2nd time booked a car and the agency change the pick up location and then cancelled it
Yango doesn’t help its customers at all

I booked a car almost 12 hours in advance for a 4:00 PM pickup, but just before the scheduled time, I was informed that no car was available. This completely ruined my plans.

After contacting Yango support, they took around 4 hours to arrange an alternative and confirmed the booking. However, at around 9:00 PM, another driver called and again said no car was available.

This was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend Yango to anyone who needs a reliable or urgent booking.

Bad experience with unprofessional driver

Dear Yango Customer Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to formally report an unpleasant experience I encountered during my recent trip from Le Méridien to Emirates Plaza Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Since arriving in the UAE on 14th February as a visitor, I have had consistently positive experiences with drivers from various nationalities. Unfortunately, this particular trip did not reflect the usual standards of professionalism I have experienced.

During the ride, the driver repeatedly asked for my personal details, which made me uncomfortable. He also appeared to drive unnecessarily slowly, possibly extending the trip duration. When I inquired about how to contact Yango for feedback, I was not provided with accurate guidance. I missed my Sahoor because of this driver and did not drink water as well and whole day I need to do fast.

Additionally, I observed the driver eating while driving, using his mobile phone, and presenting himself in an unprofessional manner. These behaviors raised concerns regarding both service quality and safety. As a result, I felt dissatisfied with the overall experience and believe I unnecessarily incurred additional fare charges (approximately AED 25). I told him clearly I want to go to Emirate Plaza but he purposely took me from another route and try to misguide me to take me to Emirate Crown. He dropped me to Emirate Plaza at 4:45 am, the driver was from Bangladesh and with very filthy grooming and no personal hygiene at all.

As a customer, I value safety, professionalism, and respectful communication. I trust Yango maintains high service standards, which is why I felt it important to bring this matter to your attention for review and appropriate action.

Never subscribe to anything Yango related!

I have subscribed to Yango Plus/Yango Play to get the 30 % rides chargeback. I have never received any chargeback on any of my finished rides ordered via Yango app. I have contacted Yango Taxi support, they have pointed me to Yango Play support and there they found out I should have received a compensation. But I never received any. Now I am in an infinite loop of going between Yango Taxi and Yango Play supports of who is responsible to handle that. Seems like no one. Never use this service, you have been warned!

Worst experience ever with Yango in Dubai

I've had the worst experience I've ever had with a rental company through Yango. The company is Al Asad Rental in Dubai. It's horrible. They did not arrive with the car on time. I had to return the car one week before schedule and asked them to come pick it up. They confirmed they'd pick it up 6 PM the next day, they didn't. They kept asking for money for different things including washing the car (the car wasn't clean when I got it).

Yango's customer service tried to help but it's pointless, the real problem is their choice of partners.

Typical commission agent mentality and


They have a typical commission agent mentality, and they totally act like one. Most of what they are offering is not straightforward; make sure you read the lengthy terms and conditions page before booking a rental car through these charlatans. You will find really attractive deals, but it’s not what it seems like. They advertise or list a 2025 car that you pay for or something similar from the same group if it's not available, which is fair enough. But they delivered a 2023 model car, and when I objected, Yango did their Tango and said I should have read the hidden terms & conditions page that says they can deliver a car that is up to 3 years older. what a joke and a trap :) After driving the car for 1 day, it started making strange noises with warnings of no gear fluid and overinflated tires. I asked them to replace the car. Yango only responds by WhatsApp, and they have preset WhatsApp messages; no matter what you write, most of the time the response is one of these messages. Rarely, someone would respond, and you'd feel it's a human. The rent-a-car company they hooked me up with is called Fast Track Rent A Car. DO NOT USE THEM unless you love torturing yourself. It seems they don't have any intention to help me. I will wait till tomorrow; otherwise, I will file an official complaint with the Consumer Protection Department of the Dubai Economic Department (DED).

If there was a no star option I would give it to them for sure.Paid for a car 2025 model(monthly rental) and brought me 2023 model , which was dangerous to drive,just by saying that the one I have booked for was not available .When I sent them proof of how dangerous the car was,they had me waiting to change the car for another for 2 days(again 2023) and didn’t want to refund me!Run as far away as possible!
The reply of the company is only for people in public to see!I have contacted them already and they don’t want to resolve anything. I hope the consumer complaints department will work things out for me and for all the other unlucky customers.Companies like that should close for good
Ps.If there is any way I can upload the video of the car they gave me,please let me know.

