Jeg sendte mine hjul retur til DT Swiss, da de var omfattet af deres tilbagekaldelse. Da jeg skulle afsted på cykelferie, håbede jeg derfor, at få dem tilbage relativt hurtigt. Desværre var mine hjul 'beskadigt', men efter at have snakket i telefon med dem, tilbød de mig et helt nyt hjulsæt og oven i købet et bedre et - helt gratis. Desuden blev mine hjul leveret 4 dage før min rejse, så selvom tiden var knap, handlede DT Swiss hurtigt, hjalp mig og gav mig helt nye hjul, som jeg helt sikkert bliver glad for :-)

I had a problem with a Rear XRC1200 and they replaced me the wheel within 1+1/2 week.

They have a magnificent customer service and I’m pleased that I bought this pair of wheels.

Leider bekommt man keine Antwort vom Kundenservice obwohl eine Bestätigung per Mail kommt, dass sich innerhalb von zwei Tagen jemand meldet. Ich habe das mehrfach versucht und leider nie eine Antwort bekommen. Offensichtlich hat es die Firma nicht nötig sich mit Kundenservice zu befassen. Sehr schade.

ARC 1100 Laufräder,
1) Schlechte Konstruktion: Tubless ist ein hohes Risiko, die Dichtmilch die vom Radhersteller eingefüllt wurde funktionierte nicht, das ist nicht das Problem von Dt Swiss aber der Reifen hält bei Druckverlust nicht auf der Felge, die Hubs fehlen im Felgenbett - das ist ein Konstruktionsfehler und gefährlich.
2) Rückruf: Das die Felge für ein 2500 Euro teures Schweizer „Premiumprodukt“ in Vietnam produziert wird ist schon….. aber das man die Fertigungsprozesse nicht im Griff hat ist ein unglaublicher Vorgang. Abwicklung und Arbeitsqualität waren der absolute Horror. Felgen wurden von mir sorgfältig verpackt. Zurück kam ein beschädigter Karton, eine Felge mit Kratzer (Fotodoku -vor und nach Versand) Felgenband schräg bis in das Felgenhorn eigeklebt, kein Prüfbericht und Auskunft wie geprüft wurde. Hat durch die Prüfmethode (Last auf sensible Stellen) die Stabilität und Haltbarkeit gelitten? Bei dieser schlampigen Arbeit ist das letzte bisschen Vertrauen verspielt worden.
Der einzig korrekte Weg wäre Ersatz durch neu oder finanzielle Entschädigungen gewesen.
DT Swiss- nie wider

ROUE DT SWISS SPLINE 1200 30 MOYEU 180 EXP achétées le 17 01 2025 chez ALLTRICKS. Roues AV et AR.
Cette paire de roue a été montée sur mon vélo les deux hivers soit 2 à 3 mois en roulant 1 a 2 fois par mois.
Autant vous dire qu'elle sont quasi neuves.
Mais il y avait un léger cliquetis sur la fin donc je démonte et je m'aperçois que l'axe est dur et broute un peu. Je regarde l'avant et même constat.
Donc j'envoie les roues en SAV avant la fin de la garantie.
Réponse (1.5 mois après le constat) : les roulements ne sont pas compris dans le SAV !!! Je rappelle quasi neuve kms entre 400kms et 700kms. Je suis pro et je suspect un problème de qualité de roulement ou autre problème de conception moyeu !
ALLTRICKS a relayé mais SAV DT me facture 330€ !
Donc je dis non et je contacte SAV France directement et je tombe sur une personne qui ne m'écoute pas, rien à faire de mon constat c'est ça ou rien !!!
Elle me fait la morale en plus que c'est normale de changer les roulements. C'est de l'usure !!! pour des roues quasi neuves !
Mais peut être que stocker les roues sans les utilisées usent les roulements !!! Suis bête !
Donc Terminé DT SWISS surtout que j'ai déjà eu des problèmes de conception (usinage sur des moyeux 240 il y a 5 ans).
SAV minable, Roues vendus très chères pour une qualité minable.
Sur les forums, d'autres personnes ont eu le même problème sur ce type de moyeu !
A FUIR DT SWISS VRAIMENT

I strongly advise against purchasing DT Swiss carbon wheels from the "LS" (Light Support) series. The manufacturer markets them as Enduro wheels (ASTM 4 category) designed for rough terrain, but their durability is shockingly poor.

