T2 is lovely, bright, clean etc.
Food hall very impersonal, all kiosks to order food. You can't customise anything on these and vegan options are non existent. Thus is upstairs food hall only. Dublin T2 its very very easy to do better

Security stuff most of the Times is really rude and not helpful at all.
Gate stuff same.

Approaching the departure gates in Terminal 2 tonight, there was an announcement that boots and thick-soled shoes should be removed. I asked the security guy "Are these shoes ok?" He looked down and said "They're lovely!" Full marks to him for comedy.

Very bad unprofessional security screening stuff .today I had a flight and ! the security screener who for no reason checked my carry on stole my chocolates its a big shame that the stuff steal from rushing passengers big shame!.My advice is stay away from irish british airlines and airports they just cancel your flights give you hard times and steal your staff!!by the way my carry on screener was a young thin tall boy I need to know who it was...date was October 24,2024 around 3.45 pm

Had a layover flight in Dublin that was delayed and the plane took off without us. My boyfriend and I had to try again the next day, we breezed through tsa up until the border control for the USA flights.
I am an American citizen so I was able to get through without much trouble, my boyfriend is Dutch and unfortunately he was put through torture.
For half an hour, my boyfriend was interrogated by a malicious border control officer. The officer knew my boyfriend was nervous (he had never flown before) and was trying to get him to crack.
My boyfriend stuttered at a question, and the officer shut everything down. My boyfriend was not given a statement, and was pulled back to the luggage hall. On the way, the officer was bragging about how he got a few other people kicked out of the border control.
The treatment of my boyfriend is outrageous and abhorrent. This was extremely unprofessional and more in line with kindergarten bullying.
This officer needs to be held accountable for this childish behavior.
He cost us our entire trip to see my family.

Little to no restaurants. Interconnected building after building I’d hate to try and get out safely during an emergency. Bathrooms are just okay not great. One Dyson Hand dryer right next to an active sink, really?

Overzealous rude and bullying attitude at the xray part of boarding. Made to feel like a criminal and treated as if I was stupid or wasnt cooperative.

Waited over an hour to collect our baggage ,we were told after 45 minutes it was a technical difficulty but more likely they were understaffed and as a result we missed our bus and instead of getting home at 6pm it was 8pm before we got home really not good enough.

I needed assistance so asked a member of staff where to find it in terminal 2. Was told to sit and wait in an adjacent area. 45 minutes later I was brought to the far end of the concourse, where I was asked to sit and wait near a door which was in constant use. I was then wheeled through to Terminal 1 security, back to terminal 2 to my boarding gate. I was deposited near a bin and told to stay with the wheelchair.it took 100 minutes from entering the airport to get to the gate. I was not offered the use of toilet facilities or a stop for refreshment, despite having said that I had not breakfasted. In all, a reluctant service, delivered by disinterested staff.

After arriving at 21:00 hrs we were unable to get a drink or food as the vendors were shutting. The smoking area was locked off. The duty free had limited tobacco products. Could not find a place to sit, our flights were delayed for 2 hours. We usually fly to and from Shannon, they seem to look after their customers to a higher standard.

On the 14th of September we flew from Kerry/Dublin with the intention of flying DublinGeneva. Our flight from Kerry was delayed and it was impossible for us to make the connecting flight as my husband and I are in our eighties and need spécial assistance and wheelchairs.
We were fortunate enough to meet two young men who when we explained our predicament said they would do their upmost to get us on the next plane.
We were amazed at the effort they deployed in achieving their goal.
One of the young men’s name was Anthony. We are very grateful and send our heartfelt thanks to both of them.

meet and greet service was Worst Ever . was met by a foreign person on arrival back in ireland . handed me my car keys and ran . car had been ranshacked and everything that was not nailed down was stolen . STOLEN everything from trolley jack to wifes glasses and spare change and torch and national trust passes DO NOT USE MEET AND GREET AT DUBLIN AIRPORT

Yet again I encountered pure arrogance and unfriendliness at the customs check in. It seems to be standard procedure at this airport. You are treated as second class citizens. Its high time they started treating customers ( yes, that's what we are ) with respect instead of the condescending way they do now. They seem to have the "them and us" mentality. No other airport I travel through is like this. Maybe they should follow a customer service course?

Have to say the security staff in T2 were amazing today they were under tremdous pressure with the power outage, they were all still smiling and trying there very best to help everyone

Please get rid of the piano, I'm sure most people waiting at arrivals don't want to hear a kids bashing the keys creating an awful din

Have to say I travel often with my Husband who needs assistance through the airport & the service is second to none… well done to all involved.

Security was a joke, one of the scanners stopped working (which can happen), but they just left people stand in the queue and didn’t communicate! I myself and others had to figure this out ourselves and move to a different queue. I was then told to keep moving and repack my things elsewhere (I was in the dedicated area, putting on my shoes).

Shocking airport, Check-in was a joke took almost 2 hours, signage is useless. Overall a bad experience. on return Red carpark shuttle bus took 30 minutes to arrive, then they didn't stop at area "A" and when I tried to discuss with the driver he was very rude, Ended up walking in the rain with two suitcases the full length of the carpark. Won't use this service again .

Expensive crappie food and upstairs seating in restaurant is in really poor shape. Embarrassing.
