Delivery let down

So looking forward to my spares and fitting over the weekend, you scheduled delivery with DHL, they sent me tracker but late Friday said it was now to be delivered the next working day and it was at the delivery depot. Their DHL next working day is Saturday, but no delivery, tracker still says at delivery depot.

Still waiting…hope it arrives Monday, I need the parts to get to work.

Update: DHL delivered Monday and parts fitted in 20 minutes and all good. Very Happy with parts and ordering no reflection on e-bike shop. Just DHL needs to deliver as promised and no opportunity to review them.

Hi James, Apologies your delivery suffered a short delay with DHL. We have no contact from you to date, but please do reach out to us in the future in the first instance and we'll always do our best to assist. We can see we dispatched the item to you the very same day as you ordered it. We do rely on the delivery company to deliver items as detailed on our delivery page, these cannot be guaranteed as this is a 3rd party service. Unfortunately sometimes there can be delays outside of our control. We have since investigated this for you and can see the package did suffer a 1-day delay at the courier sorting hub, we understand this can be frustrating. We can see the package was successfully delivered to you today, the next working day, so all being well this is now resolved for you. However apologies again it didn't make it to you before the weekend. Given this page is for our service level and given the package was dispatched correctly and timely, would you consider updating your review of our service level and maybe adding your review to the shippers page instead?

Having to buy a bike on line

It’s not great having to purchase a bike that you haven’t seen before you buy it however I have been really pleased with my purchase. This on line company has been delightful to deal with and the after service has been second to none .

E-Bikeshop point blank…refused to accept my complaint. (Instead continued to accuse me of being at fault and that I was basically lying).

This was due to E-Bikeshop point blank refusing to accept that the derailer on my brand new bike was in some either faulty or not fitted correctly etc. Therefore only way in which I could use my brand new bike was to purchase replacement albeit they sold me it at cost!!!!!!!!!

Not at any point had we refused to fully accept that that your rear derailleur was faulty. This would be impossible to ascertain without having the physical part in our own hands.

We did however, suggest that a rear derailleur being twisted more than 180 degrees and going through the back wheel on a brand bike is most unusual and so we (I) offered you the option (on multiple occasions) to ship the component back to us and we would provide it to Madison (Shimano's UK distributor and handler of warranty services), for their view. If, in their opinion, the component failed due to a manufacturing issue/defect of any sort they would issue you a brand new one, free of charge and hassle.

The alternative we offered was to pay for a new one at cost price and we would ship it immediately, which is the option you chose.

Given the above, and the speed at which responses were given, I'm not sure what more we could have done for you on this occasion.

Great helpful and friendly support

Had an issue with an motor cut out after changing the tyre on the rear wheel. Received great support via email to help diagnose and fix the issue though as it was a job I was not comfortable doing I took the bike to be repaired. Again really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable support. Bike was fixed in just over an hour whilst I waited.

Dispatch notification issues but sorted by e-bike shop following a quick call

So I've received an email from e-bikeshop chasing me to leave a review of the product I ordered and their service. Bit hard to do I'm afraid as the status on your site still shows the product I ordered as awaiting shipping eventhough it was ordered four days ago, no dispatch confirmation received so assume you still haven't shipped it. So as its not been shipped and not been received I don't see how I can leave you a review of it. Perhaps send the emails chasing a review after the product has been shipped by you and actually received by the customer?

Update 15th November : Ben has been in contact, appears delay with courier DHL, next day service, sent Tuesday 12th delivered today 15th November.

I had received no email to confirm dispatch so all I had to go on was the initial order confirmation which linked back to site and still showed as not dispatched. Ben called me yesterday to re assure order had been dispatched and sent me the tracking detail via another email which I did receive and did confirm item in transit at that time.

As order now received and alternate comms received I have updated my review accordingly.

Thanks for your review and time on the phone Justin.

As discussed, I can see your order was placed in the evening of 11th November at 19.13pm and was shipped the following day (12th). It left us on the DHL truck at 4.43pm that day and shipping information from DHL was sent via email when it was scanned onto the truck. This was sent the to same email which you input on your order, which I can see also matches the email address of this review.

Its currently sitting at the DHL depot in Cardiff. This in itself is quite frustrating because we pay them for a next day service and so it should have been with you yesterday, 13th November (which it currently still shows as "Due by", even though today is the 14th).

Its a shame that with all the speed and diligence of the team in the warehouse here, that we have to accept a 2* review for something we were previously unaware of and is ultimately, out of our control.

As promised, we'll of course investigate the delay with DHL, but proof of order acceptance/fulfilment timelines and the shipping information originally sent by email will be resent to you and is probably already in your inbox alongside this response @ 15.16, 14th Nov.

THE place to go for your e-bike.

Made appointment... Really good discussion around what kind of e-bike I needed...Ben was very helpful and informative, no "hard sell", just good advice. Had trial ride down the road, came in and bought it..! The whole experience was excellent. Highly recommended.
