The people who work at EmailOctopus are really great at solving the problems that low-tech users like me will encounter. Response time is quick. I've looked at other email services and EmailOctopus is the best one for simple newsletters. It's easy to use and not too complicated. I would give them 10 stars if there was an option for that many!! I highly recommend.

I've been using/building email automation systems since 2016 and my current employer (a charity) wasn't using one. Price is a factor because all our funds go to restoring our GradeII listed Victorian Theatre.

Having used most of the mainstream brands and seeing the gradual reduction in their 'free plan' features, I decided to trial EmailOctopus as it's 'free plan' offered a larger contact list of 2,500.

I trialed EmailOctopus with a personal account using my own list of 297 people. This allowed me to test all areas of the software - without upsetting our list.

It also alowed mea to test EmailOctopus's support responses, both in quality of answer and speed of reply.

SOFTWARE:
Does everything you need to do intuitively and simply. Campaign set up, filtering, segmenting and automation strategies are easily applied and work. 10/10.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT:
I had detailed replies within 1-2 hours - sometimes within 15-minutes! 10/10.

It helps massively when the company is UK based not US based. 10/10.

THE TRIAL OUTCOME:
It went that well I recommended EmailOctopus to the Board of Trustees of our charity and now we use EmailOctopus as our email platform.

We have a list of 2,224 so still operate on the 'free plan' but I have recently integrated it with our ticketing software so when people buy tickets for shows they are automatically added (or updated) to EmailOctopus so our list is growing organically - allowed under UK GDPR/PECR laws if you're a charity.

I love this mass email platform!! It is easy to use, very customizable with insightful reporting options and many other features. The staff who run this are amazing! Anytime I have submitted a question, I have not waited more than an hour or so to get a response and that's even on the weekends in another country. I find this platform so easy to use with amazing results!

As Webmaster of our small nonprofit conservation organization, I have been using eMailOctopus for over a year to send out chapter monthly newsletters and eblasts. Over the last year while using their product, I've only had to ask for help from their support staff one single time and they responded immediately and resolved my issue (with regards to an email bounceback code), Their block editor is quite intuitive and chock full of features. I highly recommend eMailOctopus, you should check it out!

I've used several email marketing providers over the years, but I recently switched to EmailOctopus, and I'm really glad I did.

I love this platform which I use for the theatre. It’s not just the features and easy of sending out campaigns but the integration and service support is exceptional - an expert set of eyes making sure all is well especially when I change something in a connected system and don’t spot the subtle impact in our member automations. Highly recommended.

I've come back to email octopus after trying Substack for a while and just have to say that the customer support is so good. I notice that they didn't do polls and thought I would ask about this. I got a really quick and detailed reply about how I could add a poll to my newsletter. Even though email octopus don't do polls (at the moment, although they said they would send a feature request), I was able to get one setup and added to my newsletter within 15mins. I've been a free subscriber on there for a while, but I really like this company and will now be a paid subscriber. The support is great, and their product is easy to use.

The support I received from the Mail Octopus chat team was outstanding. They responded quickly, explained everything clearly, and were patient throughout the troubleshooting process.

What impressed me most was their willingness to stay engaged, investigate the issue thoroughly, and provide practical guidance at each step. Even when the problem required checking information outside their platform, they remained helpful and professional.

Simple and easy interface to use. Good designs. Even artists or creatives who are not digital savvy will find it easy to handle.

I have received extremely fast (less than 1hr), very accurate support on all issues. They have been proactive on saving m my charity money. I could not recommend them more. The team are super friendly and they don’t hide behind AI robots.

Email Octopus has been great for someone new to email marketing. Their FAQ data base page is helpful with good information. Their customer service team is also super great and has personally followed up with me to ensure I found a solution to my problem.
