First I had 3 buses ( N4 ) cancelled the other day and had to book a taxi to get to work, today after work again 3 buses ( 40B and two 83s ) cancelled and as I get to stop 139 another N4 didn't show up, this time without notice.. and I can understand all of this happening, but every week couple of times bus stops ( usually at UCD ) because of going to fast?! So usually I'm late for work because there's a traffic ( or they're short stuffed or whatever ) and now I find out I'll most probably get late to work because there is no traffic and driver has to stop and wait because of the schedule, if not he faces deduction on his salary. That's absurd. As I'm writing this I see another N4 is cancelled and another one is in 40 minutes?? Guess I'm booking a taxi again and definitely not paying a bus fare from now on, looking forward to see what the driver or security gonna do, at this point I don't mind getting arrested just to have another one cancelled or at least delayed.

Standing at bus stop 45 minutes- 3 buses on the app never showed and one whet past “out of service” - Dublin 13 to city centre.

I was at the first stop of the S6 and the S6 pulled up and I got on with a few other people but after a few minutes the bus took a wrong turn and all of a sudden it was the L26, I’m aware that the bus can change number at the first stop but as I was getting on it was the S6 and other also had this problem.
Then today (the day after this incident), I was waiting for the S6 and it pulled up on time but then the driver got out and just went on his phone for about ten minutes before finally letting us on and then took another five minutes before actually moving.

If there was possibility to give 0 stars for review I would still prefer -1. Horrible service. Never on time. If there was race between a Dublin bus and a tortoise I bet tortoise will be million times faster. Really annoying. Cannot rely on this service at all. Luas is much better but the reach of luas is way less so there r times where is hopeless Dublin bus is the only hope. Really disappointed. 😑

Bus simply never arrived.

Disgraceful!! Two 41c went past the 4909 bus stop and never stopped even though we put our hands out as far as we could nope!!!!! Also, it says due at this time but afterwards disappears from the board and over 5 buses went by out of service

Joke of a company, they obviously take no personal pride in what they do. Buses due in 5 minutes or less disappear from the board for no reason, countless delays, every bus at every stop is often full which obviously means demand is not being met. I've written reviews in the past about this joke of a company but hopefully some manager in an office, getting paid too much will lose a little bit of sleep over this but I doubt it. Most people have personal pride in what they do professionally, but I guess you lose that when you walk through the doors of Dublin Bus-or maybe they hire on the basis that you have no professional or personal pride? Who knows. I can't wait for the common excuse that "There was an accident, hence the delays" as if that justifies buses disappearing from the board, or as if delays don't happen every single day, even when there are no accidents.

I would go with 0 stars if that was an option.I was waiting at a stop in kinsealy drynam for the 43 and it said it would be there in 2 minutes but once it drove by it said not in service. It should not have been on the app if it was not in service.Now i have to walk a long distance

Just on the 49 bus into town and the driver is so nice. He actually beeped the horn softly for a little toddler waving on the side of the road, who was thrilled at the response. He says goodbye to anyone who thanks him. The bus was on time and it was clean. It is the small things in life that make your day brighter. Thank you 😊

The worst public transport in Europe. I am avoiding it like fire. Only today did the bus I waited on managed to dissapear into the thin air... And I am using their service once a quarter at best. Simply dreadful

When you take the E1 from the city centre, they should put a notice on it that it only goes to Donnybrook. 40 mins later, they transfer you to a bus that is full - and can't pick up all passengers at the next stop (in the rain).

The 39 arrived on time in (a rare thing) then stopped on the quays for at least ten minutes to “change driver”. I say at least ten minutes as that’s how long I waited until I got off and got onto another bus. The driver was still sat in his cab as the other bus drove off. For all I know, he’s still there waiting.

It's just a total gamble with these guys if your bus will show, and if it doesnt if the one after will.

Kilkenny to Dublin bus . Don't get this bus if you need to be on time for anything and save yourself phoning customer care because they don't answer.
Absolutely no air on the bus,disgusting, my wheelie bin smells nicer.

W6 6:40 bus driver doesn't know where he is going and won't let any one off

The drivers are very courteous and drive really well.The TFI app is usually accurate.The frequency has improved.

TFI Transport for Ireland really? Yesterday 25/6/2025 waited from 3.50 until 5.20pm in Swords main street at Stop 3678 for a 102 bus to Portmarnock. 3 busses disappeared off the app. 1st said due in 9mins but never arrived at the stop and the following two just disappeared off the app. A number of elderly people waited footsore and weary with no shelter from heavy showers or seats to rest. This is a non service! Totally unacceptable. How can a transport company leave people stranded for nearly two hours with 3 bus no shows and call itself .... Transport for Ireland?

Graham in route c6 driver service was out of the world, great experience with the polite advice, please give this Irish lad a raise he deserves it

I was helped by the gentleman who worked for the bus company at the weekend. Terry and two of his colleagues assisted me to getting on the right bus as the Dublin express had miss informed me of Their timetable.

These gentleman helped a very stressed lady get on the right bus to the airport at 2am.

Thank you for these wonderful men.
