I used your car on February and it was a great experience, I will use your service in the future and I will recommend here in Jordan.

Abholung am Flughafen des SUVs im großen Parkhaus - erfordert etwas Absprache, ist aber leicht zu finden. Fahrzeug war top in Schuss, sauber, wenig Kilometer runter. Habe zwischendurch paar Tage verlängert, gleich damit die Maut bezahlt (Fahrzeug ist getaggt und wird automatisch an den Mautstellen registriert), war alles völlig problemlos. Support via WhatsApp stets schnell erreicht, super-freundlich. Abgabe simpel: Treffpunkt im Parkhaus am Airport direkt gefunden, Fahrzeug-Übergabe binnen fünf Minuten. Bestens. Erstattung der Kaution 2000 Dirham abzüglich Maut etc. erfolgte binnen weniger Tage. Bei Drivus würde auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This has been the worst car hire company in Dubai so far. Booked a car for 3 weeks. They left me with a faulty car the first week, saying they had no replacement, and every day I asked. I had to contact the agent DiscoverCars, and only then did Drivus reply with a car replacement offer. Now is a month after returning the car, and I am still waiting for my deposit. They just ignore my messages. I had to go through DiscoverCars, and AMEX claims just to get my deposit back! I warn you people, don't even think about them. All goes well, until it doesn't! Adding my reaction to the answer from DRIVUS: I would rather have the original car I booked than a faulty upgraded car. Not having a replacement for a week?! When I came to your office, there were plenty of cars around...easy solution - give me a different car for a day, fix the fault, and get me my car back! You hardly replied to my messages asking for a replacement, only when I complained to DiscoverCars did you take some action. Moreover, after bringing the faulty car with a half tank, you wanted to charge me for a full tank at the end...this was waived after I complained that I wasted my time and money going all the way to your office to get the new car and driving back! Moreover, NO compensation offered for a week wasted with your faulty car. And my deposit? You say this was because of the bank transfer waiting time?! If I did not message you, email you and call you constantly after my deposit was delayed for 3 weeks, I am not sure how much longer it would take!

My issue has been resolved by customer support on 2nd April 2026.

A Massive Waste of Time and Money

I strongly advise anyone traveling to Dubai to steer clear of this company. My experience was a month-long saga of frustration, incompetence, and what feels like a total scam.
🚩 The "Airport Office" Deception
They do not have a physical office at the airport. Instead, you are forced to wander through a massive, scorching car park to find a representative. It is unprofessional and a terrible way to start a trip.
🚩 Bait-and-Switch Vehicles
I did not receive the car I booked. Over the course of several days, they swapped the vehicle three times. Every "replacement" they brought was:
• Incredibly old and high-mileage.
• Mechanically unsound and, in my opinion, not roadworthy.
• Filthy and poorly maintained.
After wasting three days of my vacation dealing with their breakdowns, I was eventually forced to settle for an ancient Citroen that was a far cry from what I paid for.
🚩 Deposit Nightmare (The 2,000 AED Trap)
They insisted on a 2,000 AED security deposit upfront. It has been over a month since I returned the car, and I have yet to see a single cent of that money back. They are holding my funds hostage despite the car being returned.
Final Verdict
Since I have booked via Discover Cars, they need to investigate this partner immediately. Their contract should be terminated for providing substandard, dangerous vehicles and failing to process refunds.

Horrible company to deal with. The worst service I have experienced in Dubai and basically feels like a scam.

Paid for a 7 seater, received a 5 seater with the promise that we would get the 7 seater along with a baby car seat. After days of contacting and false promises, it never arrived..the car we paid for! So we had to make do with inconvenience. We were also scammed into getting additional insurance which was not needed as we had booked with FULL COVERAGE. They took advantage of the fact that my husband picked up the car but I had booked it on his behalf.

When we complained, they are using the 'difficult times' as an excuse for shoddy service.

I would not recommend Drivus to anyone.

After my rental in Oman, I was told my deposit would be returned within 30 days. Nearly 80 days later, I am still waiting. I have sent multiple messages and received no proper response.

Keeping a customer’s deposit for months and then ignoring them is unacceptable.

This has been a very frustrating experience and has completely destroyed my trust in this company. I am now forced to escalate the matter through formal complaint channels.

Be very cautious before booking with them.

The car was very clean, in excellent condition, and exactly as described. Pickup and drop-off were smooth and quick. The prices were reasonable and there were no hidden fees.
