Brought from DroidUK twice now, one for my 3 series and one for my X3 Series.

Clear communication, easy installation guide, took me 30 minutes to get it installed on X3.

Would recommend again!

Fitted the mmi box to my x5 works a treat customer service was very good aswell helped me when I was stuck

I had a minor issue with the MMI unit which wasn't Droids fault, my installer hadn't set the unit up correctly so the reverse camera wasn't working. I contacted Droid and they responded very quickly, told me how to alter the settings and the unit now works perfectly. This is a great upgrade for my car as I now have Google Maps and Spotify and a host of other features which I didn't have before. Highly recommend this company and their products.

I thought I'd give an honest review, before anyone takes the plunge.
If you absolutely CAN get Carplay coded for your BMW, then do so.
This works but has serious limitations.
If you can't get coded, just buy the cheaper Chinese ones from Aliexpress, they're exactly the same, just rebranded.
I have mine fitted in an F39 2018 X2 because I did not have a wi-fi port on the rear of my HU (EntryNav2).
I honestly wished I'd shelled out on a good 2nd hand HU an then coded using bimmerremote.
The Carplay system works but is very laggy, looses GPS data, so freezes, looses connection so doesn't always start up and it is an absolute nightmare to get any sound to come through the car, so now I just use it without sound.
The freezing is a known issue, but all the response I got was, try a different app, try a different phone.
So, would I recommend? No
Would I buy another? If I HAD to, but I'd but a cheap one from aliexpress.

Bought an MMI box for my E92 and works amazing.
Had a little trouble wiring it all with no instructions, however after care and support are immaculate. Even a week after purchase the team was there to help my needs and provide the information I required!!

Installed the CarPlay box into my 2 series the other day and love it, not had a single issue. Was easy to install and has all the features. Works perfectly with the car and has amazing sound quality, great price too when taking all the other companies selling them online. Highly recommend, very good communication from the them too.

Bought an MMI box for my partners E84

Works fine, but the absolute lack of fitting instructions or troubleshooting is a joke.

I had the dip settings set wrong, I got a general electronics failure. No huge issue, but an A4 sheet with common issues would have stopped my heart attack

They’re good to reply on WhatsApp, but other than that, it’s a generic Chinese box, they’re all exactly the same

If I was to purchase again I wouldn’t use Droid UK

When I had a Volvo I used Integrated Automotive and they were 10x better

I bought a screen for my BMW and just after a year the screen started flickering intermittently I messaged droid on there WhatsApp and they got back to me right away. Asking me to send it back although my screen was out of warranty I received it back all fixed and updated as well. DROIDS customer service was extremely helpful and I would recommend them anybody. They are extremely professional and a great company. Thank you droid

Had my screen fitted in by Javaad who works for Droid UK. Very professional and got the job done within the hour. I upgraded from a small screen to their Mercedes A class compatible 12.3” screen and it was the best decision made.
The screen works perfectly and everything is running smoothly with no lags or delays. They stayed in contact whilst I was waiting for the screen to be ordered and got the job done instantly on the day I booked for.
Really good customer service and support… would definitely recommend and will be using Droid Uk again for any other needs.

bought a screen for my E60 from droiduk after buying a cheaper one elsewhere. droiduk were very helpful when I rang them up to purchase. even sent it next day free of charge. screen was easy to fit with good instructions. sound quality is good and the screen works without any faults at all using either the screens system or android auto. would recommend them to anyone

The head unit I purchased for my BMW F30 is unreal. The service received was fantastic from start to finish and the after sales service is second to none! Droid UK are the best out there for top quality goods. I purchased optional extras also such as DAB, GPS and Boot camera. All top quality at an affordable price. I can’t fault Droid and will definitely use them again as well as recommending them to friends and colleagues.

Great experience. Arrived quickly, easy to install and came with clear instructions once purchased. A few issues with sound quality but the support team replied after hours with a few settings to change and it worked a dream.
Carplay along with screen mirroring/youtube work really well and its easy/quick to switch between iDrive/MMI.

Great android system and after service , I've messaged them just over a year after buying mine and still have customer support which many brands won't acknowledge. You get what you pay for, premium products A+ support. The android units are also fast and give your car a much more modern feel.

Never wright reviews but thought this company deserved one from start to finish customer service brilliant. was at end of phone every time we encountered a problem which was no fault of there's. Highly recommended

After looking around at some different MMI boxes, I settled on DroidUK.

WhatsApp support was fantastic, and all of my questions were answered. Package arrived quickly with clear instructions and installation took around 3 hours for a first timer.
I had to code in AUX input, but DroidUK were very helpful with this, and continued to provide support.

`Unit worked fine for just under 2 years, then started to pack in and show 'no signal' on the screen. Support say that the box is 'old', and have offered a software update, but this may make things worse, or may kill the unit completely. They are replying, and are polite, but 2 year lifetime on a product like this is ridiculous.

Unit is ok. Had a little trouble with fitting it got there in the end. Had to have 1 unit replaced as the screen didn’t work which they said I must have broken but I didn’t not (I have plenty of experience with car electrics). Eventually they replaced it. New unit works pretty well but the mic volume is low and occasionally the idrive controller stops working which I’ve been told is my car and no one else does it and if I want to sort the mic problem I need to buy an additional mic. Getting a bit boring being blamed for all the faults.

Bought an MMI box for my BMW. I wasn't able to fit it due to a problem with my BMW and the guys refunded me the next day. Very pleased with their service.
