Deffinetly the worst public service in the world. They have only 1 bus from west to the south S8 and everyday is cancelled, the worst part is that is cancelled at the time when everybody going to work. 6 months I live in the west and I was late to work 80% of the time because of this bus. And they don't care when you complaint to their official page, they literally laugh in your face.

Terrible way of transport 2 w4s went by without having there signs on to show there the w4 and every bus in the past hour has shown not in service do not depend on these

Totally appalled by the shitty service of Dublin bus especially during the weekends. Today, 8th November 2025, Saturday, I was waiting at the Celbridge bus stop for over half an hour. The bus is delayed without any notice whatsoever. Even on their shitty TFI live app, it shows that the bus will only go till Bachelors walk and nobody knows the reason. Irish bus and Irish trains won’t ever work perfectly and they don’t care a damn about their shitty customer service.

Don't expect to get anywhere on time with Dublin bus

this organisation has lost every ounce of my respect. As an irish citizen i am apaulled that this company is still in business it is a disgrace to the country. thank you dublin bud for once again not only coming 17 minutes late, but once you did come you decided to not let me on said bus and drive past leaving me stranded,drenched, and once again late for school as this is the second time this week and i will more than likely end up with detention. i wonder will i ever live to see the day where one of your busses actually come on time and in a mannerly order.

Had another great experience today as had a bad morning due to another matter Had to go to Clarehall lovely bus man with glasses on the 27 bus stopped asked me where I was going he put down the ramp and got on bus as it was raining When I got to Clarehall he told the other passengers who were waiting to get on to wait and put down the ramp so kind to a person that has a mobility issue a little kindness goes along way a credit to Dublin Bus

Just the worst service, buses constantly being a let down by not turning up and being late for appointments - cannot depend on dublin bus at all

What an absolute disgrace. Always late and if it decides to show up its super packed. Almost like Indian trains!! People are waiting 10 to 30 mins to get on in this miserable weather. Routes are awful as in buses stop every 2 seconds leading to journeys taking an hour l...if youre lucky!

Is disapointment, specially the route 40 now is F2 is always disappointing, public transport should be helpful for people not always couse truble

Bus alwasy late ,or cancelled or full and no stop or just no show… this company is a joke.

You're also destroying what was working. Supposedly every 15, 20 minutes. But they should have written that it's about waiting for a bus. According to the schedule, up to 4 buses should go and only two are going. A total bunch of amateurs and idiots who came up with that. Especially since there are buses waiting at the stop. Total idiocy.

Should be a 0 star, has to be one of the worst bi's services in the world, busses are always late or don't show up. Drivers are rude and drive infuriatingly slow. The routes are terrible with most busses stopping every 30 seconds due to a mix of stops being 2 minute walks from each other and the traffic lights between. It seems routes are not thought out or planned by anyone who actually had to get a bus. The new routes are also amazingly bad

No bus, next bus cancelled, how bad can you be and still call yourself a service

The 123 is so unreliable!!!! Constantly not showing up or disappearing off the screen and this js all hours of the day.
I end up spending more money on taxis because of this.

ABSOLUTE JOKE. Cancellations, busses being late, busses don’t stop, busses don’t take on people. Absolute disgrace.

Shame on you, Dublin Bus.
Today at around 8:22 AM, there were children aged 5 and 6 running with their parents to catch the bus from stop 7027. They were trying to avoid the rain and not be late for school. However, when they were just 2 meters away from the bus door, the driver decided to close the door and leave them behind. He should have waited just one more second for those desperate kids and parents to get on the bus.
I understand that drivers have rules and schedules to follow, but there should also be some compassion in these situations. The driver had just dropped off passengers and could have easily waited one more second, only for these children and their parents to jump in the bus.
I am sharing this because I ride the bus four times a day and have witnessed similar situations where drivers wait a few extra seconds for others. However, today was different; the individuals waiting were from diverse backgrounds and did not appear “white enough” to be seen as Irish or European.
This raises a concern for Dublin Bus management to address the problematic behaviour I have observed, which includes instances of racism from drivers during my commutes. It's crucial for children to feel that Dublin Bus, which is supposed to serve the community, truly includes everyone in that community.

If being late was an Olympic sport, this company would take gold, silver, and bronze — probably arriving an hour late to the medal ceremony.

The worst service bus/train ever for a capital.

Have given a star cause can’t go lower. Unbelievably bad service. I moved back to Dublin from Sydney 6 months ago and a big reason I am leaving again is because the public transport is terrible - always either late or doesn’t show up, the apps aren’t accurate on the times, making it impossible to plan. Can’t believe how bad a bus service can be.
