Great warranty experience

I had a problem wit a part on my bike so I requested a replacement part under warranty. e-bikeshop responded same day to my email and put teh warranty claim in with Bosch. The next day it was confirmed that my claim had been accepted and teh replacement part was shipped out! Problems happen, that's life, but what counts is how those problems are dealt with and both e-bikeshop and Bosch excelled in their response. I heartily recommend both.

Customer service 10/10

Great service. Brought my bike few months ago and delivery was fast.

My charger port cover on the bike fell off last weekend, emailed them and within 4 days they had contacted the manufacturer and a replacement unit was delivered to me.
Brilliant customer service and after sales.

Could do better with more efficient parcel delivery firm.You supplied the item,so there was…

You supplied the item,so there was problem from you. The issue was the use of DHL delivering the parcel, saying they had tried yesterday but no one was in. This was a complete lie, as I was at home all day, working in my office which overlooks the front of the house. No one rang the bell or bagged on the door. Where they went, I have no idea.
I would suggest using a better parcel service,like Royal Mail I order something just after I ordered from you and that arrived on time as indicated in their emails. Your took to days. Luckily I didn't need the part before the weekend.
That's the reason for the poor score.

While its always frustrating when things arrive late in the post, its not unheard of and is as you pointed out, entirely the fault of the carrier. As a retailer, we have no control over them once a parcel leaves us and ALL carriers are not without fault at least some of the time.

We use both DHL and Royal Mail and having used both for more than 15 years, we generally find that DHL's next day service is significantly more reliable.

Its a shame that with Josh having printed your order and sent it to the Warehouse team just 4 minutes after your placed it (8 minutes before the next day cut-off) and Dan having packed and had it ready for DHL just 30 minutes later to ensure it left the same day (and with only 90 minutes until the DHL truck arrived), that they've subsequently not delivered it on time.

For the sake of a £3.99 part, the small team here at E-bikeshop who regularly read these reviews will have to accept this blemish on their ordinarily outstanding record for something entirely out of their control, which is unfortunate.

If it helps, from our side, we've sold you a £3.99 part on which we make around £90p, and charged you £4.99 delivery. The team shipped it via DHL because it was your first order and they wanted (and expected by doing so) to ensure outstanding service, knowing the true cost of DHL Next Day to us is £7.10 per packet meaning with a cost (to us) of £9.52 to service this order and a return of £8.98, we've effectively just PAID 46p for a two star review.

I note that you've not left any feedback for DHL who as you pointed out yourself, are the ones who actually delayed your item.

Im sorry that we were both let down on this occasion. Tomorrow, ill suggest to the warehouse team that upgrading peoples delivery at our own cost with the hope of ensuring oustanding service is probably not worth it for them.
