An Experience Defined by Excellence !

My experience with Mecy Clinic after my mummy makeover was truly exceptional. The doctor Assoc. Prof. Cem Yildirim MD is incredibly talented, passionate about his work, and delivers outstanding results. Beyond his skills, he is warm, kind, and genuinely caring, which made me feel completely at ease throughout the journey.

The entire team—from the nurses clinical coordinator to the chauffeurs and even the photographer—were attentive, supportive, and truly amazing. The clinic/hospital staff were equally excellent, ensuring my recovery was smooth and comfortable every step of the way.

I’m beyond grateful for the care and results I received. Highly recommended.

My procedures were scheduled with Dr. Cem Yildirim in Istanbul.

After my first surgery, another operation was planned less than 24 hours later at 5 AM. I informed the team that I did not feel medically fit to proceed.

The second procedure did not occur, and I was not admitted. My refund and requested documentation were not provided.

Care decisions should prioritise patient safety and proper medical assessment. I hope future patients receive clearer communication and support.

I do not recommend this doctor or their clinic. They only show selected cases, while online there are groups of people who have been harmed and describe their horrible experiences.

My experience was absolutely unacceptable, and I continue to suffer from the consequences of the procedure. I underwent an abdominoplasty, which was performed in a sloppy, careless, and scandalous manner. I had a serious infection – it almost led to sepsis! A few months after the surgery, horrible lumps appeared all over the area. The result is catastrophic for me, and I will need to undergo another corrective surgery.

Both the doctor and their assistant behaved in a completely unacceptable way, ignoring my messages, leaving me without any support, and cutting off all contact.

The clinic only resumed contact after I published a negative review. I received messages pressuring me to remove it, promising a small refund for unperformed services. I removed my first review, but to this day I have received no money and they continue to ignore me, even though I keep asking about it.

I warn everyone – if you are considering this clinic, think very carefully, because you could regret it for your whole life, losing money, your health, and precious time.

Ich habe bei Dr. Cem Yildirim eine 360° Bauchdeckenstraffung inkl. Liposuktion sowie eine Armstraffung durchführen lassen und bin absolut begeistert. Das Ergebnis ist wirklich wunderschön geworden und übertrifft meine Erwartungen. Ich werde ständig auf die positive Veränderung angesprochen, da das Resultat auch für Außenstehende absolut überzeugend und ästhetisch ist. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann den Arzt wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Only travel to this clinic for surgery if after care is not important to you. Your only access will be an assistant and the dr is always too busy for review.
Results and cosmetic desires are no issue, only medical complications and no support or reassurance has really been offered. It’s been a very lonely experience post op and I’m unhappy with my breast lift and implants as they have dropped far too much leaving my nipples and scars on the breast very high up.
If you are happy to be dismissed and talking to only an AI bot in seeking reassurance, as I have for 3 months post surgery, go ahead this clinic is for you. But I would delve further into aftercare policies and outlined follow up care when seeking an overseas surgery. I feel the minute I left Istanbul I went to the bottom of priority.

Where do I start could go on all day about how amazing this clinic. I travelled from the UK 3 years ago for breast lift and implants, ofcourse i had fear with travelling abroad but as soon as I arrived I was made to feel so comfortable. As I arrived I was taken striaght to hospital where they perfomed all important blood tests and investigations, they was nothing delayed. The next morning I met Dr cem Yildrim, he was so professional and made me feel so comfortable. I worried about language barrier but dr cem had very good English. He explained to me about the process and reasured me about everything. He marked out were all my incisions would be and not long after I was taken straight to surgery. Everything went amazing in surgery, pain was bad but the hospital made me comfortable as much as they could. I stayed in Turkey for 6 nights and travelled home on the 7th day after being given the green light to fly. When I arrived home dr cem kept in contact with my recovery and any fears I had I was able to reach him personally, within a few hours he got straight back to me. After few weeks everything had settled wounds had healed and everything was perfect i was so happy. 7 months into my journey I fell pregnant which I feared would effect my breast augmentation. When I gave birth to my son I was told in the UK I could not breastfeed as I had a lift and nerves were severed. The morning is was due to leave the hospital my breast milk came through which was a complete shock to myself and doctors in the UK. The quoted who ever done your boob's must be a very good surgeon that he was able to lift and reattach nipple without damaging the nerves. Around 8 months after having my son I felt my breasts had slightly changed was was reconsidering another lift i reached out to dr cem and he strongly advised me against it as my body was still coming back to normal and with being under the muscle, exercising could lift them. He is not a doctor just after your money he cares about his patients. I cannot recommend dr cem enough and for any future surgery's this is the man I will be going to. Don't let the Internet scare you into going abroad these doctors are very highly educated and all board certified any surgery comes with risks may that me in the UK or abroad

Von Anfang bis Ende war alles hervorragend organisiert professionell, freundlich und mit viel Geduld.
Selbst in Momenten, in denen ich nervös war und viele 😆 scheinbar einfache Fragen gestellt habe, bekam ich immer eine Antwort, und man ging verständnisvoll mit mir um.

