Elder works really well for us. They are very helpful & always on hand to give advice and I've never had a problem sourcing carers

Elder came to our rescue when my mother was about to be discharged from hospital and a local care provider let us down at the last minute. The help we got from Demi was superb, including making himself available over the weekend. We were able to interview potential candidates via WhatsApp we chose a wonderful carer called Sandile who joined us for 12 weeks. Sandile was great and when she needed a week off we were able via Elder, to meet another wonderful carer called Anne.

We used Elder after my 85 year old mother fell and fractured her shoulder. They were able to supply a carer within a day, including arranging an online interview after taking details of her care and health needs.

We have had a love in carer for close to a year which has given us peace of mind and my mother a safe and pleasant home life. They handle holiday brakes and changes of carer brilliantly.

Our main carer was excellent and is highly recommended.

Elder operate a very straightforward, easy to use care service, and seem to be always available to chat, help and organise in home care. It's a great service, and makes a real difference. Highly recommended.

We used Elder to find a live-in respite carer for my Mum who has dementia so that we could go away for the weekend. Really easy to use platform, good choice of lovely carers, great communication, seamless. Recommended.

We as a family are very pleased with Elder for recommending one of their Carers, Daniela to be our Mum’s Live in Carer. Daniela is very kind, thoughtful, organised, compassionate , great personality, sense of humour & patience. She is a great cook too! Our Mum is enjoying lots of wonderful home cooked food & Mum has companionship& friendship so she isn’t lonely any more. We cannot recommend Elder & Daniela enough we are truly satisfied & have peace of mind for our precious cargo… our Mum! Thankyou

I was desperate for immediate care for my mum who is eighty seven and has low mobility with several co-morbidities. Already being a carer for my adult autistic son, I couldn’t manage to care for my mum as well.
Elder were wonderful and very understanding of my predicament. Patricia, the carer assigned to mum was amazing, she took great care of mum and soon fitted into a routine. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better than Patricia, I was happy to leave mum in her care with confidence and peace of mind.

The office staff have been so helpful. I reached out at a very stressful situation, totally bewildered in what to do for the best. But they are all so kind and understanding. We have just had the one carer so far, she has been so helpful to all the family but especially to me and my father who is suffering with mixed Dementia.
I would most certainly recommend them.

We had an excellent experience with Elder at a time when we really needed support.

We were in a crisis situation and needed to arrange care for our mum very quickly. I spoke with Damian, who was calm, reassuring, and completely understanding of the urgency. He told me they would do their best to find someone as soon as possible - and that’s exactly what happened.

Within hours, we were matched with four carers, and we were able to choose the right person for our mum. Just two days later, her carer arrived.

The whole process was incredibly quick, smooth, and efficient, but also felt genuinely caring and human - which made all the difference given the circumstances.

The carer we chose was absolutely wonderful, and we truly don’t know what we would have done without Elder and their fast response.

Every member of staff we spoke to was helpful, compassionate, and understanding throughout.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Elder to anyone needing care support, especially in urgent situations. Their service was quite literally a lifesaver for our family.

This was the first time I had used this firm and was anxious about the whole process. They answered my questions in a timely fashion, were always happy to explain fully and reassure .
They were open about their costs and payments.
The carer was first class and I would happily employ him again.

All the way through the process there are people at the end of the phone helping through it. Whilst the Elder platform is excellent you are not left to your own devices like some apps. I even spoke to people at Elder at the weekend. Laura and Nicolette have been very supportive.
The videos that the carer's do are so helpful and all the carers have been reliable. All handing over to each other so as a daughter of the person being cared for my intervention levels have been less. Each evening you get a report form the carer so you have total peace of mind.

We've been using Elder for 5 years now and can't recall any problems with them, they are in regular contact with us and the process of selecting a new carer is so easy and quick. All the carers are so kind and caring. I would recommend Elder to anyone who is needing the one-to-one care without going into a care home.

The constant desire to be helpful and communicate in a user friendly way is refreshing.
The carer herself was honest trustworthy kind respectful and helpful and a good cook. She kept me informed on a regular basis of relevant issues and complications so that they could be addressed without delay. The person needing care is 99 and very independent and articulate. I live 200 miles away so logistical complications and the need for regular information updates is of paramount importance.

I was particularly impressed with the support that Elder provided and the clear communication from them. They took the pressure and burden of finding carers off us which made a big difference to us and the whole process was easy and straightforward.The carers who came all were kind and skilled, and the support that they gave enabled Mum to stay in her own home for an additional six months before she needed to move into residential care.
