Great Day Andrew really is a good coach: Patient articulate knowledgeable. Breaking down the Technics and then recompose them on the track is invaluable ! The mx5 is a great car for learning has you feel straight away when you didn’t get technique right

The approach of the instructor, Joe, along with the friendliness and the space given on the circuit, is second to none. One of the most useful, fun, interesting days I have had. I now have aspects to work on, with a structured way of achieving them, be it on the road, or on the track. Well worth the money. If I could go again straight away, I would.

It does exactly what it says on the tin ! The course is first class learning. The ground covered is exactly what I needed and took me much further in my car control. A great experience.

Real eyeopener, learned a lot!

Had a great day, weather could have been kinder but that did not affect the instruction, Andrew was very nice, all very clear instruction, very informative and helpful.

I took the Driver61 training with Scott last weekend. I learned more in three days than I have in the entire last year. Scott is a professional in every sense of the word and I can’t imagine a program that I would have found more helpful for improving my driving. On top of the learning, I had so much fun I didn’t want to leave. I can’t say enough good things about Driver61 - highly recommend!

Great day with Scott, perfect way to get back up to speed after the winter break and before testing in my March. The way he coaches builds great confidence and builds a platform for self leaning throughout the season.

As an amateur driver focused on improving my track day performances I recently attended a two day course with Driver61. Andrew, my instructor, was very knowledgeable, patient and clearly communicated the techniques that he was trying to teach me. I found that the course, true to the online video’s I had reviewed several times for free prior to my earlier track days, was focused on the very same technical points Scott has so well outlined in his videos. The repetitive practice of the same techniques in real time with the instructor commenting on your technique while sitting right beside you clearly helps to ingrain the technique into your driving. I look forward to implementing some of my new found skills into my regular driving and also into my next track day. I highly recommend ALL drivers who wish to improve their overall driving capabilities to watch the videos and then take some courses with Driver61 to put the theory into practice. Happy safe driving everyone.

I've had just one season. I'm in racing for fun, and I'm never going to be brilliant. One fear I had was that an expensive driver coach who is routinely paid a lot just to accompany professional teams and coach their drivers, was going to be disinterested in someone like me. Nothing could be further from the reality - Andrew was focussed, pleasant and hugely informative.

I already understood much of the theory, but just couldn't get it to work. For example, I'd often miss the apex of a corner. Andrew Bailey for Driver61 was first class in clearly showing me what I had to do to make things work. In addition, it was a great environment with an empty airfield, a few cones to destroy, and plenty of space to get it wrong so I could concentrate on what I had to do rather than worry about the consequences of getting it wrong (and I did get it wrong quite a few times).

When I can afford it, and I've practised what I've learnt and no doubt introduced some new errors all of my own, I will definitely be back to driver61, and I'm very happy to recommend them, except to anyone on the same grid as me!

I thoroughly enjoyed the coaching session with Andrew. It was an eye opening experience. Andrew did not focus on lines or speed as he wanted to go to the very basic items and build up from there. I have some work to do to apply all the learning and more importantly to apply the items together. I felt the same way as when I took ski lessons when I found that what was holding me back was some bad habits and that the good technique was something very simple in the end.
Andrew is a great coach. His approach is smooth and he teaches with small steps with clear explanations of what he is trying to convey.
I wish I had done this 20 or 30 years ago...

Clear, concise, understandable and very good. Puts order to what you know, what you think you know and what you don't know and gives you a route map, if not the tools as well to put it all in to practice. I fully expect my lap times to improve.

Scott is a natural teacher who has an exceptional ability to analyse, understand and explain the interaction between car and driver and then translate that into clear instructions, support and encouragement during very enjoyable one to one coaching sessions.
Driver61 masterclasses represent an extremely worthwhile investment for any race driver wishing to maximise their potential.

Brilliant, can`t find fault, would recommend to everyone I know

I have now completed 14 hours on track with Driver 61 programme. It's full-time on-track, total immersion! The theory is given while driving, no wasting time in classrooms. From awareness of my shortcomings that for years have been on the blind spot to being able in just under 20 hours to get to the level that I am now, is incredible. I could not believe when I saw the data!
Plus, I had some of the best times ever on a track!

What an outstanding day! Scott is an excellent teacher and coach and has a way of both explaining and demonstrating advanced concepts easily. I learnt so much in the space of a few hours and genuinely walked away with a stronger knowledge of my own capabilities, of advanced vehicle dynamics as well as a few methods to get the best out of both! Can’t wait to come back for another session... well done Scott and good luck with the business - from what I experienced there is no reason your new Driver61 initiative shouldn’t be an enormous success... because there’s nothing out there like it!

I truly cannot believe how helpful my days training with Scott was.
I learned techniques today that opened my eyes, and re-educated me in a manner I was not expecting.
If I successfully apply them to my amateur racing, I’m confident my lap times and race results can only improve.

What a Brilliant day. I realised today I have been doing it wrong for years, Scott defiantly taught me more than I expected, he is very informative and great at teaching.

I would say if you have a long drive it it is worth staying over the night before if you can because it was very hands on day with non stop driving and being on the limit.

5 star from me and I would recommend this to anyone, especially if your looking to get faster, have more control and feel out of a car.

An excellent day from start to finish.
Scott has given me the tools to reduce lap times, thus move up the grid by demonstrating, explaining and coaching the various skills covered during the day.
I will certainly be back for more coaching next year.
