Wir haben am 05.04.2026 im Holiday Inn Express Berlin City Hotel zwei Schirme geliehen. 2€ für 48 Stunden pro Schirm sollten es sein. Am nächsten Tag 06.04.2026 bei Abreise haben wir die Schirme zurückgestellt. Also Ausleihzeit war nicht einmal 24 Stunden. Jedoch am 10.04.26 wurden uns 2x 18€ von Konto abgezogen, obwohl wir die Schirme rechtzeitig zurückgestellt hatten.

Excelente servicio al cliente, en especial agradecimiento a Anne Eickenberg por resolver el caso de que mi sombrilla fue "sustraida" de un museo donde entramos, y al salir ya no estaba la sombrilla que yo habia rentado, en servicio al cliente rapidamente me atendieron y no me aplicaron la penalizacion ni el cargo por el dia de renta de la sombrilla, al dia siguiente renté otra sombrilla y no tuve problema alguno!

What a great idea we found them very useful and easy to use. They should be available everywhere. And I will definitely use again if they are in any other hotel I stay in! Good to know they are made from recycled plastic bottles as well!

The only reason that I dropped a star is because I did have an issue with an additional charge upon returning the Umbrella but this was sorted through their support.

Great idea, and equally great customer service! I returned the umbrella about 3 minutes over the 48 hour time limit. I contacted customer service to apologize and explain, and Natalia promptly and politely reversed the £18 charge for me.

Other than the great convenience and idea for umbrella availability,
The customer service is very responsive, and answered my message quickly and efficiently.

It's a great idea to have these umbrella's available at the hotel's entrance, even in Italy. Umbrella was in perfect state, at a fair price of €3.
There was only one issue, when my bank account was charged with an additional fee of € 17 for not returning the umbrella, while I had returned it the same day.
I see in other reviews I'm not the only one in that case, so this looks like something to improve.
But after contacting their Customer Service, they immediately refunded me, including the original renting fee. So great customer service!!!

I rented an umbrella using this service from a hotel near Paddington. Great idea and reasonable value at £3.
However, having returned the umbrella the next day to the doorman, who I saw re-rack the umbrella, I was charged an extra £17.
I contacted support once I eventually was given their email address via the hotel who said they’d refund, which did happen though it did take a week to get to me.
Nice idea but do ensure the umbrella is checked back correctly to ensure you avoid similar inconvenience.

I rented an umbrella in London. The convenience was remarkable. The DRIPDROP station was by the door and takes a few seconds to pay and pick an umbrella.
The customer service was even better - I ran into an issue where I was charged the £18 fee and the refund was promptly processed.

Absolutely great idea especially in Ireland! So convenient and such a lifesaver for many. I used one last week in a hotel with no shops beside it so this was a brilliant plus when I seen their umberella station. I rented an umbrella directly from the London hotel because it was raining outside and I didn’t have one with me. Drip Drop umbrellas were a great help — they were easy to get with contactless payment and cost only £2. The umbrella can also be conveniently returned. A quick and convenient solution for rainy days. ☂️😇

The umbrella I rented was in perfect condition. And the support I received after I returned my umbrella late was really good as well! Will definitely rent one again in the future :-)

Absoluter Scam. Waren im Leonardo Royal Hotel in Düsseldorf, dort stand auf Englisch take with you or keep it und ein Preis von 3€. Nirgends wurde etwas von Zusatzkosten erwähnt. Absolute Frechheit, werde auch an die Verbraucherzentrale schreiben.

Absolute rip off. It said in big letters 2GBP per umbrella. I did return the umbrellas a little too late. Was charged over 40GBP for two umbrellas (one slightly broken already) on top. Never again!!!

This company is untrustworthy. We used the service but were charged €17 even though we returned it within 24 hours. I use my Debit card a lot and would rarely check my card in detail for all the transactions. This €17 would have easily been missed only for the off chance of looking at my bank statement. Only use this service if you make sure to check that you haven’t been overcharged. Definitely a scam based on the recurrence of a similar issue by other reviewers

I had an issue with my return which led to me being charged a penalty fee. There was a very simple to use refund form on the company website which I completed. Within 24 hours I was contacted by the company who offered a full refund and a genuine apology. This brolly service is an excellent idea and it appears that the company really does value its customers.
