Jo, we're sorry for the frustration this caused — particularly during what was an exceptionally busy period for air conditioning demand. You're right that the pre-order payment terms and the distinction between supplier delivery and customer delivery dates could have been made clearer on the page, and that's useful feedback we'll take on board. The cancellation was unfortunately outside our control due to supplier capacity during the heatwave, and we're glad the refund was processed the same day. We're sorry we couldn't fulfil your order on this occasion and hope you'll give Electricpoint another try in future.

Nicola, we're really sorry for the experience you've had and we want to assure you that this is being dealt with personally. You're absolutely right that the product page should have made it clear that an updated version would be supplied, and we hold our hands up on that. We've been in touch to arrange a free collection on the 15th June and a full refund will follow — you won't be out of pocket in any way. We're sorry for the frustration this has caused and we hope you'll give Electricpoint another chance in future.

Having reviewed the order, the fan supplied matched the manufacturer part number and specification listed on the product page. We understand that where products exist in multiple variants — such as standard, timer, or humidistat versions — selecting the right one can sometimes be confusing, and we're sorry if that wasn't clear enough. We did offer a return under our standard unwanted goods policy; as the correct product was supplied to order, return carriage does fall to the customer in this instance, though we appreciate that's frustrating. We genuinely wish you well with your project and hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity in future.

We're sorry for any inconvenience this causes — we do make every effort to be upfront about our delivery restrictions, and Northern Ireland is listed as an exclusion on our delivery page. Unfortunately the regulatory complexities introduced by the Windsor Framework mean that shipping to Northern Ireland carries significant administrative and cost burdens that we're not currently in a position to absorb. We hope this situation becomes clearer in time, and we'd encourage you to check back with us in future as our delivery options continue to be reviewed.

As outlined on our delivery information, pallet deliveries are kerbside only, and drivers are not able to move goods into properties. However, we do appreciate that this can be challenging with heavier items and understand your frustration.