Die Operation war meine erste im Leben, ebenso wie meine erste Vollnarkose, und ich bin sehr froh, dass ich in so vertrauensvolle und fürsorgliche Hände geraten bin.

Es sind inzwischen etwa zwei Wochen nach der Operation vergangen, und ich erhalte weiterhin Unterstützung über WhatsApp von der wunderbaren Yaren, die jederzeit erreichbar ist, sehr aufmerksam ist und alles perfekt organisiert hat: alle Fahrten, Hotels, Termine, Dokumente, Konsultationen, meine Fragen und Wünsche🙈😊🥹. Zum Beispiel habe ich gestern Fotos meiner Narben geschickt, um sicherzugehen, dass alles in Ordnung ist, und habe sofort Rückmeldung erhalten.

Zurzeit befinde ich mich noch in der Erholungsphase nach Abdominoplastik / 360°-Liposuktion, daher werde ich weiterhin Kontakt halten.

Auch möchte ich Olesya, die Managerin des Teams, hervorheben, die als Übersetzerin und professionelle Begleiterin jeden Schritt detailliert erklärt hat, sodass ich moralisch bestens vorbereitet war.

Die Krankenschwester Sheima ist eine besondere Person: freundlich und stets lächelnd, aber gleichzeitig sehr präzise und professionell 😄 Respekt!

Ich habe das Team von Dr. Cem Yildirim persönlich erlebt und kann bestätigen, dass es ein sehr eingespieltes, freundliches und aufmerksam arbeitendes Team ist, das alles dafür tut, dass sich der Patient sicher und gut betreut fühlt🥰🥰

The hospital is very nice and very clean. The staff is very friendly, especially Ms. Yaren and Ms. Şeyma. Their care and attention are top-notch. I'd like to thank them both very much. I'd also like to thank my doctor, Cem Yıldırım, for making me look beautiful.

Sono una ragazza italiana di 35 anni che ha deciso di non usufruire del ssn gratuito per correggere i difetti estetici lasciati dall'intervento post bariatrico fatto un anno prima legato alla perdita di 30kg ma che ha scelto di andare a Instambul, a pagamento da sola dal dottor Cem per sottopormi ad un intervento abbastanza complesso che includeva:
*mastopessi con protesi
*addominoplastica, liposuzione e la cucitura dei muscoli addominali dovuta alla peristalsi legata al dimagrimento
*torsoplastica con autotrapianto dei miei tessuti e bbl
(sono partita il 23/07/2025, operata il 24/07/2025 rientrata in Italia il 30/07/2025)
Non conoscevo né il dottore né persone che avevano usufruito dei suoi servizi ma posso dire che quando ho dovuto scegliere nella scelta del chirurgo dalla lista che mi avevano girato ho scelto lui, visionando i suoi lavori dalla pagina Instagram e sinceramente ho fatto la scelta migliore della mia vita pur non sapendo che lui è specializzato nella ricostruzione dei tessuti, quindi chi meglio di lui poteva trattare il mio caso? qualche giorno prima di partire, come chiunque, ho iniziato ad aver paura, ansia e insicurezza soprattutto perché dovevo andare in un paese estero da sola, non conoscendo né il turco né l'inglese, non conoscendo il dottore avevo paura che mi facesse un lavoro brutto ma soprattutto che dando l'anticipo per bonifico poi si rivelasse solo una truffa perdendo i miei soldi così ho iniziato a cercare le recensioni su internet, casualmente in un sito ho trovato una recensione che mi ha messo paura, raggelare il sangue che in me ha sollevato non pochi dubbi, diffidenza e a rischiato di farmi cambiare idea: una ragazza diceva di essere stata violentata dal coordinatore poco prima di essere operata e siccome aveva deciso di annullare l'intervento ha dovuto pagare lo stesso un tot di soldi... ; né ho parlato con chi mi stava seguendo nella scelta del dottore e mi ha rassicurato sul fatto che tutto ciò non è mai avvenuto. Ho iniziato a pensare: la ragazza può dire la verità come può dire bugie perché non contenta del fatto che il dottore non poteva accontentare le richieste menzionate dalla stessa perché impossibili e pericolose, quindi di conseguenza per dispetto ha iniziato a divulgare cose false x vendicarsi creando vari profili falsi per alimentare la cosa ( in molti fanno ciò per creare danni all' immagine e all' attività della persona che per noi non ci ha accontentato) come può essere che sia successo davvero e lo staff per non subire ripercussioni sull'attività e per salvare la faccia possano dire che non è vero, ha inventato tutto, ect... non essendo lì, non conoscendo nessuno ero in un limbo, allora ho deciso di rischiare. Sono arrivata a Instambul, sono stata trattata da vip con l'autista che mi veniva a prendere e portare dove dovevo andare, la traduttrice che mi seguiva in clinica, l'hotel che era come se fosse un appartamento, ero seguita costantemente dallo staff in tutte le fasi del mio percorso con umanità, gentilezza, professionalità facendomi sentire a casa, il menù super abbondante di 4 portate 😱 ( in Italia negli ospedali ti portano cose striminsite), mi sono rimasti tutti nel cuore; ho avuto un piccolo problema con la ferita mentre ero in hotel, subito è arrivata l'infermiera a risolvere tutto, senza aspettare un solo attimo e senza pensarci due volte; pensate che il dottore al controllo post operatorio giustamente doveva controllare il seno ma sapete che prima mi ha chiesto il permesso scusandosi? cosa che è normalità perché il chirurgo altrimenti come fa' a sapere se c'è qualcosa che non va.... quindi ora dico ma come cavolo si fa' a scrivere certe recensioni false verso uno staff che ti tratta col cuore, rispetto, umanità e professionalità. Il dottor Cem quando opera fa miracoli, ha mani d'oro, non potrei essere più felice della mia esperienza ma soprattutto della scelta del chirurgo... ci sono tanti chirurghi ma in quanti sono realmente bravi senza creare danni? In quanti preferiscono perdere un cliente per non mettere a rempetaglio la sua salute invece che di ottenere soldi? lui lavora con cuore e professionalità e vi posso dire che se volete il risultato che volete senza se e senza ma andate da lui perché di meglio non troverete in giro. Più avanti tornerò da lui per braccia e gambe, vi posso dire che non vedo l'ora perché grazie a lui sto realizzando il sogno di una vita, i risultati definitivi si vedranno tra 6 mesi ma vi posso dire che già così sono perfetta... provate per credere ❤️

