I like the product
I like the product. My son has greatly improved his skills. Their customer service is awesome as well.
ONE STAR
I bought it as a gift from my nephew and my niece, but I didn't know I was being charged with the membership. When you purchase the dribble products your automatically start upon receivement. Even though you're buying it for a gift. Please keep that in mind when you're purchasing dribble up products.

Lack of Clear Product Details Led to Frustration
I recently purchased a Smart Basketball and a Smart Soccer Ball from Dribbleup. Before ordering, I saw several online reviews and even a news article that mentioned a stand being included with the Smart Soccer Ball. Upon receiving my order, neither ball came with a stand. When I contacted customer service, I was initially told by "Ellaine" that stands were never included with these products. This was demonstrably false based on my research. It took multiple emails and providing evidence before they acknowledged that the inclusions had changed. While they eventually offered a discount on purchasing the stands separately, the initial misinformation and the lack of clear, current information on their website regarding product inclusions was a significant disappointment. This experience required considerable effort on my part to clarify and resolve. Potential customers should be cautious and verify directly with customer service what is currently included with their order, as the website and older reviews may not be accurate.

Very frustrating company to deal with
Ordered this for my son for Christmas as a basketball. The ball is very hard to dribble compared to a regular basketball, making the drills kind of pointless. The recurring monthly charge is very high, and they automatically sign you up for it the second you buy the thing. When you try to follow their directions in their emails, the pages the links take you to aren't correct. They're also rude, and super frustrating to work with.

Not worth the outrageous price of the membership. Ball tracking is terrible and the app is poorly designed not or easy to use or good. The skill leveling more than rec soccer. Haven’t seen any imporvement. Signed up thinking I was getting a year membership and got charged the next month. Don’t waste your money. Oh and the ball feel cheap and waste of $99! Stupid subscription based platform aimed at scamming their customers.

Deceptive Billing
My wife purchased the soccer ball for my nephew over 3 years ago. She had no idea she signed up for recurring monthly charges. Finally, she canceled after I brought this to her attention. No need to hear a response from this company about how they make it clear and up front. As you can see from many reviews, this is a common deception reported by a multitude of duped customers.

Make sure you read the fine print..... I didn't and luckily noticed a reoccurring charge on my credit card... I purchased this for my grandson, and did not see the ongoing fee. I think this company needs to be more transparent with their extremely high monthly charges. It is a very cool concept, but I would not have purchased this knowing the ongoing subscription costs.....

Beware! They Threaten and Bully their customers
If I could rate this company -10 I would. I bought this basketball for my grandson for Christmas. We have not had a chance (it is Feb 4th) to install the software on my grandson's phone. We have not installed or opened the software yet. It was on my bucket list, but the family has been battling the flu ever since Christmas and we just haven't gotten around to it - So I received threatening emails from this company because the billing did not go thru. I had my credit card compromised and I had the card cancelled and I did not update my new info yet. After I got the 2nd threatening email from them - I told them to CANCEL. I do not appreciate being threatened or bullied. Can't tell you how the program is - because we never had a chance to try it out. If they just would have waited a little longer until I had a moment to install the software and create the log on info - I probably would be a long-term customer - but I will not tolerate threats. I do not recommend this company. I do not recommend buying this basketball. They are impatient and try to bill you whether or not you have had the time to set up the account. Its not like we were never going to set up the account - its why I bought the stupid ball to begin with. My thoughts, if this is how they treat customers -they can keep it! I will find something else for my grandson - actually, there is a basketball that helps them learn how to shoot. I will buy that ball. This one is going in the garbage.

Horrible, Terrible, And A Scam
My mom bought a dribbleup basketball, which was very expensive, and now it’s a whole week late for shipping! I am extremely disappointed. I’m just a kid!!! Can’t they do anything about this? Don’t bother wasting your money on this terrible scam. I am still waiting for them to deliver it. I was so hyped about this and thought it would help me practice more, but I don’t even know what its like!!! Stay away to avoid flushing your money down the drain.

Easy to sign up, HARD to cancel
They have designed a user experience that makes it extremely easy to sign up, but nearly impossible to cancel. I simply could not locate my account, nor could I reach someone to try to cancel. After several attempts, I have to notify my credit card to put a stop to their charge.
UPDATE: After spending time with their customer service on line, and giving them my payment info, they were able to track down my account and cancel it. However, they could have avoided all of these problems if they simply do one thing: show what the 'customer ID' is on their APP, and allow the user to look up their account info using their customer ID. This will be able to solve all of the above problems that I have mentioned. The fact that they didn't, and yet make you jump through the hoops (and spending the time) with customer service just to cancel a recurring charge, still leads me to believe that they intentionally make it hard for you to leave their service, and so my original review stands.

I canceled my account 2 years ago
I canceled my account 2 years ago, not aware a 2nd account was made by a child in the home until recently. When I requested a manager, as it is clear a child made the account by the username and email, they said there is not a manager and they will not refund me for the account my 7-year-old made.

A great return experience
After purchasing 2 soccer DribbleUp balls for my granddaughters, I learned that they were designed to be used in conjunction with a monthly membership fee that I could not afford on a fixed income. It took only one email to cancel the subscription, get a return label and return the balls with free shipping. Seamless and simple.

Awesome concept and product
Thank you folks so very much a fantastic idea I bought a basketball and soccer ball for two girls they love it. They can’t wait to get back at their games in school and sports clubs. It has helped them immensely with their confidence playing.
As for the product it is both eye catching and very well made. Kids absolutely love the colors makes it easier to see on screen. It is a little difficult to follow on just an iPhone but absolutely great on a tablet or iPad. It hasn’t impaired using DribbleUp just makes for easier viewing especially outside.
Customer service was fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful. I ordered the product early November but didn’t want the subscription to start till Christmas Day it was exactly as planne. There was a little hiccup when registering second child but I honestly think it was something I did either way company was very apologetic and it was rectified within minutes.
I think this to be an awesome concept and product the girls love it and also agree it has helped them with their game and makes it fun to practice even without a teammate.
DribbleUp keep up the good work I look forward to other products from your company.

Turns out my wife ordered the basketball and somehow signed up, thinking she was just putting in info for buying the ball. They could not find it because it was my wife’s email and not mine. Finally got the credit card ok. But, too many people have showed this same sign up problem so it would be good to show an easy way out after buying the ball. Thanks

It's a really neat concept but unless you have a tablet, It's hard to follow along as instruction and tracking are done through the app.
