Received files via egress - not for me
Received files via egress. Annoying as I had to set up an acc just to open the message, then no preview was available so had to download the file which was annoying, and then ... it is not compatible with iPhones. So can't access it until it's downloaded onto a laptop (not sure if Apple compatible) may not be able to even view it at all. What was the point of that? Double check before you use - it's not working for me
Recipients cannot open secure emails
Hi, whilst the system is simple to use in terms of sending documents, recipients often respond by saying they cannot access or open the secure email.
The exact reasons for this are unclear, and seem to be inconsistent - on occasion I have received an email from Egress asking me to authorise a recipients request to open, at other times the recipient simply says 'it just won't let them'!
Greater clarity for recipients on what might be the reasons for this would be helpful, or simple instructions that accompany each secure email so the recipient can follow the instructions to open would be helpful.
Email recipients hate it
Email recipients hate the user interface and constantly ask for emails to be resent unencrypted. The plugin for Outlook on Mac has now stopped working with no notice. Apparently company has been bought out and that's now only available for >50 users. Terrible support interface. Ive no doubt it is secure but am looking at alternatives.
easy to use and reliable
Renewal of contract
I experienced difficulty initially finding where to renew the contract but once I worked out where to find the section, the renewal was straight forward and simple.
I enjoy using Egress but I don't do anything complex. It is used to receive and send documents and information.
The engineer arrived
The engineer arrived. We have intergrade tumble dry. He removed it made the repair. He was polite and very professional. I would recommend Egress.

I contacted Eggress and customer service was very supportive he help me set up the account and this resolved my query. He was patient and understanding of my technical issues and took the time to sort the issue out. I would highly recommend Eggress as it’s encrypted and secure and these days with so many data breaches it’s worth using Eggress. Thank you.

Egress works fine.
Problem was that I had my access revoked, so I'd recommend receiving an email asking if I still needed my access before it actually expires.
Customer service was great though and access was reinstated quickly.

Efficient, secure service, with good support
I have been using Egress for many years. It is my go-to service for encrypted emails. The service is secure, easy to navigate and efficient. The support team are always on hand if needed and there is always a swift response.
Forgotten password… never fear!
I had forgotten my password and some of my answers to the reminder questions. After emailing the service desk it was dealt with swiftly and effectively
Avoid this company at all costs.
Absolutely shocking company. Taking money from people multiple times and not delivering the goods and then denying they ever took the money. My bank had to sort the refund in the end. This company should be shut down for fraud and stealing money from people.
A truly awful company
A truly awful company, despite several failed attempts to complete checkout they took 3 x payments totalling over £300 and then had the nerve to say they have no record of these transactions forcing us to raise the issue with our banks. Along with this we had staff hanging up, and us having to chase to get updates. Avoid at all costs.

Problem solving engineers
Engineers are always helpful and willing to sort out any problems and try their best to do them in a timely fashion which is not always possible but they do persevere and sort them out. They keep ins regular contact by email throughout.

The product is expensive and does not work with web applications. Constant emails from them and poor service when problems arose.
Couldn't submit a lengthy form because I'm a robot!
Awful system. I spent 40mins doing a medical questionnaire (Ramsey healthcare) via chrome just to find at the end that I am in fact a robot so I could not submit it. I tried various things but it would not accept that I am human. I didn't have the time to contact support, so I had to re-enter all my info again and submit using my mobile phone.