I Review of Prof. Cem Yildirim – Surgery on 20.06.2025 had surgery with Prof. Cem Yildirim on June 20, 2025, for three different issues with my nose. The doctor managed to fix all of them, and the result is amazing – my nose looks really beautiful now!

This is the best hospital I’ve ever been to, with professional nurses and excellent customer service. The Professor assistant was also very kind and helpful throughout the entire process. They also have a great translator, which made communication easy.

I highly recommend this Professor– he is truly the best you can find!

Came to Mecy clinic to see Dr Cem Yildirim, got a 360 tummy tuck, 360 vaser lipo, BBL and a breast lift with implants, the whole experience has been extraordinary. I first contacted Tareq the consultant who has been amazing and so understanding and patient with me. I was picked up from airport but the driver (who was so sweet! Then I met the doctor who listened to my concerns and we decided a safer way of going through everything I want, he wanted the best for me and my health which was very good. After surgery I was shocked at my results, better than I could have ever imagined. Exactly what I had said I wanted but better. The nurses all checked up on me multiple times a day and tareq also messaged me with information and made sure I was getting everything I needed. The hospital was clean and tidy and comfortable and then I went to hotel and my god, comfortable beds and such nice food!! Everything has been truly amazing. Thank you Mecy, I will come back for the rest !!

The only reason I am giving a 4star is because no human in perfect. Otherwise I had a great experience with the Mecy Clinic team starting with Teraq. His prompt and detailed responses helped in the selection process of a Doctor Cem for my surgery.

My experience with Dr. Cem was unbelievably warm. He was very patient, professional and reassuring, I felt in safe hands. He visited me multiple times, sometimes twice a day, whilst Teraq and the other nurses despite the language barrier checked up on me. Their priority was my safety and how i was feeling( may I add I wasn't asked for the deposit before coming. .. Lol).

Overall, great experience.i am indeed happy.

Receiving cosmetic surgery overseas is not for the faint hearted. I strongly suggest travelling with a support person, and staying min 10 days for recovery.

I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr Cem who was amazing from start to finish. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and experienced. Dr Cem made sure I understood what procedures I was getting, what to expect, he gave me the opportunity to ask as many questions as I wanted as well as advise him of the outcome(s) I was expecting. Dr Cem is very well spoken in English, as is his team.

I also had the pleasure of being looked after by 2 amazing nurses from Dr Cems team, Shayma and Evrim. They went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. Took every precaution when changing dressings and removing drains. At a time when I felt most vulnerable, these beautiful nurses were there to comfort me and remind me they’re there to help.

We had an amazing English speaking liaison, Tareq, who handled the entire journey from start to finish. Tareq is extremely polite and knowledgeable in this space. From consultation stage to departure, Tareq was involved at every step to ensure we were well taken care of, and communicated with us regularly. He checked in regularly to make sure we had what we needed during recovery.

Hotel Stay was awesome, comfortable. Buffet breakfast each day. Plenty of food options and malls around. Staff very polite and welcoming.

My experience with Dr Cem Yildirim is an amazing one, he is incredibly knowledgeable and talented in aesthetic surgery.
But the experience is greater because of his whole team, starting for his assistant/liaison Tereq, who will give you a through examination even before your official consultation. the pickup driver from the airport, the nurses are amazing and comfortable to work with, and his follow-up appointment how they make you feel very comfortable and confident to through the procedure.

I will recommend him any day. And I’ll come back anytime if I need more work.

I canceled my surgery, they were getting mad when I wanted to read the papers I was signing saying stop acting like an Arab then when I finally did read one it was signing my organs away 😒 the co ordinator was also super unprofessional and trying to come to my room the first night then the following day sexually assaulted me in the hospital room by touching my boob and trying to rouch my vagina. The Dr and coordinator were yelling at eachother and getting aggressive with eachother and me.I got bad vibes and my gut was telling me not to do it.
