As multiple individuals have said already, this company delivers a really poor product. From what we can tell, they completely ripped off someone else's design, except they did it in a really poor way. We actually talked to the lady who makes these at a really higher quality with good instructions, and she was well aware of the fact that they ripped them off. Once we realized that, we filed for the refund, which they were unwilling to do. I have also received the threat of being sent to collections from Jackson Knapp. Terrible way to try and run a business.
Coerced into a wire transfer with false legal threats for an item I never received
I ordered an embroidery stitch book in December 2025. The item never arrived. When I contacted their support team to request a refund, I was given two options: pay return shipping fees close to the cost of the item itself, or exchange it for a different product but only something more expensive than what I originally paid, meaning I would have had to spend even more money on top of what I had already lost. Neither option was a genuine remedy.
I filed a legitimate chargeback with my credit card company since I had not received my product, and was refunded.
Embroom then sent me a threatening email accusing me of fraud, threatening civil litigation, referral to collections, credit bureau reporting, and recovery of court and attorney fees, all over a $34 item I never received. They demanded I pay $34.08 via wire transfer by April 12, 2026. Under this pressure I sent the wire transfer.
Five days later, after receiving my payment, they sent a follow-up email fully retracting every single threat, explicitly admitting they do not report to credit bureaus, that no legal action was ever planned and that no additional fees were being sought. Every threat used to pressure me into paying was fabricated and they admitted it in writing only once they had my money. The wire transfer cannot be recalled.
Avoid this shop entirely.

I just received the most unhinged email from Embroom customer service. I put an order in back in December and didn't receive it, and reached out to their customer service. I did not receive a response so I filed a dispute with my credit card. It was resolved and I got my money back. Then three months later I receive this completely unhinged email stating that "A payment dispute has since been filed against this transaction. We want to make this unequivocally clear: the product associated with this order was shipped, delivered to your address, and consumed. A chargeback is not a legitimate means of reversing a completed purchase. Had you experienced any issue with your order, our support team at support at embroom.com was available to assist you â that would have been the appropriate course of action." DO NOT buy from Emrboom. COMPLETE scam and then they will try to intimidate you.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I ordered a product from them in late February, and within minutes I changed my mind and followed the 30-minute cancellation policy listed onto their website. I ordered within business hours on a business day. They did not respond to cancel the order. I emailed again when I got the order confirmation stating I had already asked to cancel. I emailed twice more and called and left two voicemails and received zero response. I got my card company involved who reversed the charge. I told Embroom that if the product was delivered I would gladly return it to them, but I would not pay for return postage as I did not want the product and followed every part of their process to cancel. I still received no response for a MONTH. Today I received an email from their billing department stating that I must pay them or they will charge me for fraud and/or send me to collections. I have saved every email and their policies. I tried to call the service line listed today and it is out of service now. Do not buy from this company.
Horrible product and company
Horrible product and company! My first order was misdelivered and stolen. Customer service never responded to my request for a replacement, so I disputed the charge with my bank to get my money back. I did end up ordering again so I could try the product and that one did arrive but was horrible quality, so I never even used it. Now 5 months later they're threatening to sue me if I don't pay for the original order with 2 weeks!

The company continues to contact me after I had to contact paypal for a refund due to the item never showing up. Now the company wants to be paid for an item that was never delivered. I would like to give zero stars to this company. I had exactly the same experience as many other reviewers: ordered in early December 2025, long delivery time, poor quality tools and materials which make the expensive booklets (I ordered two) unusable.
âJennyâ offered partial refunds but after my MANY unanswered requests by email for Embroomâs return address, I finally went to my credit card company and got my refund that way. Today I got an email from Embroomâs collections department saying theyâre coming after me for the money I owe them. One line from their letter that particularly galling: âHad you experienced any issue with your order, our support team was available to assist you â that would have been the appropriate course of action.â
No kidding.
And this company is STILL advertising on Instagram!
This company is awful
This company is awful. I ordered their embroidery book and did NOT receive it. I am being threatened with collection action since I disputed the charge with my credit card company.
I followed the tracking info from their shipping company and it said was delivered. I did not find the product so I went to the shipping company. They sent me pictures of the "delivery" but the pictures were not of my house. I went to Embroom's customer service and told them about it. Their response was basically that's too bad. There's nothing we can do to help you. That's when I went to my credit card company and disputed the charge. Now they are threatening me with collection action over $37.57. The amount is not a problem but they are an awful company.

What I received was nothing like what was advertised. Among other issues already reported by other reviewers, there was no instruction booklet.

Beware of Scam
I ordered the stitch book on Dec 3 as a Christmas gift and it took almost a month to arrive from China - well past Christmas. The item was a joke, it was just folded up cloth and a cheap embroidery kit, and no instructions. I went back and forth with âJennyâ an obvious AI bot, I was advised not to ship it back to them to their warehouse in Italy as I would be responsible for the cost, instead they offered a 20% refund. The email exchanges were a nightmare, everything I said got muddied and my concerns deflected. I was able to fortunately get a chargeback from my bank after they investigated the matter. I encourage everyone to work with your banking institution to try to get your money back. Going forward, I will never trust a companyâs social media reviews or website, I will instead spend some time searching other reputable sites (such as this) to get a sense of if a company is real or not.
Avoid this scam! Stolen idea
This is a stolen idea from the original creator, Under the Garden Moon. The book you receive here is poorly constructed with the pages uncut making it impossible to do the stitching without it coming through on the other sideâs designs. There are no instructions included and the supplies that are provided are the cheapest materials possible. Such a scam. If you are serious about learning different stitches, order from Under The Garden Moon directly. Itâs pricier but includes step by step directions and all the high quality threads you need in the proper colors to create a truly beautiful memento.

No instructions, no hoop
I bought 2 sets for Christmas. They were very late and when I opened them I realized that they are not beginner friendly. There are no instructions for the stitches and no hoop for embroidery. When I contacted the company for a refund they offered my 30% or I could pay for shipping back across the ocean and so get about 30% back.

This is a fake website that scams its users. I bought one of their products, but they refuse to send it to me and they also refuse to refund my money. They claim that the item has been shipped and delivered, but nothing has arrived, and they cannot provide any proof.
When you contact them, they keep assigning new people to reply by email, and you have to explain everything all over again each time. It always ends with them saying that I need to return the item to get a refund â even though I never received anything.
