We switched to Drool pâté some time ago for our dog, Benji. He absolutely loves it – as do all the other extended family's dog who wolf it down then they visit (much to his disgust)!

Recently I ordered some additional treats (without 'she-who must be obeyed's knowledge). The treats were not suitable for him so I needed to return them.

I followed the online process, as requested, and within an hour or so received a follow-up email from Shaun, one of the directors, saying a refund would be issued once the unopened products were received.

As stated, within a couple of days, I received notification of receipt and the refund arrived promptly.

I saw a few negative comments on Trustpilot for Drool but, from my experience, I think they are a great company!

I'd give this company zero stars if I could. Despite emails and leaving voicemail I'm still waiting on reply for 2 dog allergy tests that I now believe they are not capable of doing. Company is a rip off. Steer clear.

They do not answer phone; you can only leave voice messages or they ask for a Fax (in 2026...can you believe it..) . Paid for fast delivery and promised delivery days ago. No response to emails.

My only concern with the raw food is how do they sell such a high quality product so cheaply? IMO a match for any raw food out there but at a budget price, my dogs prefer it to foods twice the price.

My frozen dog food order was due to be delivered on the Friday , it didn't arrive until Sunday . The order was defrosted , discoloured, leaking and smelt unpleasant. It clearly hadn't been kept refrigerated . I have sent two emails to Drool and had no response . There is absolutely no chance I would order from Drool again .

I tried a new brand of dog food to try cut down on costs. I only fed my girl a small amount along side her other food and it’s made her poorly! I purchased the free flow mince. Once it arrived I couldn’t see the fat content on any of the minces or on the website. Their compact mince does show it and it’s to high! I’ve emailed drool as they don’t provide a contact number. They replied vaguely to my first email then completely ignored me! Such a bad company for raw feeding. Good luck if there is an issue with you’re order to!

Ok I’m amending my review because aside from the fact they don’t have any customer service of any kind so don’t respond to emails their products are fantastic. They also use DPD who don’t appear to care for refrigerated packages but I’ll review them separately. Drool raw is fabulous. My dog now eats both breakfast and dinner. I don’t have to cover food in treats to get him to eat it. He actually sits by his bowl and waits for me to put his food in it. He cleans that bowl so there isn’t a bit left. They have bigger bags and smaller packs to suit any freezer and a variety of budgets. They don’t appear to add chicken to everything as my dog can only eat duck, beef and tripe. The pates are also great. Give them a chance. They also usually dispatch next day which is great.