Despite my weight of only 71 kg and the use of a heavy-duty DH casing tire with a tubeless insert, the rim cracked during normal off-road riding. This was not the result of a crash or coming up short on a jump (casing). The impact was so routine that both the tire and the insert remained completely intact – only the carbon failed.

DT Swiss service rejected my warranty claim using the absurd argument that using tire inserts can actually cause rim damage instead of protecting it. If you are looking for wheels that can actually handle Enduro riding, rather than just looking good in a catalog, steer clear of this product.

Ich bin auch von dem Rückruf betroffen und müsste über drei Monate auf meine Laufräder warten. Da mein Vorderrad getauscht wurde, bin ich sogar unmittelbar davon betroffen. Für eine Schweizer Firma mit so teuren Produkten ist dies ein Armutszeugnis. Ich bin noch dabei die Prüfprotokolle von DT Swiss zu bekommen. Dies ist aber nicht besonders einfach. DT Swiss denkt, dass alles mit einem kleinen Runden Aufkleber erledigt ist.

Helt ekstrem dårlig service!

Jeg har fået mine hjul tilbagekaldt som mange andre og i starten var de gode til at informere og forklare, men efter de havde haft mine hjul i ca. 1 måned fik jeg mit baghjul retur. Jeg skal og spurgte, hvornår jeg så kunne forvente at få mit forhjul eller om der var noget galt med det. Det har jeg nu rykket for svar på 3 gange og i over 1 måned, men uden at de svarer på noget.

Just want to leave a comment to express my gratitude to DT Swiss.

Yes unfortunately I had my wheels recalled. However this is for the safety and well being of the customer. Ofcourse not being able to ride for a few weeks in my case was unfortunate but nevertheless this was the right thing for a company to do. This would have put huge strain on DT Swiss and their image, but I think they have made the absolute best out of a difficult situation.

They sent me boxes to resend the wheel set, and they returned the wheels within a week all checked and cleared. They also totally refunded all the costs from removing brakes and cassettes from my local bike shop.

Aside from this Im also very happy with the wheels and I will definitely remain a customer of DT Swiss.

Pas de solution concrète proposée la part de la marque pour la réparation d'une roue arrière achetée il y à moins de deux ans. Le service après vente ne réponds plus. Après avoir été invité à passer commande chez un revendeur de la marque, la commande a été annulée par la marque via le revendeur et aucune solution proposée pour le simple changement d'un rayon. Je conseille d'acheter les roues en magasin pour pouvoir etre correctement dépanné en cas de besoin.

I get it, everyone has different experiences. I personally had a recall on my DT Swiss wheels. DTS went above and beyond. The execution of shipping and returning wheels was first class, cannot imagine what the recall entailed. I am sure it was massive. DTS kept me informed the entire way. And they even took care of the service cost of removing the cassette and disk brakes. I get it, we are quick to let people know when things do not go accordingly. It is even more important to acknowledge when an organization steps up and addresses an issue like this, that I am sure involved hundreds if not thousands of wheels. When buying any replacement wheels, DTS will be on the top of my list.

Kann mich da nur anschließen, warte schon 2 Monate, noch nicht einmal Kartons wurden bis jetzt verschickt. Nie mehr DT Swiss. Lasst die Finger davon! Keinen Stern.

Bought a new Canyon bike equipped with DT Swiss wheels. Four months later the wheels get recalled due to a potential issue.

Communication was not ideal as it took several weeks to get clear on the way forward. Several mails sent to the support service to get a status on the wheel checks.

This meant at least 2 months without my riding my brand new bike. Additionally, we had to remove the tires and were asked to remove disk and cassette (which I did not do). This means additional time lost to remove the tires and put them back in (a task that no cyclist likes).

We expect better than a brand like DT Swiss in terms of internal quality controls so that such situation do not arise. This ends up with me being frustrated and considering no longer buying any bike or wheels branded DT Swiss.

Bester Kundenservice den ich je hatte. Es wird sich Zeit genommen dem Kunden zu erklären was das Problem ist und es wird sofort unkompliziert geholfen.