Terrible

I booked a car more than one month in advance, with confirmed delivery scheduled in Abu Dhabi. Despite this, no one contacted me, and when I followed up myself, they said no car was available at all and that maybe a car could be delivered tomorrow.

This is extremely unprofessional and completely unacceptable. If you cannot manage your reservations, you should not allow customers to book in the first place. I planned my schedule and commitments based on this booking and was seriously inconvenienced.

What makes this even worse is that instead of taking responsibility, they suggested they could “check with other providers.” That is not the customer’s problem—it is the company’s responsibility to deliver what was promised.

I do not recommend this service under any circumstances. Total lack of reliability, poor management, and complete disrespect for customers’ time.

​I’ve never had such a nightmare


​I’ve never had such a nightmare experience with a rental. Yango (via Al Asad) is currently withholding £2,500 of my money.

​It’s been nearly two months and I still haven't seen my deposit. After a month of stalling, they actually lied and said the transfer was done, it wasn't. I’m still waiting with no sign of my funds despite dozens of messages.

​Beyond the money, the service was a joke. They showed up 4 hours late to drop the car off and several hours late to pick it up, which basically killed two days of my holiday. Not a single apology. I even went out of my way to return the car spotless and fully fueled, only to be treated like this.

​Save yourself the stress and the money. Avoid this scam operation at all costs.

The worst application ever

The worst application ever. I booked a car and paid 170 aed for reservation. I booked two weeks before so it wasnt last minute booking. On the day when i supposed to get a car the rent a car company didnt replied to me for a address pick up. When i contacted Yango they told me my car is renter and they will give me some similar car but they dont know what model. I didnt accept that because i need exact model to drive and later buy the same model.
I asked for refund from Yango and after more than 10 days they told me my case is not applicable for refund because i was offered the similar car.
Dont book through this app because you will lose deposit and you will get unproffecional service from both, Yango and rent a car agency.

This is one of the worst app


This is one of the worst app experiences I’ve had. The company repeatedly changes prices after the payment method is selected and charges extra with absolutely no justification. This is not a one-time issue—it has happened multiple times.

Customers are not given control over their payment method, and even when the full agreed amount is paid (by card or cash), the rate is still altered. This practice is misleading and completely unacceptable.

After several bad experiences, I have lost all trust in this service. I have uninstalled the app and will never recommend it to anyone. Use this app at your own risk.

Extremely disappointing

Extremely disappointing. I lost an entire day of my trip because of their miscommunication and lack of help. I made the booking for the car rental, paid, sent them the documents and the booking was confirmed. I contacted them on WhatsApp to double check with a real person. Their representative assured me that all I had to do was wait for the car to be delivered to my location. After hours and hours of delays the rental company asked me to resend the documents that I already provided to Yango.Why? Because yango did not forward them my license and passport! So I have to the process all over again with the rental company. I was supposed to get the car early in the morning. I had plans for the day laid out. Turns out I lost my whole day because they could deliver the car after 5 pm. My booking was 10 am. Yango said this is normal, and if I cancelled I’d be forced to oblige with their “cancellation policy” aka pay them regardless. Worst rental experience ever

AVOID USING!!!!!

AVOID USING!!!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I was told by Yango customer service if I wanted to keep the booking to share a digital copy of my credit card and “just hide the CVV” to the rental company, which was a VERY uncomfortable request for me to do. This also raised concerns about their data protection practices! Both Yango and the Car Rental company canceled last minute with no solution and blaming me for not reading the "terms and conditions" because it had said I need to share my card details and just "hide the CVV". My reservation was cancelled less than two hours before vehicle handover. I had urgent business meetings and explicitly explained that I needed the car. Customer support was completely unhelpful and offered no guarantee replacement or alternative or solution. They instead sent a WhatsApp saying your car has been canceled!

Very unprofessional, worst service and most unreliable platform I have ever used.

They canceled the booking one hour before I get the car and they didn’t want to refund me when I asked to book another car I showed them from app and I saw the full price when they booked for me it was totally different price which is more .
