great service...

I had an excellent experience with Ruman Manchanda. she was incredibly helpful and patient while helping me set up an RESP account for my daughter. she explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I really appreciate her professionalism and friendly attitude — highly recommend.

Scam company

When Embark acquired knowledge First Financial, we decided to transfer our daughters RESP to our bank. We started this process about 10 months ago. Embark keep using delay tactics, wrong documents, ignoring calls to prevent the transfer.

I have been in contact with your organization so has my bank but we just get stalled. Can you give me a contact to call?

J’ai été confronté à changer mon REEE


J’ai été confronté à changer mon REEE pour un REEI du au diagnostic de ma fille pour me rendre Compte quand la personne m’a expliqué cette compagnie m’a jamais parler des frais pris au début 4750$ avant même de cotiser pour ma fille
.. il ont pris chaque mois un montant que j’étais au courant pour la Gestion mais jamais un Montant proche de 5000$ pour l’ouverture du Compte!!!!
Résultat ma fille a perdue plus de 5000$ car la femme n’a parlé de ce frais jamais je l’aurais inscrit à ce régime avoir sus cette donner au début!!!!!!!!!

Use yourown bank. They take fees for everything. When I requested to transfer out, I was told it takes 45 business days to transfer funds. Holding the funds hostage essentially. Nothing in the world take 45 days to transfer.

Hello Allan Murphy, thank you for your feedback. We have always been transparent about the fees associated with a plan. They are mentioned in the prospectus at the time of sale and on our website. The 45 business days is to ensure that all outstanding funds are applied to the plan before transfer, i.e. grants, income earned, and depending on the plan rebate earned for that period. The time frame also gives time for the receiving company, if there are any errors, to correct and resubmit so that the transfer out can be completed in a timely manner. I had a misfortune of becoming


I had a misfortune of becoming (unbeknownst to me) an Embark customer. It will be finally over soon, if I manage to extract the last bit of my own money from them. Yet, I'll never get back the endless hours of submitting/resubmitting information to Embark because all records related to my 3 RESP accounts were thoroughly confused. Embark's main concern seem to be to sell more services to stressed our parents. Watch out, for unnecessary fees and products you don't want - like more life insurance. Customer support people have been always very nice but mostly powerless to resolve actual customer's issues. In the end, the financial returns on the funds "managed" by Embark were low, and not at all what was conveyed when we signed up with the original company, Allianz.

The estimated amount that you were told at the time of purchase was based on past performance and was not a guarantee of future results. Since the projection was at a point in time and assumed many factors which were beyond our control and contained hypothetical data, as well as was based on a number of assumptions that could not be predicted, then the information provided on the Illustration could not be used to predict future outcomes.

Horrible All-Round

Horrible, all around.

This company has been switched numerous times, most recently Knowledge First Financial. During the merge, my accounts were split into 5 accounts (from 4). My initial request this week was to condense this into one, under a family plan. Customer service = useless. All they do is arrange a callback. Well, when you arrange a callback between 5pm and 8pm, it doesn't happen as the senior folks only work until 5pm. After multiple calls in one week, 2 follow ups not being done during the requested hours, I now want to know how to move funds out of Embark. But, guess what, only senior folks can do that and you can't talk to them anyways. Patrner this will a very low rate of return on investment (less than half the average year, plus a couple years it lost money) equals a recipe for disaster. DON"T DO IT!

Pire compagnie de Reee

Pire compagnie dont service a la clientÚle (PARLER) a un humain est littéralement un cauchemar. Demande de transfert pour quitter Embark fait depuis 6mois a les tallonner/appeler sans réponses demander pourquoi c’est si long. Des explications pour étirer les délais. Demande de plus 6 mois signature invalide faut recommencer la demande de transfert. Je suis toujours en attente du transfert du Reee de mon fils.

Si vous chercher un service client non rejoignable par téléphone, des demandes qui aboutissent pas et dans un délais ridicule vous êtes a la bonne place.

Je vous recommande pas cet investissement.

Since October last year

Since October last year, I have been trying to contact this company just to update my address and mobile number because I couldn’t log into my account. I’ve tried emailing and calling, spending a lot of time with no response. It wasn’t until last Friday, August 22, that someone finally contacted me, informing me that my account had been deactivated without any prior notice. They promised a response by Monday, but as of now, August 25 evening, I still haven’t received any updates, and I’m still unable to log into my account. Be cautious of this company—potential scammers.
