Olaf is a great guy. Super helpful and friendly. Made an awesome canvas strap for my Pam. I love that it’s 100% handmade out of an old duffle bag. The quality of the strap is baffling. Even the box it came with shows pure attention to detail. On top of that a small hand written note to show his gratitude. This dude shows Craftsmanship, Love and Passion for what he is doing! Would buy any day anytime again!

Very nice personal strap. Olaf contacted me about what I had in mind and we spent some time detailing the design. He made the single leather NATO strap according to spec. In fact, it is better than anticipated.

Ik heb door Olaf van Dstrap een horlogebandje op maat laten maken voor mijn Seiko Presage en ben ontzettend tevreden. Olaf nam echt de tijd om naar mijn wensen te luisteren en dacht actief mee.

Vanwege mijn allergieën was de materiaalkeuze extra belangrijk; hierin heeft hij super zorgvuldig meegedacht. Ik kreeg zelfs de mogelijkheid om het materiaal thuis op de huid te testen, zodat ik zeker wist dat ik geen reactie zou krijgen. Dat vond ik echt topservice.

Daarnaast is er een ruime keuze in materialen en stiksels, en is Olaf erg vriendelijk en prettig in de omgang. Vakmanschap én persoonlijke aandacht — absoluut een aanrader!

The watch hadn't been worn for ten years because it's unique strap was broken and we couldn't find a replacement.
Then we found Dstrap. Olaf invited us to his workshop where he measured and drew the exact shape from the broken pieces. He spent an hour showing us material after material until we found the exact right one.
Olaf made a better-than-original strap, and the watch is very happily being worn again.

As a watch enthusiast for over 25 years I found out that finding a good watch is much easier than finding a good strap. Too thick, too thin, too supple... I've wasted quite a bit of money on straps that may have looked good, but didn't quite live up to things on the wrist. I had seen some pictures of DStraps on the Dutch watch forum and decided to get in touch... and I'm glad I did!
Olaf has been phenomenal; very friendly, professional and he helped me get some amazing straps for my watches at a reasonable price. Sure, you can find some cardboard leather straps on AliExpress for cheap, but DStrap is the real deal and worth every penny.
But perhaps most importantly, buying watches is a silly hobby, so it's all about having fun. Olaf made the whole process a lot of fun, while having some nice chats. Plus I now finally, truly enjoy wearing my U-Boat and VDBs again.
