Hi Emily, thank you for sharing your experience. We're sorry you left feeling disappointed. We want to add important context for anyone reading this review.
1. On Leaving the Program
You chose to cancel before completing the full program. At that point, our team was still actively working to correct the parts of your strategy that were limiting your results. The process was not complete when you left, and our team had not stopped working with you.
2. On Support
During your time with us, you received 6 private 1:1 coaching sessions, group coaching, office hours, masterclasses, sales training, and asynchronous support. In your final four weeks, we placed a specialist directly into your DMs to book calls on your behalf. Unfortunately, that specialist could not perform effectively because you were simultaneously running separate conversations about a different strategy you had decided to pursue independently. This split the pipeline and directly limited what our setter could accomplish.
Our team can only diagnose problems we are informed of. The challenges you later described had not been raised through the coaching environments available to you, and you were not regularly attending group coaching where these issues would normally be identified and addressed.
3. On Strategy Changes
Part of coaching is testing assumptions against the market. We identified early on that directly reaching T1D patients through LinkedIn was not working. The people responding were often family members, not patients, and those conversations were not converting. Rather than continuing a strategy that was not producing results, we pivoted to targeting endocrinologists who could refer patients to you. What you experienced as "inconsistency" was our team actively adapting based on market data, which is coaching.
4. On Sales
We booked you many sales calls during the course of the program. The gap was not in lead volume, but in the sales conversations themselves. Our team provided feedback through call recordings, scorecards, Sales Residency training, and 1:1 sessions. What we cannot do is have those sales conversations on your behalf. Improvement in sales throughout this program requires studying the process, practicing it, and applying feedback consistently.
5. On the Guarantee
Our guarantee is conditional because we need a fair way to determine whether someone implemented the process before evaluating whether it failed. The Blunt Post requirement was listed in your Graduation Checklist from the beginning. It was not introduced after the fact. Each section outlines to-dos and expectations by week in the program. Each area is hyperlinked to the appropriate resource, with templates and additional information provided whenever possible.
If a client completes the required process and the system still does not work, we will uphold the guarantee. But we cannot evaluate the system as 'failed' when the process required to test it was not completed, and when our specialist's ability to perform was being actively limited by parallel activity in the same pipeline.
6. For Anyone Considering the Program
We agree that an investment of this size deserves due diligence.
We encourage anyone reading this review to look at both positive and negative experiences, ask us questions about what implementation requires, review our client interviews and case studies, and understand the responsibilities on both sides before making a decision.
Our responsibility is to provide systems, strategy, coaching, feedback, and support. The client's responsibility is to participate, communicate where they are struggling, and implement consistently.
We genuinely wish you success, Emily. We believe you learned valuable skills during your time with us, and we still believe those skills can help you build the business you set out to create if you continue applying and refining them.
