About Eco2u NW Ltd Eco2u NW Ltd is a renewable energy and home improvement installer based in Longton, Preston serving homes and businesses across the North West and beyond. We design and install solar PV systems, battery storage, EV charging points, air conditioning, and gas boilers — giving customers one accountable installer for upgrading how their property generates, stores and uses energy. We're accredited under MCS, HIES, TrustMark and NAPIT, and every solar and battery installation is handled end to end: DNO notification (G98/G99), Building Regulations compliance, SEG registration so you get paid for exported energy, and a full handover pack including your MCS Certificate, EIC and Building Regulations Compliance Certificate. We fit panels and battery systems from DMEGC, Fox ESS, Hanchu, SolaX and Sigenergy, and we size every system around your actual usage — maximising self-consumption and reducing grid dependence rather than just chasing the biggest array that'll fit on the roof. For heating, our engineers are Gas Safe registered (registration number 985037, checkable on the public Gas Safe Register) to install and replace gas boilers. A typical boiler job covers a proper survey to size the right boiler for your home's hot water demand (including checking whether a more powerful combi needs a wider gas pipe), removal and responsible disposal of the old unit, any pipework or flue modifications needed, smart thermostat/control installation, commissioning with full gas safety checks, Building Control notification with compliance certificates, and registering the manufacturer's warranty on your behalf — most straightforward swaps are completed in one to two days. We know the upfront cost of upgrading a home's energy or heating system can be a barrier, so we offer more than one way to spread the cost: Ideal4Finance, where we act as a direct, FCA-regulated credit broker (Introducer Appointed Representative, FRN 703401), and Hometree finance, which we offer through a partnership arranged via one of our finance partners rather than directly. All finance is subject to status and credit approval. Whether it's solar and battery storage, an EV charger, air conditioning, or a new boiler, we aim to give straightforward advice, a transparent quote, and a tidy, fully compliant installation — backed by manufacturer warranties, our HIES-backed Insurance Backed Guarantee, and our own workmanship guarantee.

Recently noticed with the rising cost of energy bills made sense to get solar googled these guys from the advert I’ve been seeing on facebook and actually saw them working in my area. I call the office dealt with John customer service absolutely amazing. He then passed me to operations. Kurt supported me all the way, successful install by Joe and his team. The whole experience was next to none even the owner of the company came with the handover pack on completion of Works.
If you need solar these guys are the best in the business!

Eco2u recently installed a 7.2kW array with a hybrid inverter, battery storage, and bird protection for us at a brilliant price.
Ryan was fantastic during the quoting stage and answered all my questions/requests promptly. On the day, the installation team arrived right on time, were very friendly, and did an incredibly neat job with all the cable management. They got me set up on the FoxESS app quickly and tidied up completely before leaving. Installation was all done in just one day!
A special shoutout to Kurt, who was super helpful, incredibly friendly, and fully committed to making sure we were 100% happy with the installation. The owner of Eco2u even stopped by to check on the job on the installation day, which was a really thoughtful touch.
We've been practically off-grid since the system went live in September 2026. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Eco2u to anyone. Bring on the summer!
