Sam was calm and supportive throughout
Sam was amazing all through the trials and tribulations of selling my farm shop. Although an extremely stressful sale, through no fault of EM&F, Sam remained cool and calm at all times and never once lost her sense of humour. Many thanks for all your help and advice throughout.

Brilliant support during small business purchase
Just bought a small business through EMF (branch near Exeter) and Sam was so so helpful. It's all very new to me so I had some worries as it went along, and Sam was brilliant with getting information and calming my nerves. Extremely efficient and brilliant at communicating between all the parties and keeping things moving. Can't rate them highly enough!.

Dealing with David Wilson was easy.
After 32 years of running my own business, it was time to decide what to do with the business and look forward to retirement and do all the things that never got done and have some “our time!” We were recommended to contact EMF and David Wilson set up a meeting to get a feel of what we wanted. David listened and came up with a solution that suited our requirements. All the way through the sale process, David was there to “hold our hands” as it is a very sensitive process selling a business that you’ve started and built up. A successful sale followed and the process went smoothly with the continued guidance of David. Thank you again David for all your help, we couldn’t have done it without you.

They asked for a deposit.
A while back I was interested in purchasing a business. I was asked by a representative of EMF to pay a deposit. This is highly irregular and not legal. When the business wasn't what I thought it was I struggled to get this money back. In fact to get the majority back I had to write a letter that they made me write so as to get some money back, if there's no letter then nothing would be returned. They Pocketed a £1000 of mine. Do not trust these people. Never give a deposit. For any reason.

Thank you for your review, we are unable to find any record of this transaction. It is not normal company policy to request a deposit as this would be dealt with via the solicitors acting for the buyer/seller.

Highly Recommended
We engaged the services of David Wilson from emf to co-ordinate the sale of our independent business near Stoke on Trent.
David was great! He gave us very sound advice, produced a very impressive business sales overview and advertised it on the right relevant sales Channels.
David then liaised with all interested parties and very soon, with our potential buyers and both sets of solicitors.
This made the sale of our 25-year-old specialist business much easier and stress free.
We would highly recommend David.

Excellent commercial sales agents with a full support throughout
We dealt with David and can highly recommend him and his company. We saw several commercial estate agents. A lot offered unrealistic prices just to get your business whereas David went through a proper valuation of worth based on property value in the area and profit the shop was making. Also compared to other commercial property agents they do this at a fair and reasonable cost. Very friendly with constant support throughout the process.