Mir ist bei einem Rennradrennen der Freilauf kaputt gegangen - sie haben mir kostenlos ein Ersatzhinterreifen montiert, mein mitgenommen und kostenlos wieder zugesandt.

Ihr Rücklaufprogramm für manche Laufräder mag Produkttechnisvh doof sein aber ihr Kundenservice ist 10/10.

DT Swiss wheels recall: my wheels are affected. I can't ride my bike and also I need to dismantle the wheels and find out how to ship them, wasting my own time for it (while building a second set of wheels to ride).

I don't want a compensation for my time (which should be owed), but now I find out they're not even refunding the money I paid to ship them and find out whether my 1500 eur wheels are "safe"?

Luckily there are other wheel brands. Lesson learnt for the future.

Unfortunately my DT Swiss ERC1400 were involved in the July 2025 recall.

However I can only say that I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism and correctness my case - and as I read online others as well - was treated.

Of course it is not fun not being able to ride for a few weeks, but I prefer this scenario as opposed to crashing my bike while riding potentially defective wheels.

In their professionalism of handling this case, my faith in (and love for) DT Swiss products has only increased.

Ad oggi, dopo quasi un mese sono ancora fermo al palo per la situazione ruote soggette a controllo da parte della DTSWISS. Non posso fare i miei canonici allenamenti in quanto sono bloccato da un richiamo di sicurezza. Fino a quando devo attendere? Posso richiedere un coppia di ruote sostitutive anche se non pari alle mie? Mi basta che rispecchiano le caratteristiche della mia bici. CANYON CFSLX8DII2.
Considerando che dal momento della ricezione degli imballaggi, spedite le ruote, devo attendere 10 giorni lavorativi per l’ esito dei controlli, e poi di nuovo una spedizione a casa. Devo mettere in conto che tutto Settembre va a farsi benedire. Facendo ipotesi di un esito negativo dei controlli da effettuare, mi spetta la sostituzione in toto delle ruote. Salterà pure Ottobre? Questo tempo chi me lo ripaga?

Sehr teuere Laufräder, welche den ganzen Sommer nicht genutzt werden konnten. Zurück bekommt man diese ohne irgendeinen Nachweis, dass irgendwas geprüft wurde und als "Entschädigung" einen Keks. Achja, verkratzt haben sie mein eines Laufrad auch noch.

E-Mails die an die Niederlassung geschrieben werden, werden offensichtlich nicht gelesen und einfach mit einem Standardtext beantwortet. Wie kann man sich so amateurhaft verhalten?

Ich kann weder die deutsche Niederlassung noch das Unternehmen als solches empfehlen. Schwache Leistung!

Ich habe selten so einen katastrophal gemanagten Rückruf erlebt.
Erst werden Laufräder ausgeliefert, die potenziell lebensgefährlich sind. Dann herrscht wochenlang Funkstille – keine klare Kommunikation, kein Plan, wie es weitergeht.

Der Austauschprozess selbst ist aus Kundensicht eine Zumutung: kompliziert, undurchdacht und mit unnötigen Hürden. So geht man nicht mit sicherheitsrelevanten Problemen um.

Wenn ich könnte würde ich hier 0 Sterne vergeben. Absolute Katastrophe – für mich kommt DT Swiss nie wieder in Frage.

Ich bin äußerst enttäuscht vom Ablauf der aktuellen Rückrufaktion. Seit dem 12. Juli warte ich darauf, meine Laufräder zurücksenden zu können – doch bis heute ist nicht einmal der Versandkarton angekommen. Die Saison ist inzwischen praktisch gelaufen, und ich sitze weiterhin auf den betroffenen Laufrädern.

Der Kundenservice ist leider kaum hilfreich: Auf E-Mails muss man viel zu lange warten, und wenn eine Antwort kommt, ist sie unkonkret und allgemein gehalten – individuelle Anliegen werden nicht berücksichtigt.

Angesichts dieser Erfahrungen kann ich DT Swiss nicht empfehlen. Wer Wert auf zuverlässigen Support und eine funktionierende Abwicklung legt, sollte sich besser bei anderen Herstellern umsehen.
