Thank you for your review.

As you acknowledge, the business was marketed under a signed sole agency agreement which required written notice to terminate. No such notice was received and the business was subsequently sold during the period of instruction.

During our engagement we actively marketed the business, circulated details to 176 prospective purchasers, arranged seven viewings and progressed three separate sale transactions.

Our agreements are provided to all clients before instruction and clearly set out the circumstances in which commission becomes payable.

Following completion of the sale, commission became due in accordance with the terms of the signed agreement and was subsequently settled.

We don’t push people to sell. It’s a big, personal decision and it has to feel right for you, not us. Our job is to give clear, straight answers on value and options, so you can decide what to do and when.

We’d rather be honest about where a business would realistically sell than dress it up to win an instruction. That never ends well for anyone.

You were a first time buyer, so we made sure you had the right solicitor, talked you through every step and kept everything in plain English. There were a few wobbles along the way, but that is normal in any deal. We got everyone back round the table and shared the risk so it could still get over the line.

You were a great buyer to work with and took it all in your stride. Proper well done on buying your first business. Looking forward to popping in for a coffee and seeing how you are getting on.

Thanks for the review. It was a pleasure working with you. The Glost House deal needed a fair bit of coordination to keep everyone on track, but you handled the process brilliantly and it made my side of things much easier. I’m glad we kept it moving and reached a solid outcome.

Thanks for the review. Your deal had plenty of moving parts, and we had to keep a fair few stakeholders and solicitors pushed along to get it over the line. It took a lot of pushing from our end, but we got there. Thanks for your patience and professionalism throughout, it made the whole thing far easier to manage.
