Do not recommend. This couple are also running a Photo Booth business called full moon photo booths in Fairfield.
Do not recommend. After co-ordinating a sale of a photo booth for my kids party I asked whether he wanted payid or cash which he said payid was fine. I transferred $450 to his Full Moon Payid in front of him and texted the receipt to him. He then asked for my drivers licence which I gave a copy to him of and then refused to hand the purchased booth over saying he didn’t have the money in his account. As payid can take up to three days to process which he thought was instant he wanted another $450 cash for me to take it and he’d return money once the payid arrived in his account. I said I wouldn’t be handing over more cash as he had my drivers licence and the agreed payid transfer of $450. He then had his wife rip into me about haggling when all I’d done was point out the Photo Booth he had and got from China through the Alibaba website new was listed as either $59.90 or $298 to which he’d advertised 2nd hand $500 and had agreed $450. I drove over an hour to collect and an hour home. So all up I drove two hours, no Photo Booth for daughter’s party. I texted my frustration and said maybe next time be clear about payid clearing in your bank account or demanding cash instead to avoid such a frustrating experience for all concerned. In any case he has indicated he is returning the payid $450 and now blocked me. Refused to apologise which would have ended my frustration. Do not recommend this business.

As a venue, listing on easy weddings has been an essential tool to drive enquiries. Our conversion rates were quite low so my account manager Tenzin Andrew suggested he would run a workshop with my team. It was delivered today and it was truly insightful. If you're looking to advertise on the easy weddings platform, beware. These guys are incredibly scummy, sleazy, and will end up locking you into a 12 month contract without your consent (while claiming they "have it recorded over the phone") making you think its a monthly subscription.

Even worse, you then will receive only fake inquiries that are so obviously fake as none of them reply to any emails/phone calls while all sharing an almost word-for-word identical inquiry message.

You are much better off putting your money into Facebook/Instagram ads and not being ripped off by this scummy organisation

I had signed up for a 12 month contract for Easy Weddings to advertise my videography services on their directory from 23/11/22 to 23/11/23 at $99 per month.
I was unsuccessful with the advertisement so a few months back I spoke with Easy Weddings staff on the phone and requested to cancel my contract. However they informed me I had to keep paying $99 monthly until the end of the 12 months.
Without my consent my contract was rolled over for another year and I refused to keep paying. I have finally organized for my account to be cancelled on 23/1/24 after having two months rolled over that I had not asked for yet I am being charged for them.
I had assumed that after 23/11/23 my Easy Weddings account would finish, my payments would finish. I did not make the decision to renew the account for a further 12 months.
I am now expected to pay for the Months of December and January at a total of $198 which I feel this was against my wishes. Easy Weddings have informed me that they will take this $198 to debt collectors.

I wish to have this matter resolved.

We made our payments through them in installments and so there was no fuss or stress involved in our repayments. I highly recommend using easy weddings when planning for your big day. So these guys brag that they are the #1 wedding directory in Australia. I say FAKE NEWS, I had never heard anyone talk about them except on their facebook ad. SIgned up for a 12 month contract and got ZERO bookings. Barely even a lead. It is a complete rip off so if you are serious about advertising weddings just about anything else you advertise will yield BETTER returns. You have been warned.

Thanks to easy weddings for making my wedding planning so much easier by connecting so many suppliers for quotes and availability at once. Especially living over 400km away from where we have decided to have our magic wedding. Great service!

Like many, we signed a 12 month contract and soon regretted having done so... Fake leads, and a company-spin targeted at the promotion of upgrading, soon leaves one feeling disillusioned, and more than a bit had -- especially considering the cost... So far, entirely our fault though; we were naive, and acted rashly in signing with a company the we hadn't fully researched...

A few years on, and we still find that our OLD listing, with OUTDATED DETAILS AND IMAGERY is still visible on their site, despite our requesting that our old profile be removed from their system.

Their spokesperson has a) said they would get onto it, and b) on a seperate occasion has stated that they do not have the capability to remove our old profile from their own software...

Beware a company that will potentially date your business in such a detrimental way!

If you are a wedding business advertiser you should avoid at all cost! We spent a year on their mid-range plan (later upgraded FOC to the top plan) and received precisely ZERO quality leads. Of the half dozen leads we did receive, all were motivated by price first and even our rates, which are highly competitive in our marketplace, were deemed out of the budget of the brides.
Even worse, a client who, according to them, supplied a five-star rating a year or so after our advertising contract had ended had their review downgraded to three-stars on our legacy page on the Easy Weddings website which is still searchable by Google and has subsequently resulted in loss of business. Despite requesting this legacy page be deleted and cleared it is still searchable to this day.
I have heard many other similar stories from other wedding businesses in Brisbane, all of whom report low numbers of quality enquiries and poor, and, at times non-existent customer service from Easy Weddings, where the answer is always to go up to the next level of advertising!
Don't bother though, it still won't be worth it!
