easy to lead to fraud
With Covid 19 be even more careful - this I am sure is a fraud
I wanted to make an appointment at Best Buy and this came up as spam. I tried to back out and never finished registering but the account was created. So I logged in to hit the Cancel" tab. Could not find it. What do you want to bet when I call, more crap? No wonder the BBB will not accredit them. Stay away, run away!!
Illegally charging to my credit card, had to replace it. Scammers
